After waiting 90 minutes for AAA, I called Albertos, like I said their driver was on scene in 19 minutes. Pretty pricey service but when you think about how valuable 'my time is', from the time of my call to the time we dropped the car at tire shop, it was 65 minutes. They didn't keep the time we agreed on. They insisted on sending me help to move my shed from the side of the house to the front. I said NO, I've done this before and I don't need help. I asked for a dolly trailer and later agreed that a flatbed truck would be fine. I have used a true flatbed before so I know it will work. The owners father shows up with a flatbed car trailer with wheel wells above flatbed. I immediately said that is not what I ordered and that it will not work. He then insisted on helping me, then I asked is the help free or your going to charge me. He said charge me. I told him I don't need his help. In the end he held up some straps and pulled a wagon that did more damage than help. Once the shed was in the middle of the front yard he did a bait and switch on me. Now he was doubling the price to move the shed. My 80 year old mother and wife could hear the BS coming from this guy and I was about to tell this guy to leave and a few extra choice words but my mom said we needed this done so please just agree to pay. If my mother was not their I would have fired him on the spot. We had to use my straps and ratchets in order to move my shed, they did not bring the proper equipment. This company is so unprofessional, they contradict their own words and rules. The guy towing my car said to pay him (zelle) $200 and he would leave my car and not take it to the yard. We agreed on doing so, but he then made a call and changed his mind and took it instead. I also asked to take my infants car seat out and was denied. I had to borrow a car seat to go pick up my car!! I bet if we would've offered to pay more than just $200 he would've left it. This company is a scam. They only took my car so they can get more money. My car had the hazard lights on because it was a quick in and out situation. The hazard lights were still on at the yard too. They just look for any excuse to rob money from you. Since then I have called Alberto's company 13 times requesting that Alberto's Towing company do the right thing and pay the $746.12 damage caused by Alberto's Towing company. Multiple people at Alberto's Towing, including Alberto who hung up on me, have told me that they will call me back and the calls have only been returned once from a driver. I didn't believe it was possible but apparently there are people out there that are capable of messing up things that do not even require high school level of education. It's truly mind-boggling! I scheduled a tow for my car 2 weeks ahead of time. The vehicle make, date and time of pick up was arranged and agreed upon. I called Tu this week (5 days before tow) to confirm my work order. I confirmed it is Saturday at 8 am, they confirmed. I was assured my tow is still scheduled, and the work order will be processed the day of tow. Great! Then I get a call on Friday a day before my tow to confirm if I still need a tow. I said yes, and confirmed with them that it is Saturday at 8 am at my home address. Everything still checked out on their end. Awesome! Come Saturday, 8:12 am, no tow truck. I called and was told the driver is scheduled to come at 9 am. WTF?!?!?! I confirmed not once, but three (3) !!!!! times the pick up at 8 am, but apparently in the system it said 9 am. Do you people count like 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,8,10 or something? I just don't understand. No apologies, no remorse, nothing, basically the attitude to me was "driver is coming at 9, we dgaf, take it or live it" - and at the end I think they cancelled my tow since the driver never showed. DO NOT HIRE!! This company will steal your vehicle!! I hired Albertos towing service to help a friend of mine tow her BMW and I agreed to a specific price with Alberto for the tow services. The price I was quoted by Alberto was 170 to tow her vehicle from bellflower to Costa Mesa. I have text messages of his agreement which I will attach. The day of I get a call from the tow truck driver saying he has the vehicle and is in route to Costa Mesa. Upon arrival the driver calls me and asks for the payment of 170. We immediately send him payment thru Alberto Castellanos Venmo. The driver drops her car off and we think all is well. Three minutes later I get a call from Alberto saying that the bill wasn't paid and he never received the payment. Lies!! Then he tries to get petty and says that there is a four dollar fee because it was done as a merchant. Ok no problem we paid the four dollar fee as well. Alberto continues to ask me for more money and I tell him I'm not going to pay him again for something that we had already agreed on a specific price. At this point he tells his driver to pick up the car again and proceeds to leave with it without our permission . They take it to their tow yard and refused to let us pick it up! We called the office multiple times throughout the day to see what was going on and no one gave us any answers. We had to wait until Monday to even get a response from Alberto. At this point I had a heated discussion with him over the phone for almost an hour and I had to reluctantly agree to pay 650 to get the vehicle out and towed back to Costa Mesa. We get to Costa Mesa only to find out that the driver literally walked in and walked out then left again with the vehicle. They literally stole my friends vehicle which we had hired them to tow for us. We will be filing a civil lawsuit against Albertos Towing For breach of contract theft and expenses through this entire nightmare process. Alberto. You are a horrible person and you should be embarrassed and ashamed of yourself for taking advantage of a pregnant woman who couldn't defend herself. We'll see you in civil court read more

really really bad experience with these guys. I called for an estimate to remove to Conex Containers off the truck. They said $250 an hour that was fine. I asked them when does the time start? Is there any drivetime charge? They said no we're about 10 miles from you time starts when we get there.. They were milking the job as I expected. I know that's the way it goes an hour and a half into the job. He said I'm billing the job for three hours. How do you pay? I told him it was a two hour job. He says he didn't care what the operator said he's charging 1 Hour Dr. time.. He would not unload the container until I signed the contract and paid them.. I had to do it and was not happy about it. They say 3.9% convenience fee for credit cards and the contract but they actually charge considerably more than that.. That's illegal in the state of California. I hope somebody reports them to the state. Avoid these guys at all costs! read more

