We had an all day excursion the 2nd day (on the other side of the lake) so couldn't pack up and move until later that day, 6:30pm. After many calls from Oscar and Morgan, it was decided that we would get a refund. How much was never discussed in writing and we would have been ok with a 2 day refund since we had stayed late on the 2nd day. We spent hours discussing and looking for an air bnb, which took time out of our vacation. We found a place and packed up and left. The next day, we received a message from Oscar that he was NOT refunding anything! Dealing with Oscar was a nightmare. He was the rudest OWNER of a business catering to travelers that I've ever encountered. He simply didn't care! Please read lots of reviews before booking this place! There are many unhappy people who have been staying there for years saying that the place has really gone downhill.

He first offered a full refund. He then reneged and offered 50% to which was NOT right since we stayed only ONE night out of the four. We NEVER demanded a FULL refund but once offered, yes, we did accept since the entire resort was falsely advertised and we had to pay to stay somewhere else! His response that we were unable to reach an agreement is a TOTAL lie and I have the email and text from Oscar offering the refund. He reneged on it after we moved off the premises. If Oscar was so "sorry" as he states below, why wouldn't he have refunded us as he offered in writing? He's a liar, scam artist, and immoral person in general to do that to anyone!
