Window Tint King - Looking out of the office into our parking lot when the snow started following last Wednesday.

So with Summer weather knocking on the door I thought it would be a good time to tint the truck…read morewindows. Browsed Yelp's section of auto window tinting and zeroed in on Window Tint King. Not only did they have good reviews on Yelp but they also had good reviews on Google too so I used Yelp's messaging system to reach out about getting an appointment. Bob responded pretty quickly however don't do what I did and wait till the last minute try to get an appointment. I had a date in my head which would have worked out with the curing process since I was going out of town and wouldn't need my truck buuuuut I waited till the last minute and he was all booked up. I ended up making an appointment for the following week. So the shop is really easy to get too and there's plenty of parking. The office has a chair with a TV so if you plan on waiting there at least you have something to pass the time with. Bob is also an awesome guy and he's super cool. We talked about what I wanted for tint and how dark I wanted to go. Since my truck has privacy glass we decided to go 20% in the front and 35% in the rear. It took around 2.5 hours for 5 windows and it looks awesome. Anyone looking to get their windows tinted would be dumb to not come here. You'll get treated good here and get an awesome looking tint job for a really good price.

Came back 3 years later for my next car! Bob got me in within a week and it only took and hour and…read morehalf. I did pay a little to upgrade to the ceramic film but the heat resistance was well worth it. The job is so clean and well done I couldn't have asked for me. They were also very thankful and vocal about me being a return customer. Thank you team for taking such great care of me on my new Outback. Front two window with high quality job was around 250. Their new location in Wood Village is also just down the hill from a great bakery/coffee shop that is very nice and modern to relax in.

I have lived many places and this is by far the worst trash, recycle, garbage service I have ever…read moreexperienced. And it's our only choice. How insane is that?? The customer service is despicable. From the guys in the truck to the people in the office that answer the phones, they don't give a two shitz about your concern. If I could give it zero stars I would. We are new to town and to think we don't have another option is ridiculous. They obviously know that and take advantage. I hate this company with a passion and I don't use the word hate.

When I lived in Bend, life was easy. If you needed to recycle your old engine oil, no problem!…read more There were several local auto parts stores that would allow you to drop off your oil for free. One, Baxter Auto Parts, even had a 55 gallon drum in the back and you could drain your oil yourself at anytime of the day. When I loved to Hood River, things got complicated. I went to every auto parts store and oil change place. Surely someone would take my used oil?! I was told by several people that our friendly, local recycling people would take it. Just make sure it's in clear plastic containers they said! So, that's what I did. I had a lot of oil to recyle by this point. I filled up one milk jug, an orange juice conatiner, and a 2.5 gallon DEF container and put it out by the curb with my recycling. And when I got home, of course I got a nasty-gram stating they couldn't take all my oil. I was fed bad information. Not only does your oil need to be in clear plastic jugs, but it also need to be in ONE GALLON jugs. I have no idea why this would be, but them's is the rules. I swear, they are the most overpriced and picky garbage service in existance! I wish we had competition in this town like larger cities in terms of our garabge service. They monopoly they have with poor service and high prices has got to go!
