I had my car there, ate dinner in the plaza, and carpooled to get drinks elsewhere. When I returned hours later, the entire lot was fenced off. There was no sign saying who towed my car or when it happened. I had to call the Police department for information. It was nearly 500 bucks to get the car back. Such a scam. read more

Our vehicle was towed by Joe's Towing while we were dining at a ramen restaurant. We are paying customers and the signs posted said we had to be customers to be able to park there. We explained that we were legitimate customers and even told the Joes staff that we can show our receipt, but the staff refused to listen or assist us. We were charged $377 to retrieve our car and were met with extremely rude, unprofessional, and arrogant behavior throughout the process. This experience was incredibly disappointing and felt unfair. Only reviewing because I see the low reviews. The worker made the process really simple and easy. I was able to pick up my car within 10 mins of arriving to the location with my DL. He even broke down the prices and gave me an itemized receipt. They also have price breakdown for every city around the area of where they had to tow your car. Some cities are way more expensive than others with even having a city fee, like Irvine. Not his fault my car got towed, and he was really nice about it. We started at Slurpin Ramen which was amazing, then we went to The Cauldron which was across the street and then we came back to Slurpin Ramen to get some dessert and drinks. The security thought we left the area so they decided to tow my car and my two other friend's car. We didn't notice anything until we left the ramen place to find out that our car was gone. Ouch, I parked at the Golden West plaza on the weekend, big mistake. I saw the sign saying "no swap meet parking" I didn't think much of it since I wasn't going to the swap meet, I was playing Pokemon go and getting lunch with a friend. They hire spotters who park in the lot watching and waiting and after one hour, they hand the plate numbers to the tow trucks who are circling the lot just waiting to tow your ca.
