super cute home town bar feel with GLUTEN FREE options! We love Pappos pizza! they have many options and a VERY wide variety of pizzas. we always get their italian salad which is a sweet italian dressing that is unique but amazing! i ordered the cauliflower crust buffalo chicken pizza. i will say i had to order buffalo sauce on the side as i like my buffalo chicken pizza to have an extra kick and without it its just not spicy enough for me. My husband ordered the sicilian pizza hand tossed and reports it was the perfect little kick to an italian style pizza. they are super kid friendly and brought pizza dough to the table for my kids to play with while waiting for food! read more

I love this place, and I just realized they do take and bake! That's so nice for when you're not exactly sure when you're going to eat. I ordered a thin veggie no oregano and with a little prep it rocked! I called and the man I spoke to was very nice in explaining how to make it crispy. I ordered carryout from Pappo's during a recent trip to the Lake for work. My colleague and I sat at the bar while were were waiting for our supreme (they had a different name) to be made. We both enjoyed excellent drinks (Manhattan and espresso martini) and great service while we waited. The pizza was outstanding and perfect for a Netflix and couch night back at our AirBnB. The ambiance of the restaurant is what I would expect from a pizza place. It was a bit dim and cozy and smelled so yummy! High recommend Pappo's! read more

What a turn around from the last delivery experience we had with this pizza slingin' gem. Pappo's Pizzeria and Pub is a Osage Beach staple! It was a Friday in July and we were worn down from a day in the sun, not really wanting to cook. I'm a sucker for breadsticks-- and while they were no frills, they did not disappoint! 10/10 would order those again. The cheese and pepperoni pizzas were freshly made and the crust was perfection. Pricing is standard (though I'd say a bit steep)-- ordering was no problem and unlike our last experience, the delivery time was short. No complaints! We will snag Pappo's again when we are in the area. read more

We were down at the lake for the weekend decided to stop in for lunch. Their pizza selections were off the chain. We had Katie as a server and she was awesome! Friendly and attentive and she really made it more fun to be there. Her recommendation of the fresh baked cookies was very well received and greatly appreciated. read more

This place was AWESOME! We are traveling and wanted some food and came across this place. We ordered wings, pizza & the crostini and they were all delicious. We came with someone gluten free and they said it was the best GF crust they have had. We also caved and got the fresh baked cookies and they were also amazing. Gooey and warm but also crispy on the outside. It was clean inside and nice and cool. Our waitress was sooooo nice. She would double check on things she wasn't sure about and made sure our order was perfect. She was super helpful and very attentive. I wish we were locals to come here often. Very busy place. We had seven and there was no room so we ordered to go. Gluten free options for our celiac. The gluten free pizza was awesome. We ordered two other pizzas and they were loaded with ingredients. We did hand tossed. Parking was tricky so take it slow. Service was good but they forgot to text us that our pizzas were ready. The pizza is always fresh and the non traditional selection is amazing. Love the pizza dough for the kids to play with while you wait for your food!! The cost between sizes of pizza sizes is minimal, better to share a large, or you will break the bank if you order individually!! We absolutely loved Pappo's pizzeria. When we got there, they gave my daughter a ball of dough to play with while we waited for our order. The appetizer tomato mozzarella crustini was absolutely amazing and one of the best things I've ever tasted. I like to try places I'm not familiar with when out of town so on a girls bachelorette weekend after a day of enjoying the lake we ordered a variety of pizzas from Pappo's. Placing the order online was so easy. The variety of specialty pizzas made it difficult to pick which ones we wanted to try even for a large order for 21 people. We tried the steakhouse, Hawaiian, shrimp scampi, spinach ricotta, white pizza, meatball, plus the standards of pepperoni and cheese. All of them were hand tossed and absolutely delicious. The crust was crisp. The toppings were plentiful and I was very happy to learn there was a location just over the river from STL in Fairview Heights. We had the Big Island Hawaiian Pizza. Ordered the medium for two of us and it was the perfect size. The crust was really good and the marinated pineapple was delicious. Service was good, wasn't too busy as we arrived for a late lunch. Parking wasn't great as it was located in the back. This pizza was so delicious!! This pizza tasted so fresh and was so delicious. However, the service wasn't that great. They forgot our creme with the Mexican pizza, and were much later on pick up time than they said. They weren't necessarily rude, but definitely weren't friendly. This pizza place has great energy and it feels (and smells) like an old style pizza joint. We always experience excellent service and the restaurant is comfortable inside with lots of seating.
