Place is really good. Almost too good since they were out of almost everything. I really wanted the wings because they looked so good but by the time I got to the front of the line, they were out. I ended up getting the cajun tacos. Tacos were good and the fish was cooked really good. I didn't know that there was cilantro rice on the taco and I got a side of it. You can place orders ahead of time so there is no wait. They can text or email when the order is ready. They are on top of things. They have sandwiches, wraps, wings and other options. Plated Palette showed up at my office park the other day and I didn't bring my lunch. Therefore I got Plated Palette. I checked out a few of the entrees that my co-workers got before I made my selection of a chicken pita sandwich with greens, tomatoes, and cucumber ranch with a side of cilantro rice. I came across the Plated Palette at the Uptown Flea today. I was happy that they offered quite a few vegetarian/pescatarian options. I opted for the fish tacos and they were DELICIOUS. I got the cilantro lime rice as a side which was best with the extra lime squeezed on it. Great customer service too! I hope to run into this truck more often. read more

All I can say is that their food definitely missed the mark. I absolutely love the food trucks in Charlotte and have never been disappointed, until I tried The Plated Palette. I was able to try this food truck outside of Ass Clown Brewery over the weekend. I had asked them what their signature dish was or what they recommended I tried, I was directed to try their version of a steak and cheese sandwich. If that is their best dish then I am sorry to say that I doubt I will try their food again. The sandwich was sub par and left much to be desired. Even with adding grilled onions and peppers it was still very bland. The rest of their menu consisted of fish tacos and I am left wondering if I would of been better off ordering those. read more

Not what I'd hoped for. I got the chicken pita and it was definitely not what I expected. The chicken was that processed strip chicken out of a bag or something...and it didn't have any flavor, but im more concerned with how processed it is. Then there's a piece of provolone on the bottom and a lot of ranch dressing on top. I give it 3 stars (being too kind) because the greens and tomatoes seemed fresh. First time I went to a food truck in Charlotte, and it was great! I got their special which was 2 Cajun Fish Tacos, a side, and a drink. The fish tacos were delicious, and seasoned perfectly. They had a corn salsa, spring greens, and a chipotle ranch on them, all going really well together. The only reason I gave four stars is because of my side, the cilantro lime rice, it was too acidic for my taste, but I added it to my tacos, and it added some good flavor to them. read more

Tried this food trailer at Hunter Farms in Weddington Friday night instead of pizza, I think the proceeds went to some charity. Out of 3 food trucks this one had the longest line and best looking menu. Line seemed to move at a usual food truck pace, food looked good as it passed by us. Got up to order to find out that they were out of quesadillas, which my daughter wanted, but not to worry she's easy to please so she got the Chicken Pita. Had heard great things about the London Broil sandwich so the wife and I got those. Unfortunately, they were all out of the side my wife wanted, she was offered chips, but declined them. I had the Red potato salad. I'm just going to make it quick: The food was average at best. The sandwich could have been better, seemed like a grilled cheese with meat. Maybe they could consider changing the cheese and bread for something better keeping the meat the same. Cost was 9 bucks, would have felt better paying $6 Girl next to me got the fish tacos and said they were great so, maybe try those............. My daughter said she like the pita....looked like some fresh ingredients on it. read more

The food was ok but not great. For the price, I expected a little more in quality and quantity. I had the fish tacos, most restaurants give you 3 tacos, but I only received 2. I could tell it was pre-frozen. The potato salad was good but it wasn't enough to really enjoy it. read more

Just had food from here at Sugar Creek Brewing. Excellent. We asked her what the best things were and she said London Broil sandwich and fish tacos so that's what we ordered. Also got the red potato salad and corn and edamame salad. Really good food. Definitely would eat here again. read more

I love eating at the Plated Palette! I've eaten there a few times, and continue to search for them at food truck friday in Charlotte. My favorite item they serve is their fish tacos. I'm not a big fan of fish, but the way they put their fish tacos together makes me forget all about that. I've also had their cranberry turkey melt (when they have it available), and their london broil sandwich which are both very good as well! I haven't tried anything else yet, however I've seen people order their other menu items and they look really delicious and healthy. I always speak to the nice people that work on their and its my understanding they go to other places to serve throughout the week, so I may have track them down during lunch or dinner for my fish tacos! I also understand they've been in business for a little over 3 years, so all I have to say to them is keep up the good work! read more

first time london broil sand...really good ok price..only 15 min. with two ahead of us

was very disappointing. I looked forward to lunch their my whole morning at work, it was going to be a Friday treat. When I got there the line was only 3 people long plus two waiting on food. It took twenty minutes to get my food and in that time I saw them botch 2 orders ahead of mine. When I received my order of "blackened fish tacos with strawberry pico de gallo" I was surprised to find it was just two tortillas each with a piece of heavily spiced and slightly dry fish. No cheese, cabbage, sauce or anything else, just fish on tortilla. Oh and the pico was on the side, about an ounce cup to split between two otherwise bare tacos. The price is right, but the value just isnt there. Maybe they are new to the business and will learn in time. read more
