This place felt like home. The second that you walked in, you can see all the locals support this great. Food establishment, it is always great when we can support local businesses. we were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. No less than 1 minute later, we had this massive large cup of coffee at our table. It was delicious. shortly after we had our meal on our table, both ordered the western omelet, it was done perfectly. They used real eggs. ambiance felt very nice. I'm not gonna say it was quiet because there was a lot of people, but it felt like eating with your neighbor per se. We would definitely come back.

Food was delicious, obvious everything cooked fresh. We got Phili cheesesteak omelette with hash browns 2eggs, bacon, ham and sausage It was all wonderful Service was great, we had Jackie as our waitress, she was friendly and smiled. All the waitresses were smiling while serving and even when working the drink area. Place is clean, VERY clean, bright and welcoming. What a great spot, so glad we came to try them out. I prefer to visit locally owned small businesses and this will be my new Sunday AM breakfast stop!

The restaurant has a bright, welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Everything was very clean and well organized, and the environment felt cheerful and inviting, which is perfect for starting the day. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed, and our server made sure we had everything we needed. Even though the restaurant was busy, the service was quick and efficient, and everyone working there seemed happy and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. You can really tell that everything is made with fresh ingredients and prepared with care. The menu has so many great options, from classic breakfast dishes to healthier choices and creative brunch items. Everything we ordered came out beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, and everything was cooked perfectly. The coffee and drinks were also great and kept coming, which is always a plus when you're enjoying a relaxing breakfast. It's the kind of place where you can take your time, enjoy good food, and have a great conversation with family or friends. Overall, this location truly stands out as a fantastic breakfast and brunch spot in Port Charlotte. Between the excellent service, fresh and flavorful food, and welcoming atmosphere, it's easy to see why so many people love First Watch. We will definitely be coming back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to start their morning!

We weren't there for longer than an hour and she was already trying to rush us out of our table at one point, even though there was absolutely no one waiting to be seated and many other tables waiting to be cleaned. Our server was attentive but I think she might have gone home halfway through our meal because she disappeared. We had to flag down Grumperstein to get a to go container for my food, which is really why we were there longer than an hour in the first place. Our server disappeared and no one else bothered to come over once we got our check. The food was decent and average priced. It was fresh when we got it, so good part on the server. Extensive menu with healthy food options, which is good for me. The ambiance probably would have been better if they actually had friendly people that had smiles on their face. Or clean tables. I'm not sure what the deal was, but the only time anybody had to wait for a table was because they had to wait for someone tobclean one of the many dirty ones off that no one had bothered to clean instead of standing around. Up until today, I've only ever had takeout from here and did not feel the food was worth what you pay for. Now I definitely stand behind that statement. I know there aren't many breakfast locations (besides Panera, which is right next door). In all honesty, I'd rather go to Mcdonald's if this is the kind of service you get for the price you pay for the food here. And I don't eat Mcdonald's.

If you're looking for something that isn't the typical chain, this will be your place . I visited twice this month for breakfast and one time for brunch. Both were great. The Breakfast Bowl is one of my favorites with whipped eggs that are fluffy and moist served with sliced peppers and onions and sausage all over the top with cheddar cheese on cubed potatoes. The scrambled Eggs are so tasty. I just loved em, the waitress said that the eggs are whipped which makes them extra fluffy and creamy. A Fresh Quiche special is made daily & served with a bowl of fresh fruit. The three meat quiche was delicious, super moist and full of meat. I tried the Reuben sandwich. It is out of this world, with onion rings that I couldn't stop eating! Crispy delicately made and tasty as could be! And don't forget to go over to the bakery counter, each time we picked up snacks for later, the brownie was excellent, as was a coconut pecan everything bar just great. And if you like a good cup of coffee, theirs is roasted locally, robust great flavor, best cups I've have had in Florida! Thanks Zoe's

I had coffee and water and ordered a skillet of corned beef hash with house, potatoes and a biscuit, two eggs over-easy. The biscuit was really a star, tasty, crispy edges, nice and homemade. And I recommend the side gravy ($1.95) good with little bits of sausage and a lot of pepper. The corn beef was really fatty so I wish they trimmed it a little better cooked it rendered farther down. The so-called fancy house potatoes were just hashbrowns with some white sauce in the middle if seemed. I questioned whether they were the house potatoes... hard to distinguish between a hash brown. We're now at the point where we're questioning whether we will return. Since the head chef is no longer there, it's very noticeable that the kitchen has been impacted. The quality, taste, and speed of the food have all declined. Even more concerning is the lack of professionalism you can now see coming out of the kitchen--it's disappointing. What made this visit even more surprising is that this was during a special holiday, and the restaurant was not busy. Given that, there is no reason service and food should have taken as long as it did, or come out with such poor quality and lack of execution. The General Manager needs to take stronger control--not just of the kitchen, but also of the service team's attitude and overall execution. There are a couple of servers who consistently do an excellent job--Franklin being one of them. He gets it right every single time, even with special requests, and truly stands out. Unfortunately, that was not our experience today. Our server, Sheyly, took our order and we made a simple request to have our French toast held until after our main dishes. Her response of "I'll try" was not reassuring, and she walked away without confirming anything. We then waited over 30 minutes for our food, only to hear our server yell to the kitchen to "hold the French toast"--which clearly came too late. The French toast was brought out before our main dishes, with no acknowledgment or concern for the mistake. When our main dishes finally arrived, the presentation was poor and the portions were noticeably smaller than what we've experienced before. While there may have been issues with the previous head chef, one thing that was always consistent was the quality and execution coming out of the kitchen--and that consistency is now gone. We truly hope that the GM or someone within the organization takes the time to read this and make the necessary changes, because this place used to be something special. Prev Review ; Nice place for breakfast but some of the waitress need some training. The chef and team are always on point.

My husband visited today 4/23/2026 and said the food was good, but his experience with 1 particular staff was uncomfortable and unwelcoming. On her way I'm going inside, a woman approached him rudely in a way that made him feel like he didn't belong there. She didn't greet him or anything. After he had already ordered his food and paid for it, he was sitting outside waiting , she approached him with an attitude and said "Do you need a menu or something, or are you just hanging out?" As if he wasn't supposed to be there. This was completely unnecessary and made him feel disrespected. I later called to speak with a manager about the situation. The woman who answered was unhelpful and unprofessional. She questioned who I was, refused to clearly identify herself at first, and would not let me speak to a manager. She even told me to come so she could meet me and I didn't understand that at all. She then hung up on me. When I called back, she ignored my call, but answered when I used a different phone. At that point, she said she would put me on hold so she could tell her side of the story to the manager first before letting me speak, which is not how customer concerns should be handled. Overall, while the food may be decent, the customer service was extremely poor and needs serious improvement. No customer should be made to feel uncomfortable or dismissed like this.
