I have debated for awhile whether to write a reviewas I was seen there over a year ago. I was seen…read morefor low back pain and had received a Cortisone shot prior to starting. I liked working with my physcial therapist. She seemed knowledgable; however, though the exercises were good, they didn't really help with my back pain. When my sessions ended, my PT asked me to go back and change answers on my questionnaires to indicate that the PT helped. As a medical person myself, I felt uncomfortable going back and changing answers. The other was that though most of the assistants were good, some of them seemed to spend too much time fooling around, and I would have to call to them to find out what the next exercise was.

Yelp reviews quickly led me to select the Foothiils PT location on Grand Ave in Surprise, where I underwent therapy six times during my two week stay. The entire team is impressive - knowledgable, professional, friendly and caring. They have a hands-on approach that I needed and the location has a wide range of equipment to aide in recovery. I highly recommend this location for anyone seeking an excellent PT team! A special shoutout to my main therapist Josh, and the owner Jim, who introduced me to instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation (IASTM) and cupping)!!!

I've had excellent care from several doctors at the CORE Institute. I've seen Eric Feldman and…read moreCarlos Pence for pain; Michael McKernan for a shoulder replacement, and will have a hip replaced by Justin Butler soon. ALL are outstanding doctors specializing is different body limbs or spine. I find them caring and informative. Their bedside manners are wonderful. They give a full folder of instructions prior to surgery and it tells you exactly what to expect and what to prepare for. The CORE Specialty Hospital is spotlessly clean and they take excellent care of their patients. Again, I found them to be as helpful as they possibly could be. Pre-ops are a patient's responsibility to take care of with their primary, but if you wish they will do them at the hospital a couple a week or so prior to surgery. The patient's portal is available for many answers 24/7, or you can leave your question to be personally answered by staff. I'm saddened to see some dissatified comments, but I understand how pain can make life difficult. Perhaps in the future they can look back and not blame the services for what they did not understand when they were in pain. Every patient needs to advocate for their own needs, or have someone to help them do so. I will close by saying how incredibly nice it is to have on-site x-ray, CT & MRI scans. Plus, they have plenty of staff to handle your needs. Very little waiting for visits. They have a screen showing each physcians' name showing if he/she is on time or not. As a "frequent flyer", I've never had a wait time of more than 10 minutes.

I was having 4 shots injected into my spinal nerves and I was scared to death. I had anesthesia which I couldn't have done without but up until then I felt like just another body. I wish the staff and Drs would remember this is new and frightening for a lot of patients. I was asked why I was breathing fast... Well, duh I was nervous and scared. Please be more patient and sympathetic to those having a nerve racking experience. This is not a daily routine for any patient. The staff's nonchalant attitude just makes the experience horrible! I'm grateful for getting back pain relief but getting there and the procedure experience is a frightening ordeal and I believe the staff/Drs could make it easier for patients.
