We were distressed, didn't quite know what to do with our smashed camper van in the middle of nowhere with all of our belongings inside it and home 600 miles away. The tow truck not only delivered our van - and us - to Fix Auto in The Dalles, but they provided us with the information to find a vehicle to get us and our belongings home. There was an Enterprise, but they don't have one-way rentals, which didn't do us any good and I was starting to freak out. The driver contacted dispatch and they said there was a U-Haul in town. Perfect! It was overkill, all we really needed was a station wagon or a minivan, but we ended up with their smallest available vehicle, a 10-foot boxvan And we're grateful to have it. And bonus is that U-Haul sells packing boxes so we bought a bunch of those so we could unload our van and gET home.. Very grateful for everyone involved in this, but Simco gets bonus points for coming up with a workable idea for getting us home with our stuff! Thank You!

I called Micah and spoke with him about my situation and told him I was going to call AAA and call him back. After I spoke to AAA I found out I was not covered in my own mother's vehicle. Before I could decide what to do next I saw Micah pulling up in his truck to help me. I was surprised and relieved to see help in my rearview mirror. To make a long story short Micah drive me to two locations to rent a rental truck and trailer to tow the vehicle and then helped me load the car into the trailer ( I couldn't have done it without him). He barely charged me for the whole mess and was a real pleasure to be around especially in such a bad predicament. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MICAH if you ever need help with any sort of breakdown situation. He's a decent guy who's heart isn't filled with greed. Rather he's a straight shooter who actually cares about his business and more importantly other human beings. They don't have enough stars for this guy

1 star only because I have to.I PROMISE TO GOD it is your worst interest to choose this tow company…read morefor your needs...ESPECIALLY if it's a tow.On October 9th I requested roadside assistance threw my aaa because my 2005 audi a8l quattro was over heating really bad and I needed a tow.I had a friend come meet me and wait with me.The tow truck driver Contacted me and informed me he was on his way.I was watching on the tracker threw my aaa app and watched him turn around and head the opposite direction when he was only 0.4 miles away I contacted him to see what was going on and he said aaa dispatched him and told him he needed to go to Biggs junction for a priority supposively an elderly lady was locked out of her car and needed her medication inside.If true understandable.Two hours later he shows up and him and some girl get out of the tow truck she was clearly intoxicated the driver then states that I don't need to wait for him I can head to destination.An hour and a half after I arrive to destination he shows up at this time I noticed he in fact had two people with him.In the midst of him preparing to get my car off of the ramp I hear the girl in the truck laughing and asking him how she is supposed to get out and he says "climb over the seat" while laughing.The driver begins lowering my car and it popped off of the hook he didn't secure and began smashing down the ramp at full speed because he did not put emergency brake on the guy that was with him had to jump in my vehicle to hit the brakes but not before the speed of my car rolling and the impact of it bottoming out ripped my entire front bumper off of my car.Mind you it's an oem bumper discontinued and behind it are many important features of my car such as distance sensors parking sensor impact breaker bar radiator wiring harness for sun roof etc ..ALL EITHER SNAPPED OR BENT.The owner of the company cane and looked at it with her "personal auto body mechanic" and instantly wanted to focus on prior damage that was done in 2019 caused by a fender bender.Very minoot damage .She must have did a carfax on my car to learn about it because you sure couldn't tell by looking at it plus it was the very first thing she said. I OFFERED TO SHOW HER PICTURES OF MY CAR PRIOR BUT SHE DECLINED TO LOOK AT THEM.long story short the owner seriously has no business running a business she offered me a check for $500 dollars because she claimed she couldn't find a replacement bumper when I declined her offer she suddenly had found one for $238 dollars she said she could order.SERIOUSLY MAKES ME WANT TO PUKE IN MY OWN MOUTH.I sent her before and after pictures and a request for only a portion of the estimate I received to fix and or replace everything damaged due to her driver negligence.$3800 and the estimate I got wS 5326 and she continues to try and go around it.This place is the epidamy of BAD BUSINESS.WRECKLES NEGLIGENT CARELESS AND A STRAIT RIP OFF DO NOT DO IT CALL SOMEONE ELSE

Every thing was closed so I decided to spend the night at a local motel in The Dalles. OR. I got up the next morning and made my way up to Goldendale. WA and stopped in to Les Schwab's to see if they could fix my flat. This location opens its doors at 8 am. They greeted me quickly and got to work on my tire. I waited for about 30 minutes and the boys had it ready to go. They called me up to the counter and to my surprise they told me I didn't owe them anything. I asked why there was no charge and assured them I had not purchased the tires from Les Schwab's. I was told it was there way of trying to get my business in the future. I left very impressed with their free flat tire repair services and informed them Les Schwab's had earned my tire business in the future .

Pulling up the grade on the WA side on hwy 97, our check engine light came on and we had…read moresignificant loss of power. We limped along to Goldendale on a wing and (literal) prayer and went to the closest mechanic we could find, which was Goldendale Exhaust and Auto Repair. Though it was early afternoon on a Friday and Jason was already busy in the shop, he immediately addressed our engine troubles. Seeing that we were headed out on family vacation and were in an unfamiliar area, Esther gave us a ride to a local restaurant (great recommendation, Esther!). Jason worked on our vehicle and quickly performed a thorough and reasonably priced repair and gave a complete explanation when he was finished. After eating, we wandered around downtown and met several friendly business owners and honestly enjoyed the detour. What looked like it was going to be an overnight stay in Goldendale turned out to be just a few hours thanks to Goldendale Exhaust's Jason and Esther. They and their service were terrific!

After determining that no other glass company would either, we decided that we would drive to their location. 3 phone calls and 1 day later, somebody finally answered the phone. I said that we would bring the truck in. The guy on the phone said he was "too old and fat" to do the repair on our truck.
