Love this place. We go by boat and bring the dogs. Everything has been very good each visit. We like the dry rub and garlic parm wings. My new go to is the Birria tacos. It's a lot of food especially after a few wings. Three corn tortilla tacos stuffed with I believe it was shredded beef and some type of Mexican cheese. Served with a really good au jus type sauce and another cold sauce, maybe mango salsa? It's well worth the price and you probably have a full taco left over for lunch the next day.its covered open-air seating with several TVs above the bar and some games to play in the coveted patio open space. They have a stage so I'm sure there is music in the evening but we usually go for lunch or early dinner. Great view out to the water and plenty of parking slips for boats. Boating to Lake House 13 is always a must when we are out in the Ozarks! We were so excited to visit again this past weekend (Sunday July 27, 2025). Sadly, it was by far the most disappointing dining experience of all the times we have visited. At this most recent visit, we noticed there were not that many customers sitting inside or outside. Even though it was super hot and humid, we still opted for an outdoor table to get the full lakeside experience! Instant regret because we were all dying from dehydration and getting just water took painfully long. Our server was apologetic though so no big deal. Now onto the food. We always start with an order of cheese curds because how can you not! For my entree, I was really craving a salad. I was debating between the House salad and the Greek salad but ultimately decided on the Greek solely because the latter came with chickpeas and artichokes! Yum! We shouldn't have been surprised that the food also took forever to come out...but we were.. because again we always had good experiences.. Cheese curds came out crispy and heavenly so no complaints there! But my buddha my poor salad. The greens were overdressed and there was not a chickpea or artichoke in sight! Hello chickpea artichoke where are you?! I really didn't want to complain but it was an expensive salad so we ended up letting our server know just so she can inform the chef that some key ingredients were missing just as an FYI. Well our server later informs us that the chef didn't forget the ingredients, they just ran out but didn't bother telling anyone????? I don't know bro but that's just messed up. Especially when you still end up serving a tiny portion with missing ingredients. Food and service average at best. Figured a burger would be a good choice as they claimed "signature Burgers". Well...it was over cooked, dried out, no flavor, just bland. The Fries were cold and beer warm. Also ordered a side salad did not get it till after my burger was severed. Maybe an off day but will be hard to give a second try. read more

Carbonara this good at a lakeside restaurant in Sunrise Beach? You've got to be kidding me! A salad that is fresh and crispy for starters. I was impressed and still am two days later! The place had some locals and one had his dog (who looked bored) sitting at the bar. How great is that?! The decor is truly "lake like", except for the fact that the waitress (Marcie) actually waited on you and came back to check on us. She didn't even call me "Honey". Bartenders and wait staff were dressed in swim suits with bottoms hanging out, for our young children to ogle. The music was loud and explicit. Our server said that this environment was typical after 8:30 or 9pm, however this was 5:30pm on Memorial Day weekend. Fantastic house wings! Went to watch a chiefs game and sat outside. Perfect place to watch football either all the outdoor (and indoor) TVs. Outside is plenty of heaters on a cooler day. Wait staff was very attentive. Had a Bloody Mary that was packed with protein goodies. Good pours and was an appetizer in itself. Not only did the waitress try to flirt with my boyfriend, ask him what college he goes to, and tried guessing what sport he plays, but she also wouldn't sell him alcohol bc he don't look 25 bc he was smiling and she has had a fake id so "she knows when someone has one". Stopped into Lake House 13 for Father's Day brunch. We were seated right away outside and they were busy on a Sunday morning. I was pleasantly surprised with the food all of the food was great especially the breakfast pizza. The one thing I was disappointed in was how long it took to get our food. I started looking around and there were multiple parties in our same position. The server apologized multiple times but it seemed like this was happening to multiple parties. They have a new chef so it seems like they are still working out some issues behind the kitchen. The food is great but be prepared to wait for your food. On spring break, we wanted to go somewhere nearby for dinner. We decided on Lakehouse 13 as it was the closest option for us. We had to go after sunset and the restaurant hours are 4pm-12am, so we thought this would be perfect. We arrived at 7pm, and there was a car leaving as we were pulling into the parking lot. However, when we went inside, the restaurant was completely empty. It was snowing, so definitely not ideal weather to go out to eat. Our server was Elijah, and he was great! He was very attentive and patient but did not rush us. There was another girl with pink hair who was super helpful and nice too! However, there was a woman walking around who made a few offhand comments to us that just made us uncomfortable. It seemed like she wanted us gone or was just bothered we were there. I know it can be frustrating to just have one table in the restaurant, but we came 5 hours before close and she was not our server. Couple issues included NOT omitting jalapeños on nachos and NOT omitting onions on a burger. They were out of chicken and it was only 1:00pm. They were out of egg rolls when we asked for them. She neglected to tell us they were going to make more. Menu states they have Surfside drinks. They do not. Menu also said they have Happy Hour everyday from 2pm to 5pm. When I asked where our discount was, she said Oh we don't honor Happy Hour on Memorial Day weekend. Maybe that's something you should tell your table. The food was fresh and quality. The parmesan sea salt fries were one of the saltiest things I've ever eaten in a restaurant--and I oversalt almost everything. That said, they were pretty good. The Damn Hot was hot, but not that hot which left me a little disappointed. Probably the biggest thing was the signature cocktail that I ordered. They were super busy so maybe the bartender just forgot to put the alcohol in it, but I ordered a double happy hour vodka and poured it in myself which made it about the right amount of alcohol for a drink that size. We have eaten at almost every lakefront restaurant over the past several years, and I think this is the best meal we have had on the lake. We had to wait a long time for our food, but the waitress checked in and made sure everything was fine and brought more drinks. When the food came, everything was hot. I had the black and bleu burger, and it was really good. The fries were seasoned. Compared with a lot of other lakefront restaurants, Lake House 13 is very clean. And the best part: my teenage son has been on a quest for a brownie sundae all week, and Lake House 13 delivered! We will be back. read more

Great local bar/food place in the middle of nowhere. Great place to catch a Chief's game. We were immediately welcomed with a big hug by a woman! So be prepared to interact with friendly people. On 5-27-24 4 friends and I dined-in about 1:00 PM and where seated and told it would be about an hour for food. We agreed to eat and waited about 10 minutes for a waitress. Ordered a round of drinks and ordered meals and appetizers. Asked if appetizer would be a wait and was told about 20 minutes and agreed. After 3 request for our appetizers and many rounds of drinks we were served the appetizers two minutes before our meals were served about 1and half hours after we ordered. Meals were COLD and after we finished paid $200 & tip 20%. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he could not be found. On 5-28-24 I called and asked to speak to the manager to voice a complaint I was told he was not in.
