The amenities that they are touting are not there. Much to our surprise when we went to the "restaurant" for dinner, they ONLY have pizza! The only guy working in there said that the person who made all of the other food had quit...only pizza available. Yet they are still advertising that they have a diverse menu of food! We inquired about renting jet skis and paddle boards at the boathouse. Nope, none of that available! The reasoning was something about their boating insurance being canceled. Not sure why they even have a boathouse! We had booked for 4 nights. Stayed the first night while we decided what to do because this wasn't going to work. We had an all day excursion the 2nd day (on the other side of the lake) so couldn't pack up and move until later that day, 6:30pm. After many calls from Oscar and Morgan, it was decided that we would get a refund. How much was never discussed in writing and we would have been ok with a 2 day refund since we had stayed late on the 2nd day. We spent hours discussing and looking for an air bnb, which took time out of our vacation. We found a place and packed up and left. The next day, we received a message from Oscar that he was NOT refunding anything! Dealing with Oscar was a nightmare. He was the rudest OWNER of a business catering to travelers that I've ever encountered. He simply didn't care! Please read lots of reviews before booking this place! There are many unhappy people who have been staying there for years saying that the place has really gone downhill.

His response that we were unable to reach an agreement is a TOTAL lie and I have the email and text from Oscar offering the refund. He reneged on it after we moved off the premises. If Oscar was so "sorry" as he states below, why wouldn't he have refunded us as he offered in writing? He's a liar, scam artist, and immoral person in general to do that to anyone!
