Dr. Bosak takes 6-12 months to find an appointment for work he deems necessary. Asked me if I had sedatives at home for pre-sedation. He eventually took a Valium out of his pocket. I was in pain, Bosak stopped procedure and walked out! Referred me to a DDS who was NOT in network and required cash only. Bosak requested I arrive at 9:00 am to get suited up and chatted with another DDS in lobby until 9:45. I asked him when he would start working on me and he verbally snapped in front of waiting patients. Took 17 months to schedule me for a routine procedure. Building is falling apart, carpet ripped, trip hazards, not ADA compliant and elevator usually out of order. Staff is very rude (hostile) and they discuss patients so that other patients can hear. If you ask for a particular hygienist, you wait months, as hygienists are not full time. Even my family members felt Dr. Bosak was unethical, unsanitary and his equipment was decades out of date. I have been going to Dr. Bosak for 20 years! I wouldn't go anywhere else. I use to bring my 3 kids here when they were little. I moved from the valley but I still drive 1 hour to Dr. Bosak! I've had major dental work. He does quality work and makes you feel comfortable. I've never had a bad experience. His dental assistant Rajni is such a sweetheart!!! She is the BEST!!!! I have been coming here for a few years now and I can't believe I haven't left a review sooner. I found this dentist by googling and reviewing dentists in my area and that was also covered by my insurance. The reviews were good so I decided to make a phone call. Any time I call this office I am always greeted with the friendliest of staff, so much so that I wanted to make an apt. The staff is just as kind in person. However, I want to single out Denise for always extensively answering my questions and really taking her time in helping me, recently and over the last couple of years. Almost like motherly advice. I'm new to being on my own with insurance and recently this office can no longer take HMO.. so I waited a couple months and finally decided to switch to a PPO, per her advice. Regardless of the type of insurance, this office cares. Dr Bosak is very friendly and attentive as well. I'm huge on good vibes and this office definitely has the best vibes and people working here. I have neglected my teeth I will admit due to my fear of dentists, I would only go for extractions. Since I've gotten older, I wanted to finally address my teeth. I feel I hit the lottery when I found Dr. Bosak and his amazing staff. You walk into his office and are immediately greeted by the wonderful dynamic duo of Judy and Janet, they made me feel very welcome. Today I went in for a cleaning, normally I would be terrified, but this is my second cleaning by, in my opinion, the greatest dental hygienist on the planet, Liora. She did an incredible job. I came for regular cleaning covered by my Insurance, but they did X Ray ( to get a copy the front desk lady asked for $ 25) Regular cleaning they do NOT do without deep cleaning that cost me $ 480 it is my co pay, out of $ 1,500 price for deep cleaning ( it is front desk woman announce to me) I never heard of a such high price. This dental office are out of real life / normal reality. This office rules set to rip off their clients. You should aware of it before visit them. read more

Update, eight years later. So now two of three crowns from Dr. Bosak fell out three years later! I am now paying thousands per tooth for implants. Stay away from this guy unless you want to pay, not only high prices for faulty work, but work that was not necessary to begin with! So I called my dental insurance provider and they told me that this was the office assigned to me and that they should have accepted me as a new patient and then referred me to a specialist. My Aunt went in to have her teeth cleaned. They found a cavity and kept poking it. She was told she had to leave it was "lunch time" and she did not get the hole the poked out filled, nor her teeth cleaned which she came in for, just shoved out the door and locked behind her. After being a customer here for well over a decade and I am beyond disgusted with this practice. They are completely DISHONEST! If you're into lying and being stolen from then perhaps you won't mind being a patient here, otherwise you'll be making a HUGE mistake to put any level of trust in them or their work ethic. While some of the people who work here, may appear to be ok people they are ROBBING patients and charging them in excess of what they are to be billed. Less than a year ago I had white surface filling on #8 which I paid $180 for and thought was outrageous, now less than a year later part of it has chipped and I am told by them it is now $410 to fix, but can be discounted to $350, or discounted to a one time only price of what I paid last year $180 but will only be honored at that price for 3 months. Ummm hello!!! RED FLAG - which part of this doesn't scream completely SKETCHY!!! I declined to have the service completed only to call my dental insurance carrier Cigna the next morning to be told I should have never been charged $180 last year, I should have only been charged my co payment of $115 and this service is not $410. Not only did Cigna have to call them and now I am waiting on a refund from last year but now have to find a new trustworthy dental practice. After driving out of my way to maintain our relationship with them for all of these years, it's beyond pitiful they would conduct business in such a distasteful and unlawful way. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!! Really, they should be shut down. read more

