Nice little grocery store with about everything we needed for a three-day stay. Prices were okay. Friendly cashiers.

Awesome little market (well, not so small)!!! Hubster and I are staying in Panguitch for the week. So good to know there is a place like this near by. They have just about anything you need. Fresh produce, a butcher/meat counter, ice cream, yummy baked goods and all other necessities. Really just a big store kinda shrunk down. They have everything! Very clean inside. Reminded us of before the big-box stores took over - like a local market from the 60/70s. Old fashioned circular counter at check out. Friendly service. read more

Groceries you want?! If you are travelling in South Eastern Utah and planning to enjoy Bryce Canyon or other wonderful National or State parks in the area, you may end up staying in Panguitch, Hatch or somewhere near by in the area. If you do, you will quickly find out that stores are hard to come by in this area mostly because they are not very densely populated. Well, let's suppose your groceries were running short and you still had plenty of hiking and discovering to do. You would always have the option of paying premium prices for the items you need in the stores in the parks or just outside of them, or to drive to Joe's Main Street supermarket and load up those empty coolers! Try Joe's Main Street store and don't blow your hard earned cash for no good reason! :-) NOTE: I am not suggesting that the prices here are low or even comparable to your average hometown grocery stores, what I am saying is that they are much lower than what you'd pay in other stores in the area. And they have a larger selection compared to the others. read more

If you're staying near Bryce Canyon this is probably one of a few grocery stores that is available to purchase food and other necessities. While the variety of items and convenience are there, I was really disappointed to see half of the employees not wearing masks and neglecting CDC guidelines. It's a damn mask and not a hazmat suit, it's not that difficult to wear! read more

We were staying in Hatch, looked up the closest place to get a few groceries and Joe's popped up on Yelp. First of all, I did not appreciate ALL the staff not wearing their masks despite the rise in covid cases in the area. Please keep in mind, the staff was "wearing" their masks on their chin, so basically not wearing them at all. They should be considerate of the folks going into this "grocery store" and spending $$$ here. It was honestly the closest place around town, it was late...so I had no other option. I wish I would've spent my $85 else where. Oh and by the way, the staff here was not friendly. Flaunting their Trump 2020 masks....on their chin. Avoid this place if you care about the mask mandate due to covid. read more

Small community store. So many mask-hysterics posting one-star reviews - pushing mask politics instead of reviewing a small business likely being assailed by big government from every direction. So we have a cadre of Karens - who think every face should have a mask on it - indefinitely - and will use every tool (including Yelp) to push their radical agenda. read more

For a small town grocery store and no other "real" grocery store for more than two hours away thus grocery store has a good selection with semi decent prices. However, some things are double or more for the prices of things you might find in a large city, like good OJ. read more

Friendlier than the rest of town. They have what ya need. Not much in the way of low cal low carb fare but you can create something. This is the only grocery store in Panguitch. As a result, prices for most items are on the expensive side. However, for a smallish grocery store it has the standard grocery store basics and then some. You can probably find most of what you need unless you have really specific shopping needs. Extremely friendly staff and very clean store. As with many remote locations, food does come a higher price than in most places. This is not a Smith's or Fred Meyers, but there is plenty to choose from in regards to food and household supplies. When a trip to the city and a larger food store is not in the cards, Joe's is a great alternative. The parking lot is a bit small so if you have a larger vehicle or if you're towing, you may need to park on the street or elsewhere if Joe's is busy. read more

Panguitch, UT is a one stop light kind of town. It is the very definition of Mayberry USA. I've been shopping at Joes on our yearly trek to Bryce Canyon for over 10 years. Joes is the best place to grocery up, since Rubys Inn jacks up the prices for all of those European tourists in their Cruise America RV's. The produce is so fresh it seems that it was just picked out of someone's garden. Their meat counter is an "old fashioned" one. No cellophane covered styrofoam trays here. They have just about everything you may need to prepare a meal. It is the only market in Panguitch, except for Family Dollar. read more

Good selection of groceries and they do sell beer. Be forewarned that Panguitch doesn't seem to believe in wearing masks during this pandemic time. This place is no different. The employees weren't masked and one of them laughed at us because we were. Utah's covid cases are currently spiking so if you don't want to take unnecessary risks, you might not want to spend a lot of time in this little rural town. read more

The staff is friendly and the selection is pretty decent for a small store. They have a nice selection of groceries and even have a small butcher case. If you're camping near Bryce and want to pick up a steak to throw on the grill, this is your store. read more

This is a MARKET. It's the only decent sized market in the area. We were staying in Elk Ridge Estates (near Duck Creek), and were told that the nearest market was the Walmart in Cedar City. That was nonsense. Joe's is in Panguitch, which is 30min from our cabin and they had most what we needed. It's about half the size of a proper grocery store, but they carried a good range of products. read more

This supermarket has limited fresh fruit and vegetable options. The last spinach salad box they had, had a lot of yellowed leaves. As for milk options, for some reason you can't buy anything smaller than a quart. Otherwise, the prices are OK, and you really don't have much choice anyway if you stay in town. If you are off to Bryce, you had better buy what you need here, because the prices only go up, and the options may or may not suit your needs. read more

I love shopping here because it's like stepping back to a time when stores were small and friendly. It has a quaint hometown feel that I don't feel anywhere in Las Veags. The selection is small, especially produce, but it has most everything you need. When vacationing near Bryce we will purposefully not bring food with us just so we can shop here. Its part of our vacationing tradition. P.S. if you need firewood, the house next to the market sell it for $4 a bundle or $6 for two. read more

We stayed at Robber's Roost while we toured Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. Our host recommended Joe's Main Street Market. We got some excellent bacon and link sausage. The sausage tasted like link sausage should taste, but so seldom does. It was solid sausage! We had BLT sandwiches with some of the bacon. Yummy stuff! Well, for coastal standards this is not the greatest of grocery stores. But considering its location in the middle of nowhere, it is a beacon of light in the otherwise supplies-lagging vicinity of Bryce Canyon. They have a decent selection of fresh produce, a good assortment of canned goods, meats and other necessities. They are completely lacking sea food with the exception of chicken fried fish fingers-beef is what is for dinner! Even their business hours extend into the evening-very useful if you need to get some supplies after a hard hike! read more

Superior customer care! I'm a new local and only been to Joe's a handful of times. I recently had surgery putting one of my arms in a cast and sling. As I checked out with my few items, the young lady checker called over head for a bagger and carry out. Not thinking anything of it a nice gentleman came bagged my groceries as I paid. As I received my change I looked to find my cart to haul out to my car, but with a warm smile the gentleman had my 4 bags in his hands waiting at the doors to carry them to my car for me.
