No signs in the Albertsons/Kei Concepts lot with Vox, Ini, etc. that say you can't park there for a prolonged period of time. I had my car there, ate dinner in the plaza, and carpooled to get drinks elsewhere. When I returned hours later, the entire lot was fenced off. There was no sign saying who towed my car or when it happened. I had to call the Police department for information. It was nearly 500 bucks to get the car back. Such a scam. read more

Our vehicle was towed by Joe's Towing while we were dining at a ramen restaurant. We are paying customers and the signs posted said we had to be customers to be able to park there. We explained that we were legitimate customers and even told the Joes staff that we can show our receipt, but the staff refused to listen or assist us. We were charged $377 to retrieve our car and were met with extremely rude, unprofessional, and arrogant behavior throughout the process. This experience was incredibly disappointing and felt unfair. Only reviewing because I see the low reviews. The worker made the process really simple and easy. I was able to pick up my car within 10 mins of arriving to the location with my DL. He even broke down the prices and gave me an itemized receipt. They also have price breakdown for every city around the area of where they had to tow your car. Some cities are way more expensive than others with even having a city fee, like Irvine. Not his fault my car got towed, and he was really nice about it. Joe's Towing company towed my car while I was eating at a ramen place. We started at Slurpin Ramen which was amazing, then we went to The Cauldron which was across the street and then we came back to Slurpin Ramen to get some dessert and drinks. Are cars were still in the parking lot by the time we got back to the ramen place because I had to grab my jacket from the car because it was cold. The security thought we left the area so they decided to tow my car and my two other friend's car. We didn't notice anything until we left the ramen place to find out that our car was gone. They keep accusing us of going to Knott's but we didn't. My religion is against Knott's scary farm, plus I hate scary stuff so I don't know why the staff kept accusing us of going. came to pick up my friend's car late at night, but he said he wouldn't release their car until tomorrow. flashed his bright flashlight at us which is not a problem while we were leaving. however, he starting flashing it on and off while I was reversing my car out of the driveway. I saw the sign saying "no swap meet parking" I didn't think much of it since I wasn't going to the swap meet, I was playing Pokemon go and getting lunch with a friend. Got there around 10:20 and got towed at 11:25 on the dot. Not sure how they determine who to tow and who not to since I did go into the Wendy's and grab food, so I was a customer of the plaza. The chick at the front desk told me that all I needed to do in order to get my money back is to do a charge back on whatever credit card i used. Apparently, when you do this, the company keeps the money, and it is all charged to the state! A win-win for both parties. The fact that other people were parked in the same area and only my car got towed when all I did was go get some food and the other people were obviously going across the street and leaving their cars behind. A warning about parking in the Home Depot lot in Cypress, CA. Home Depot actively works w/Joe's Towing in a practice of predatory towing. They hire spotters who park in the lot watching and waiting and after one hour, they hand the plate numbers to the tow trucks who are circling the lot just waiting to tow your ca. It will cost you, $265 and possible damage to your car as another couple discovered when Joe's damaged their brand new Toyota when Joe's Towing broke into their car, which they stated is legal to do to "safely tow the vehicle". read more