Gilberto in truck #26 was such a blessing and so professional. We are from Irvine and had drove our Escalade up to LA for an audition. Upon arriving at our destination our vehicle would not start and after trying to change the battery we determined it was the starter. We reached out to Geico, who put us in touch with Alberto's Towing and they sent Gilberto to the rescue! He arrived in a reasonable amount of time and swiftly and safely loaded our vehicle onto the flatbed. We took a lyft home and he showed up with the vehicle 5 minutes later and as quickly and efficiently as he loaded it, he unloaded it perfectly into the parking spot we designated. If I can give a review a zero star I would have. Phone operators were not helpful. Sophie the phone operator was unprofessional. She kept putting me on hold. By her tone, she sound like she hates her job. Anyways, I called to get a towing service for my car I give the person the address where to pick up my car and destination. I was quoted $220. I agreed. No big deal right? The issue was Sophie said that the wait time was going to be an hour and that I'll be reached out when the tow truck arrives. About 2 hours later, the towing service never showed. This situation was not only frustrating, but also upsetting. I called back to see what's going on. Sophie tells me that I had to call back to confirm the tow service pick up. Why? I didn't go out of my way to call, provide her my name, vehicle info and address destination just to be told I have to call again a second time to confirm 2 stinking hours later. Bullshit!! Mr. Alberto do yourself a favor and retrain your customer service operators, they need it for sure. read more

The worst experience -got accused of trying to steal! My car battery died at my place of employment (a hospital) and my car insurance sent Alberto's towing for assistance. I was reassured by Geico that this company would be able to jump-start my car. The dispatcher from Alberto's that contacted me was super nice and professional, with no complaints there. It all went downhill after the tow truck driver arrived. After patiently waiting almost 3 hours (they had to send a different driver because of the hospital parking clearance), the driver arrived. The driver said that he wasn't allowed to jump-start my car, so my only option was to have my vehicle towed. I was tired and just wanted to go home, so if this was my only option, I was okay with it. As the driver was pushing my car out of the parking spot, I stood in front of his truck (the driver door was opened, and I stood in front of it) to get out of the way. Everything seemed fine to this point until it was not. All of a sudden, the driver stopped was he was doing, leaving my car diagonally blocking the structure and proceeding to sit in his truck. As he sat in his truck, he asked me if there was something I needed from his truck. He kept repeating this, and I first I didn't understand what he was trying to ask me or why he would ask that. Confused, I said, 'I guess, yes, I need a ride back home in your truck? " He then kept saying 'There's a camera in here' and 'you're on Camera.' Okay, I told him, still confused and tired. Then it clicked to me. I asked if he was accusing me of trying to steal something from his truck. He said Yes! Baffled, I asked him why he would assume that and what would I possibly want to take from it? He's like, "IDK, there's nothing in here for you to take anyways, but it sure looked like it."You were looking into my car, and every time I would turn to look at you and you would see me, you would turn right away." All I'm thinking to myself is WTH is happening right now? This man is obviously paranoid, maybe even possibly on drugs, accusing a female who just waited 3 hours for him at a hospital parking structure of stealing. After all this, I did not feel comfortable getting in his truck or even proceeding to communicate with him. I asked for his name, and he responded, "Don't worry about it." I told him I wanted to cancel everything. He closed his door, called someone on the phone, and drove off laughing as he flipped me off. WOW ! Meanwhile, my car was left blocking the middle of the hospital parking lot. I ended up having to call the hospital security to come and help me move my car. Since I was right in front of the security cameras, they had reviewed the security tape, and even they couldn't understand why I was being accused or why he was acting the way he did. unfortunately, unprofessional and bad employees like him give companies a bad reputation. Certified scam artist. They will charge you for one price and nearly triple the price once they reach their destination and hold your vehicle hostage if you don't pay up. This exact situation happened when I had my motorcycle towed. I had already paid when the driver negotiated with his boss, right in front of me, how much they should upcharge me. Not sure how they are still in business, but if there's one good thing I've learned it is to always take a receipt to document your transaction so that you have evidence in court. ***SCAM COMPANY PIRATE TOWING !!!! **This company towed mine and about 18 other people off ball and Euclid without permission or consent from the lot owner who gives us permission to park there overnight on 6/22/23 and took it to profession towing in Fullerton on Manhattan st where they rent a lot . I will be there bright and early on 6/23/23 with everyone's else's vehicles who got towed to get a full refund . Sad part a lot worker joking said we did it to make the days quota !!
