Gina taught me how to use hypnotherapy myself, to control my anxiety, phobia and stress. She also introduced and taught me EFT (emotional freedom technique) which is a simple yet amazing tool. That was the first time I realized my physical pain was coming from the emotional traumas that my body had stored. She claims she has no clue about the area.....what kind of person that claims to be a professional leaves a person in the lurch without any idea of a referral. Professionals that do not have a referral list clearly are more in it for the money than helping the person. Unprofessional, client beware! She strikes the perfect balance between sharp insight and genuine compassion. She's relatable, down-to-earth, and refreshingly free of pretension--yet her expertise shines through in every session. One moment with Dr. Crowley that I will never forget was when I was struggling to define myself by my circumstances after brain surgery, feeling stuck and disconnected from who I had been before. I had to stop working and had some issues with my vision and it was difficult as someone in my 30s. She gave me an analogy that changed my perspective completely: she said to think of my life as a football field, and that it wouldn't be fair to judge myself solely by the last 10 (or 20?) yards without looking at the whole field. That insight has stayed with me for all these years, and it still reminds me to see my life in its full, rich context. If you're looking for someone who will truly listen, challenge you in meaningful ways, and help you grow, Dr. Crowley aka Maggie is it.
