Great service and solid food overall. The pizza was good, though there was a bit too much pepperoni, which overpowered the other flavors. The meatball sub was decent as well. The margarita pizza stood out and was definitely the better choice. It's a fun spot to grab a few drinks, and I'll most likely be back the next time I'm at the lake. Came in with my family of 4 today. Was greeted instantly by Donna. She's very talkative and inviting. Made the experience even better. We ordered 2 pizzas and a smash burger. Everything was delicious and fresh. I told Donna that we lived close to Chicago so it's hard to impress us with a pizza but this place did impress all of us. I really liked our experience at Casablanca. It was recommended by a local. The place is small, but they were playing great music and had interesting décor to look at. On a Monday night, nearly every seat was taken, which says a lot because many of the other restaurants on the strip were nearly empty. There were only 2 people working, one of which was managing bar orders, so they had their hands full. Had the Ruben and it was awesome. A bit thin on the meat but tasty. Service was fantastic and then "north woods" tavern feel made it a great stop for lunch. Donna our server was Excellent. She had so many great qualities that her alone I give 5 stars! Food was great til we got to the end. We talked & she apologized profusely for someone else's error. We like going to Casablanca for pizza. Last night we decided to take our party of 7. The upstairs tables were full so we went downstairs. We ordered drinks as we waited for a table that advised us they were about to leave. When the patrons left we tried to squeeze all of us in the table (which sat 6). A man at a table in the back waved us back that could seat more people and said they were leaving. Our party went back to that table and the waitress (Gretchen) told us we couldn't sit there. We told her that half of us would go sit at the other table. She was so rude and started arguing with us. Then she asked if we wanted menus and we told her no we would just go somewhere else. She said FINE, your drinks have already been paid for so leave. As we went upstairs we found they had a table available and the waitress that we usually have was there (Darianne) she is the best. We decided to stay since she was serving us. As we were eating a few guys came upstairs and we heard them telling our waitress what a Bit$h the waitress was downstairs. They also stayed after talking with Darianne. Not sure much will be done to Gretchen because her dad is the manager of the restaurant. We have been going here for years and hope to never have another encounter with Gretchen the grouch. read more

Go to for me when I visit the lake. Cant go wrong. Its conveniently located on the Strip. The pizza is my go to dish here. They have a pizzeria in the basement. Comes out hot, crisp, and full of flavor. They also have a full bar menu up stairs for great cheeseburgers and other bar food. The bar tender was great, never let a drink get empty. My visit was in the off season recently. In the summer time this place can get a little crazy. read more

I'll be honest I have eaten pizza across the street many times at another restaurant. A neighbor of mine at my condo told me I had to try this place for the best pizza at the lake. If you love thin crispy crust, with homemade ingredients, and a flavorful 5 cheese blend topping - this is for you! This is now in the top 5 best pizza list for me I have had all time! It was so good. Hard to get a spot in this joint, not much seating - but once you do, you will love the service, speed, decently priced drinks and overall experience! We were there for some live music too but had to sit in the basement. We could still hear the artist but which we could have seen him perform. Loved their side salad to start and pizza was filling and a great value. We will be back for sure to share this with our family and friends! Yep, we're still fans of the pizza here. We had a large Jordanmeister and a medium saus/pepp for five hungry drunks and it was more than we could eat. The Jordanmeister is one of the best "meatlovers" type of pizzas around. It's definitely not on the weightwatcher's plan, but not many pizzas are, It's also quite salty, I noticed. Will we be back? Visited Casablanca on Wednesday at 3:30 pm during the shootout boat event on the strip. Only ONE bartender was on duty, no waitresses. We went to bar to get our drinks and serve ourselves. We were planning to order food but told by the bartender we would have to wait as she would have help coming in at 4 and "we weren't the only ones not being served!" at which time we left and probably will never return, even though we are full timers at the lake and used to frequent CB on a very regular basis. Someone certainly dropped the ball by not scheduling help for one of the busiest weekends of the season. read more

While the food was good it wasn't the best Pizza at the lake and completely not worth the 90 minute wait we had to get it after it was ordered. The restaurant was not full either. I recommend Pappos instead and leave this place for as a bar on the strip. read more

Read if you want a laugh. I'm from Mizzou and some friends and I headed down to the lake for Memorial Day. We wanted to get food on the strip and decided for pizza. Upon getting there, the place was busy but we got a server. She was slurring her words and made no sense. We ordered drinks and she never brought them after I asked her 4 times, so we had to go to the bartender. When the server took our order, she just wrote down a bunch of scribbles and came up to our table to ask us again what we ordered. We offered to just write it down since she was not coherent but she insisted on attempting to write it down. The bartender, a male, was super friendly and working hard to get the place running. There was a loud customer at the bar swearing and saying inappropriate things on the phone while children were in the restaurant, so he asked her to take her call outside. She started yelling at him, so he asked her to leave. When she wouldn't, he took her purse so she would get out. She then punched him in the face and he called the police as she threatened to take out a weapon. Finally, we get our food after already being given (the wrong) check before we even got our food. We refused to pay until we were given our pizza. Well, good thing because when we got our pizza an hour later it was in a giant pile and the server was picking the pieces in front of us and rearranging the pizza. She told us she fell and dropped our pizza but it was ok and she would discount it. I told the bartender that we just did not want the pizza and we just wanted to leave. The server got angry at us and started yelling (in a slurring her words stupor). She was very obviously on drugs or drunk. I can't believe she wasn't sent home. It's a shame because the pizza looked delicious and the bartender was having a really hard day. Anyways, the food did look good, but it was definitely a chaotic atmosphere. The weirdest part was the server was very unapologetic and didn't think she was doing anything wrong or that there was anything wrong with serving us that pizza. Visited here during Mother's Day weekend with my best friend and our daughters.... Had the best experience. They had a hiccup with service and we came for the pizza (amazing) and they were completely honest with us about a long wait time.. we were 100% okay with that and happy to order anyway and to our luck we got the pizza early and everything else we wanted because they called in extra help.
