Having to shut down my business after 4 months of COVID protocols made it impossible for me to keep my 25 year business going. My longtime lawyer referred me to John Vos. I never thought I'd need to file bankruptcy, but things can happen out of the blue that throw the proverbial wrench in your life. A family connection brought me to Mr Vos, and right away he advised me on two or three ways to approach the case, just one of which involved going through with the bankruptcy. I retained John Vos to help me with a strategic bankruptcy to save my home while I attempted to get a loan modification. I gave him an initial payment with the balance to be paid over 5 years. The bankruptcy was dismissed after the first year. I immediately began receiving multiple harassing phone calls each day and on weekends to pay the balance due (40 to 50 calls and messages over a few weeks, filling up my voice mailbox). His tone was often sarcastic and unpleasant. While he invested little time and offered few helpful suggestions on my case, he invested a great deal more time and effort trying to collect the balance due.
