I've never had this pizza before, so I tried it today. It is basically a papa John's type pizza. I ordered and then waited for the pizza. It was ready really quickly, and the pizza was piping hot. Tables inside needed a wipe down, but I wasn't eating inside. I took it home. I asked for the special I heard about in a TV ad being a large pepperoni pizza for 9.99. But the only special they had was a 12.99 2 topping large pizza. So that's what I ordered. read more

It was a solid, good pizza chain pizza. Reminded me a little bit of the Pizza Hut pan pizza as far as the flavor. Oddly, it was better eaten cold the next day rather than reheated in a toaster oven. read more

Marcos pizza in Port Charlotte has the best service out of all of their locations. Eliana the employee that helped me was kind, courteous, and very efficient. Their pizza is great but the app sucks ba11$. You click "I'm here" for them to bring out your pizza. And it does NOT alert them!! You wait 10 min while your pizza gets cold, only to keep sitting there wasting your money for cold pizza. Normally I run in and pick up the pizza instead of waiting for them to bring it out. But this time I selected curbside pickup since I was coming straight from the emergency vet with my dog. She was in pain and not feeling well. Didn't want to leave her in the car alone even to run in to get the pizza. This is the second time I tried curbside pickup with their new app. And neither time worked! Both times it said that the store was notified that I was there at the curb. I waited a few minutes then tried to do the "let them know I'm here" button. And the app said "the store was already notified" (but they clearly didn't get the message). Super frustrating if you have dogs or kids in the car and you don't want to leave them because the app isn't working. Fix the app!!!!! It's super misleading and makes people think you're actually going to do curbside delivery (like you ordered). It's been months since they released the new app, and it's STILL not fixed. I let them know last time it wasn't working. And again this second time. I doubt they will do anything to fix it. Fell on deaf ears last time, and the girl at the front just brushed it off when I told her the app isn't working. She seemed like she could care less. read more

DANIELS SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!!! CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!!! Delivery driver forgot my soda and said he would bring it back. He never did , but the manager, Daniel said he would comp my next pizza (which would be excellent customer service.) When I called to get the pizza a couple days later, Daniel said he wouldn't do it, nor would he return my money. So we recently moved to PC from the Coconut Creek/ Coral Springs area on the other coast in Broward. We frequently had Marcos pizza bowls in the Coral Springs locations because they fit our keto way of eating. It's a nice treat to have a dish similar to pizza without having to order a pizza and just eat toppings. Eating just toppings always feels so wasteful. When we saw a local Marcos, we were excited. Today we got a pizza bowl and I can attest, all locations are not the same. In the other location, it's treated as a meal- almost meat and cheese casserole like. At this PC location, we got a thin layer of sauce and the exact look of a pizza topping except a much smaller amount. Where at the other location there was easily enough for 2, this didn't even satisfy 1 person. And the taste was off. Seemed like it was overcooked. Would not recommend this location at all. It's unfortunate but they do not take the same care in preparation as other locations. read more

When you can hold your pizza like a saltine cracker... there's something up. Please see the picture attached. Apparently this is not a BURNT pizza, instead it is simply *thin crust*. And according to the RUDE employees, it was only a "slightly" darker than normal. They refused to apologize, spoke very condescendingly, & didn't even offer to fix the problem until WE ASKED. My father picked up the pizza and trusting that a cheese pizza would be done correctly didn't open the box (we know now). He dropped it off, & we opened the box to find burnt cheese on burnt crust, more like a cracker. When we called and told them about it they were like ok.. & that's about it. So we asked if we could get a new one & they basically gave us the run around, standing their ground saying that when the pizza was put in the box it wasn't burnt only slightly darker (this is the guy who put it in the box apparently) finally they said that my dad needed to come pick up the pizza from our house to bring it to them and then they'll observe it, & then give him a new one. Mind you , it wasn't until we asked if something could be done. Their original response was "ok.." when we said the pizza was burnt. At this point he was already rude and saying he didn't understand what we wanted. I offered to show him a picture (my dad was willing to go back but wasn't able to pass by our house again) & he said it wasn't necessary because he put it in himself so he KNOWS it wasn't burnt. Regardless of the half-chocked offer, who would want anything from these people after being treated so rudely and basically disregarding the FACTS about the pizza. I don't recommend this nasty service or the pizza. Not one apology. Just excuses and attitude. Obviously they don't know how to make it (which is it really that difficult?) but when you get D level employees your product will be affected. So thumbs down for the pizza but more specifically and especially to the employees. If you hate your job, get a new one. read more