I usually don't leave Yelp reviews, and I especially don't leave one-star reviews, but it is worth it to me to let anyone in the market looking for a new dentist know to steer clear of Dr. Bosak so that you do not have the unfortunate blinding hindsight that I now have. I had been a patient of Bosak since 2014 after having had to switch insurance providers and having seen our family dentist of 20 years. Unfortunate, but that's the breaks. I had chosen a doctor who was close to me, though the sudden realization that he was only open four weekdays and during specific hours proved difficult to book an appointment. Though I really did need dental work and extensive cleaning done and the front-facing staff were friendly, I felt that my first visit was unpleasant from the standpoint of the dentist being unattentive to my concerns and an unfriendly demeanor, shaming me into falling into bad habits (when really I have naturally soft enamel which complicates any teeth-related matters) and providing me services which took advantage of my naïvete in dental and costing me more than typical dentists charge because I believed I had serious dental concerns. I had trusted my new dentist to help correct any wrongs. But here's the kicker: having moved away, I still reluctantly went to him as my insurance covered and had been continually told that, upon initial appointments that included a crowning and fillings, that my teeth were in pretty good shape. I thought I was doing pretty well for myself, until I decided on a fluke to try a new dentist since my new work provided PPO insurance. A new cleaning from a new dentist in a super friendly and honest office and available on weekends provided me detailed info about my x-rays and the state of my teeth, which were decaying on a frequent basis. Bosak's office never indicated any signs of trouble after my initial analysis with them, either because they lacked the care or they really didn't want to tell me and had me keep going until something was seriously wrong and then costing me a fortune. Well, the new dentist discovered two cavities (one of which was on the verge of needing a root canal) and that my crown was improperly placed, with the potential of gum decay underneath and other cavities which might appear due to the lack of discovery from the hygienists at Bosak's. In summary, I should have seen this coming from my first time stepping in to Bosak's office. I would not recommend him under any circumstance if you are looking unless you really want additional dental work in the future at a totally unsatisfying price point. Find someone who is willing to take the time ON your teeth instead of talking about it and especially talking DOWN to you about it, with an office whose staff are nice but ultimately inefficient at what they do and providing you potentially false and ultimately damaging info. read more

I have never had a cavity in my life so I am always skeptical of new doctors saying that I have a cavity to try and make money, but Doctor Bosak said that I still have no cavities which shows he is an honest doctor. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. First of all, I am a new incoming nursing student and I needed a dental exam to start. They were so flexible and worked to help me out so that I could get in before school started. Janet kept in contact with both me and my mom and advised me of a cancellation in case I wanted to take that appointment instead. As soon as you walk in the wonderful ladies at the front desk, Judy and Janet, greet you and get you checked in. Leanne was my hygienist and she made so comfortable and was very friendly and made good conversation. My cleaning was over before I knew it. 9/9/19 I'm so disappointed in the awful experience I had today from Dr. Bosak's Wife whom is also an employee there . I brought in my young son since this office is local and convenient for routine cleaning and an x-ray.After his cleaning I was told he had two cavities. which I was previously told that by this office but went elsewhere to have them filled since this office is not affordable ,Janet at the front turned around and asked Dr Bosak's wife what do we do in this case since I went elsewhere to have the cavities filled she blurts out obnoxiously maybe you should stick to that office you're assigned to this office why would you go over there I said because it's too expensive here then she gives this ridiculous embarrassing example yelling out in front of other patients and my teenage Son that's like me going to have a Pap smear in one office with my doctor and then going to another office it just doesn't make sense she proceeded to tell me to stick to the other office and have him assigned at that office I as a professional remained calm and only replied OK I get it OK I get it that's all I ever said because I am a professional that works in a professional setting and I've had numerous training which I recommend for Dr. Bosak's Wife ,so I know how to act around patients in a respectful manner I would never treat someone like that so now you have lost a total of FIVE patients from my family and people who I am now ashamed to tell because I referred them to your office I was so proud to be one of your patients but that all changed today and I will never again refer anyone to this office nor will my family be returning and just to make it clear I am able to receive treatment from any office that I choose to go to especially when I'm paying out of pocket!I am not obligated to have everything done in your office it's not in the contract! If I could give zero stars, I would. Let's start with the staff. I think ex-cons are nicer. Rude, disrespectful, and hate their jobs. The two women and one man front office are scary to approach, and the heavy set girl made my son cry. The office manager is the worst, and won't ever give you and insurance answer because "she is just too busy right now". The dentist is extremely judgemental. I remembered that I had gone to Dr. Bosak many years ago, and I was happy with his service. So, I finally found his contact information in my Blue Shield directory! Thank goodness! Surprisingly, Dr. Bosak remembered me. He and, his staff were, and are amazing! They even had the gentleman from the lab come to his office to match my tooth personally!
