I asked they hold the onions/pico de gallo but when I got them...they forgot. He offered to re-make them and I said, no that's OK, I'll just pick the onions off. He said there was a miscommunication between him & the cook, so...it happens. He added a ground beef taco for free, so I was good with that. These are 'street tacos' which all that really means is they are on the small side. You have a choice of corn, flour or hard corn tortillas/shells. They will add taco sauce if you wish. The quality is very good, they are fresh and flavorful. Their prices are reasonable as well, $2.75 to $3.75 each. They also have cold beverages on ice, soda and water. The guy at the register told me that business has been good post COVID. They are committed to the location by the Fairway ABC store at the corner of Route 160 (Tom Hall) and Route 460 (Fort Mill Parkway). They plan to add an awning and picnic tables and begin to serve breakfast in the near future. They will also continue to be at the Walter Elisha Park for the summer concert series. One such food truck I came across is Sal's Roadside Eatery. They sell a variety of sandwiches from Philly cheesesteaks, pitas, and a personal favorite of mine the chopped cheese! Every sandwich comes with a side and while their French fries look great I personally recommend going with the loaded potato salad. It's was seriously the best potato salad I've had in as long as I can remember! The chopped cheese hit the spot as well. I'm not sure of their exact schedule as I just stumbled upon them in this spot, but if you have some time it is worth waking by the area to see what trucks are there, and if Sal's is there the you definitely need to do yourself a favor and go try it.

Menu is the same as the truck. Make your order and watch them put it together and proceed down the line to the cashier. There are framed posters/photos of each of the items offered. Pick the type of item, like taco or burrito or whatever, and then the protein and condiments. You can see what is available. Portions are generous. You self-serve fountain drinks or order a couple of specialty beverages (horchata, jamaica) before you hit the cashier. Tables are cleaned quickly, as lunch is really busy. You take your waste to the disposal area. Friendly and a great place to experience Mexican-style food and hospitality. I suggest they keep a bowl with fries ready and when they are ordered you have them or you can double fry it to reheat and crisp them. When we did get the fries it was a massive portion with no season like the photo suggested and you guessed it greasy from sitting in the oil too long. They couldn't offer a refund, replace it with rice and it should not have been offered. Just say the fryer isn't working can we suggest rice? How hard is that? Never received an apology for the time we waited... in the rain. The worse part is we have both had better gyros in our lives.
