First "the good"--This place has a great selection of things you won't find in a big box store…read more Folks are pretty helpful and the pricing is fairly reasonable. You'll pay a bit more than Lowes or Home Depot but for me it's worth it to get something you can't buy anywhere else. Next, "the OK"--the quality is so-so. I think some of their stuff spends a lot of time in the greenhouse. For example, their perennials are kind of leggy and their roses had "bloomed out" in early May--much earlier than they should. Shrubs and trees were better. Last, the "not-so-good"- Their return policy is pretty strict. They give you a pamphlet that shows you how to plant stuff and also has an entire page with their guarantee policy. Read the guarantee policy. There are all sorts of exclusions to their plant guarantee and you need to save the dead plant, tags and receipt. In addition, I purchased more plants than I needed (just in case) and luckily made it back within 48 hours (Apparently, you have 48 hours to return anything--even if it is still in the pot). Otherwise I would have been out of luck and even then, I didn't get a refund but store credit. Bottom line--this is a good place to purchase plants you can't get anywhere else but I'd go to the big box stores for the basics.

Someone I know moved to Utah recently, so it's the first time I've sent flowers to someone there. I always try to order through a local florist because they're usually better than the nationwide florist sites. The Gibby site had a lot of options, and I placed an online order for exactly what I wanted and at a reasonable price. I received my order confirmation, but then I received an email with a photo of the finished arrangement indicating it was ready for delivery. It was so nice to actually see what was being delivered. Most places that send a photo just send their standard photo from their website, so this is really a cut above. A short while later, I received a call from the delivery person. They were super nice and said they were at the delivery address but no one was home, no neighbors were home, and it was very hot outside so leaving them on the porch would probably ruin them. We chatted about options, she gave me the local temperature, and we decided that she would leave a note, take the flowers back to the shop, and try to deliver them again the next day. I just heard from the happy recipient that they have received the flowers and they are gorgeous. I really appreciated not only how beautiful the arrangement turned out, but how well Gibby's kept me updated on my order status with a completed photo, and the very caring and patient delivery person who made sure the recipient received my order in the best condition possible. I am located in California, so I hesitated using one of those corporate flower companies and I'm glad I found someone local, who delivers free to the Farmington area. A quick email in the evening and she promptly responded back in the AM. She collected all the information needed, I asked for a $50 arrangement and was able to pay via Venmo or Credit Card. Her first attempt was not successful, but she contacted me via text and told me there was morning snow and didnt feel right to just leave it at the front door. She even tried their neighbors with no luck. Instead, she asked for the recipients cell number and told me she had a few other errands to run and would attempt again in an hour or so.
