I've been following these guys on Instagram and today realized how close they were to my…read moreneighborhood in Fort Mill, SC. I got several to try, the shrimp, carnitas and pork. I asked they hold the onions/pico de gallo but when I got them...they forgot. He offered to re-make them and I said, no that's OK, I'll just pick the onions off. He said there was a miscommunication between him & the cook, so...it happens. He added a ground beef taco for free, so I was good with that. These are 'street tacos' which all that really means is they are on the small side. You have a choice of corn, flour or hard corn tortillas/shells. They will add taco sauce if you wish. The quality is very good, they are fresh and flavorful. Their prices are reasonable as well, $2.75 to $3.75 each. They also have cold beverages on ice, soda and water. The guy at the register told me that business has been good post COVID. They are committed to the location by the Fairway ABC store at the corner of Route 160 (Tom Hall) and Route 460 (Fort Mill Parkway). They plan to add an awning and picnic tables and begin to serve breakfast in the near future. They will also continue to be at the Walter Elisha Park for the summer concert series. He said they had considered a brick & mortar store in Fort Mill but have put that idea on hold. NOTE: NO CASH -credit cards only!

We absolutely love these tacos!…read more I'm taking away 1 star for way too much of wait time to get the food (we waited close to half an hour and only had 3-4 people ahead of us). Another minus this time was comparatively less shrimp on my tacos than the last time. It was super loaded last time.. Having said that - love their tacos... ! Give it

The featured option in the world of Fort Mill Food Trucks…read more COVID created a lot of negatives in the restaurant world however one of the positive things it did was create a market for local Food Trucks. There are so many options that have emerged since March of 2020 and before you try the rest, you must try the best. Yes, I know that's a bold statement and to check me, check it out. Let me know if you disagree. If you like a good burger, go Slap Daddy Waygu and you can thank me later. Another good option is the pot pie tacos. You will find Joe & Jesse around town at places like 1873 Brewing and Amor Artis in Fort Mill and in Rock Hill at The Mercantile & Slow Play Brewing. Your taste buds will thank you!

LaMancha Marbles ($9.00) - Deep Fried Chèvre Cheese Balls, Pineapple/Meyer Lemon Marmalade, Crumbled Bacon, Everything Bagel Honey, Jalapeño Dust - Goat cheese has a slightly different taste from traditional cheese, but different doesn't always have a negative connotation. In this case, it means magnificent. The cheese balls paired perfectly with the marmalade, which you can see from the video WOW'd me because of its sweetness. Chicken Griddle -($12.00, with bacon, +$2.00, with side of fries, +$2.50) - Chargrilled Marinated Chicken Breast, Creamy Herb Cheese, Pickled Red Onions, Dapper Duke's Sauce, Bibb Lettuce, Buttered Brioche - I wasn't surprised that this sandwich was FIRE. One look at it and I knew there was going to be some tasty juiciness going in my mouth. The Fat Elvis Cupcake - ($5.00) - Banananana Cake, Whiskey Chocolate Ganache, Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Frosting, Bacon- If you know Elvis, you know Peanut Butter, banana, and bacon are his thing. Well, this cupcake is my thing. The reason why? Well, for all four things listed in the cupcake's description. However, my favorite parts are the Peanut Butter Cream Cheese frosting and the surprise Whiskey Chocolate Ganache in the center of the cupcake. Glad we came bc it was such a fun atmosphere and the margaritas were on point! We needed up just ordering appetizers and we fell in love with the gringo dip, such much so we ordered it twice. They had reggaeton playing, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. The vibe was casual and laid-back. We were brought warm chips and salsa right away, which was nice. Our waitress took our order, but she was pretty absent after that. It was hard to get more napkins and refills on our beer and soda. The fajitas for two were really good -- 5/5. The cilantro rice, though, was a 1/5. It was very dry and way too salty, which was disappointing. The elote (corn on the cob), which I was really excited about, was a 5/5. So good. One thing that also disappointed me was the guacamole. The menu says it's prepared tableside, which usually explains the higher price. However, that wasn't the case for us. It wasn't made at the table, so that was a little frustrating since it seemed like we were paying extra for that experience. Overall, the food was mostly great, but the customer service was lacking. It was frustrating because we could see people waiting, and we were ready to pay and leave to free up the table. It was just hard to get her attention for to-go boxes and the check, and it took a while before she came back. Maybe we'll try again at a slower time.
