Been very disappointed with our last couple of orders. Toppings sparse. Just not up to par. New cooks?

Joe's is traditional New York Style Pizza available locally and I goe there for a three dollar slice now and then. I just order the Cheese Slices for a pure taste that I know to be authentic. Joe's is so low key, I almost didn't know they existed, until recently. I will make it a point to support this local business which makes a five star Cheese Pizza. Gearlic Knots and Philly Cheesesteak are next. read more

It's always a bit worrisome to try and find a good place to eat when you're on vacation but luckily we found Joes Pizza! We had a variety of items. The prices were very fair, portions were great. Pizza was a 10. Chicken parm a 10. My Hubbage had a steak and cheese hero and that was a 10. Our adult kids, one of which is a Chef both had pasta dinners with meat sauce- 10! Their bread was delicious. The sauce was great (I'm Italian and very picky about anyone else's sauce!) the staff was so friendly. The food was ready on time and they even packed three dinners in a pizza box to make it easier to carry. Just a great experience and we'll definitely be back while we're here. read more

Ordered a meatball sub sauce on the side. The sauce tasted like they opened a can of tomato sauce and sent that. Also ordered a sausage sandwich. There was no cheese and the bread was not toasted. Not very happy read more

Never has delivery drivers really good place but need to definitely hire more people.

I don't know if they thought the slices were for a child but these were the absolute tiniest slices I have ever received when ordering any takeout pizza slices. I'm from New Jersey and I crave good authentic NJ/NY pizza. And I will say, it was nice and crispy and had a good taste. That's why it still deserves 3 stars. I did not go back in and ask them to make it right, to be honest from now on I will be opening pizza boxes in front of employees to make sure this doesn't happen again. So I'm not sure of their business practices if I asked for a replacement. All I know is I had to go to Publix next door for more food because I was still starving. I'm a big guy. The 2 slices they sold me combined probably didn't even make 1 full slice from other places. It just seems greedy and like you're trying to cheap out on your customers. It's just bread, tomatoes, and cheese. I'm not asking for a pie. But a little more would be nice. Imagine a 12 slice pizza. That's how small it was. Also walking in I wasn't greeted, every employee just kept their head down like they hide until your order is ready. Me and the other customers just kept looking at eachother like "what do we do?" Ordered online, almost $100 with a tip. Food was wrong, missing items, and the employees were subpar and not interested in a remedy or even why we were dissatisfied. Food was not bad (5/10) but would likely not order from them again. Joe's pizza is the best ever. I come from Boston and thought never would I find any place that would compare. Well, guess what, Joe's has it beat Also there steak, cheese, mushroom, and peppers is also the best. My husband orders one every week, and it's enough for at least 2 meals. Outstanding customer service. The food? Even better. Delicious meatballs, but no photos. My wife and I ate them too quickly. They looked and smelled amazing and we just dove in. The location of this restaurant is great, right next to Publix! The subs here are great, along with the mozzarella sticks. There's not much indoor seating, but there is multiple benches outside. The wait time on a Sunday evening is around 25 minutes read more

Everyone has their own opinions on pizza. One man's great pizza is another man's worst. The sausage was great. I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce. They add pizza seasoning after the pizza is done cooking. Wish the sauce itself had more seasoning IN it. Not a bad pizza. Probably average in MY opinion but maybe your top 3?! read more

The good: Excellent New York style pizza! The slices are oversized and there's a perfect blend of seasonings on top. I ended up eating 3 slices from our extra large pepperoni pizza because I just couldn't stop. They had a steady stream of customers and a table blocking you from proceeding more than a few steps inside the door for COVID safety measures. The bad: Not one person working was wearing a mask. Why oh why are precautions not taken seriously in this part of Florida?? I ordered a large pepperoni and a large Buffalo chicken pizza. They gave me a BBQ chicken pizza instead and neither pizzas were cooked enough. The BBQ was too sweet to where I couldn't finish the first slice and the pepperoni had barely any sauce under the cheese. This was very disappointing, honestly the second worst pizza I've ever had. XL Cheese pizza and fries every Friday. The whole family loves it and we always look forward to Friday for Joe's pizza night. The crust has a garlicy touch and it's thin and delicious. I don't do any of the other toppings. The cheese is always perfect as long as they add the garlic. French fries are crispy. read more

As NYC dwellers, we are usually pretty disappointed by pizza outside of the 5 boroughs. Who knew such yummy pizza was hiding in a strip mall in Port Charlotte? Not us. We ate in, so we were able to taste the pizza straight out of the oven, which is alway best. Nice thin crispy crust, the right ratio of sauce and cheese...yippee!! read more

I have gotten pizza here at Joes. It is pretty good. But I am really disappointed with the subs. I had a chicken parmesan sub the other day and my friend had the eggplant parm sub. Honestly the chicken tasted and looked like a cheap chicken patty. There was very little sauce and very little cheese. The sandwich was very unimpressive and I was disappointed since I like their pizza. At least cover up that sad chicken patty with a bunch of cheese and sauce and maybe I wont notice it as much! read more

As a big fan of NY-style pizza, I really wanted to like Joe's. For $15.99 for a medium, one-topping pizza, I got a pizza with very scarce toppings (pepperoni on half, sausage on the other half) and a pizza that had absolutely no taste.
