Fast forward to today and it is still a cool place AND most importantly, it still is open with a bunch of new stores. I think what makes this mall special is the collection of things it has in and around it. The restaurants here are all really good if you need any ideas for dinner. The stores are all good size and there's a movie theater. That's my main reason I have been there a lot recently. It is a huge mall and they're open early for folks just to walk around before stores opening. The paving isn't great but then neither is your mother's driveway when driving out of it at 4am. Definitely nothing on the level of the businesses and plazas up in Amherst and out in Clarence along Transit Road or Niagara Falls Boulevard. Pretty sleepy and has a Save-A-Lot and other stores along those lines.

My 87-year-old mom gets along with a walker most of the time, but this store is pretty big and it's easy to get worn out at that age, so we sometimes use their walker when we are there. if you're looking for great brands at amazing prices, you've got to check out Gabe's. Even my picky husband was impressed by their really large selection of high-vis jackets and shirts. There's a really great plus-sized section, a huge selection of outerwear, and a lot of really great clothes for kids, men, and ladies. I'm pretty sure the teens/juniors have their own section too. Some of the brands I've seen if you're looking - NFL (Go Bills!), Guess, Buffalo Outdoors, Ariat, Yellowstone. There are tons of great shoes, too, if you're looking for brand names at cheaper prices. One tip when shopping here - go when you've got the time to really look. Give yourself a solid 90 minutes if you want to find some fantastic bargains. It's similar to the store in the north towns that I visited last fall. It houses many Buffalo Bills items, bison items, jewelry, lawn signs, and cool coasters. The staff were nice. My mom bought be bison leggings that were blue with white bisons from a vendor fair and now they're way too small so I bought a pair here for myself. The pair I bought yesterday were blue with red and white bisons. They're adult size 3S so about an 18. They fit well. I bought my sister a Bills purse and a hot chocolate bomb. (She has an upcoming birthday.) I bought myself the same items. I also bought myself a Bills scrunching and some heart earrings. Everything came to $147.58. It was really pricy but worth it in the end to have some cool new (to me) items. The staff were nice and the store was clean. If I decide to get any of their other items, like the cool coasters, the popcorn, the sauces or the lawn signs, I'll definitely be back.