2 pizzas and and breadsticks were available for pick up in under 25 minutes. Pizza was correct, had plenty of toppings and flavor was good. The crustless pizza is a favorite of my dad. The cheese sticks were so thick that there were burnt edges while still having some barely done middles. They honored 2 online specials in one order, no other place allowed that. A male member of the staff was talking very loudly about a female staff member who was not there. He cursed in every sentence. He talked as though he were in charge. It was a non-stop obscene tirade that was impossible to ignore. When a young woman brought my pizza, I said "It must be hard to listen to that all day." My wife ordered a medium pizza and 15 wings. I went to pick them up without knowing the price. Upon being presented with the check I objected the price of the wings. They were $19.99 instead of the $10.99 that was posted above the cashiers head. I said I did not want them and said they should change the sign. A cook in the back came out and said that was the price and that I should be aware of the nation wide shortage. I asked for a refund, they told me it would show up in 3 or 4 days. We call back and they state order is in the oven. It will be out soon. 30 more min we call back and the order has still not left. Manager states " It is what it is sir". That's their response. I'm still hitting this Port Charlotte Marco's off Quesada and Cochran. We have a new "usual". A large Deluxe Uno, and a family size Caesar chicken salad. Just order it fresh. It was DELICIOUS!! The staff are all teenagers who actually have great attitudes and are very pleasant. Fast pick up time. Close to home. Try it. We've NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED! I'm not in New York but every now and then will thank God for blessing me to be from there and giving me the ability to know what good Italian pizza tastes like. You will not, under any circumstances, find it at a chain pizza place. First rule of pizza fight club is to stay away from chains. I now graciously cede the point that Marco's is the flavorful exception to this long standing rule. Dad suggested pizza the other night because why cook when we can order in and continue the delightful conversations that never end when we get together. I realize we could talk and slave over a hot stove but food prep really interferes with my pool time. He highly recommended Marco's and off we went for a favorite pepperoni and pineapple pie. The short trip back to the casa had my mouth watering at the smell and I wrote it off to just being hungry. The first bite I was in love! The sauce was zesty and the cheese held lots of pepperoni and pineapple in every bite. The crust was substantial but not over powering and I loved that the pie was uniformly crafted and not so thin in the middle that it fell apart. But the grease....oh man! A perfect slice in NY can be folded at the crust and eaten so the grease mixes in with the toppings and you just enjoy the crap out of eating so unhealthily. I liked it so much we went back last night and I have to give a shoutout to John who much appreciated what I had to say about their offerings and even gave us a discount. I'd be back just because it's good but Dad will be back because price is important to retirees. read more

Great Pizza! We have tried Pioneer's, Jet's, Father and Sons, & Bella Napoli. Hands down, Marco's was the best, and the best priced. We got the hand tossed, large cheese pizza. Ready in 20 minutes. Very filling. Good sauce, and plenty of cheese. Crust was very good and chewy. The two of us only ate half of it. Give this place a try. I think you will like it. They also have a thin crust pizza, but I think we will stick with the hand tossed. This could become a regular Friday night take out. read more

We used to come in every Friday. We got a letter from Joey the store owner asking why we haven't been in. My response? The pizza is delicious but the staff NEVER has our orders ready when they are supposed to be ready and most times the pizza hasn't even gone into the oven yet! We end up waiting in store another 20 minutes for our order. This is unacceptable!! We gave your staff another chance tonight and AGAIN were disappointed in the untimely service. Not my first Marcos order, pizza is usually good. This location made it properly, delivered it quickly, but for some reason just saturated it with oil... it would have been great if not for this. If you like oil all over the dough, go for it... otherwise maybe just as them to hold the added oil and you will get a great pizza. read more

Ordered delivery online, received within time frame. had already signed for and gave cash tip to driver, realized the order was wrong, said this is not what I ordered, she said you ordered online I don't know what you f@@@@ ordered. I then told her to take it back and give back the signed cc slip and tip she then got very nasty said she would not give back the signed receipt or cash. I grabbed it out of her hands, she then continued yelling obscenities at me. Called to tell the store to credit my cc, was told the manager is right here will put you on with him . Then came back and said the manager is out on a delivery. Checked the cc they charged me, credited and then charged again. NEVER AGAIN!!! They need to train their employees not to curse at customers.
