They recommended a filling on my 12-year-old daughter's Baby Tooth cavity (which was not in critical shape), the tooth fell out 2 weeks later (thank goodness I went with my gut). My friend who has NEVER had a cavity her whole life, had to get a filling at THIS office. They recommended my husband get a filling the next visit, (spoiler alert, our new dentist, didn't see a problem with that tooth.) Final straw, they recommended I get a crown on a tooth that was not hurting, and I could not see what they were talking about on the Xray, which would cost me over $500. Done! Found a new dentist. My new dentist DID NOT recommend a crown, they replaced the filling and I still have my $500. (FYI, new dentist does not recommend a night guard to either of us).

I had a lot of questions about what I was seeing in the X-rays and the answers weren't satisfactory; he was pushy and against my better judgement I let him drill the one (I had never previously had a cavity). This caused a lot of anxiety and hadn't been to the back to the dentist since until today. As for the 5-6 others, it has been 8yrs, I finally just went back. I have only 1 small cavity now that just started to form. Get a copy of your X rays and get a second opinion. There are online services that do that now. The x-ray was really rough felt like I was being manhandled through the process. "Open - Bite - Close" while shoving hard plastic around my teeth with a weighted blanket on. (I've done this before somewhere else but this time it felt it was rushed) Hygienist assistant when I got to the chair was a little rude , she was talking to me as if I didn't know what I was talking about, saying I should call my dentist from back home and verify the work that got done as if what I was telling her was not true. My wait time in the waiting room was one hour no exaggeration and that's what's an appointment I see people coming in after me that got seen before me When I left, I called back a few days later to verify the work that I was getting done so I can mentally prepare and was told that I was getting something done that was different for what I was told on day one So I waited a few days and called back and then was told something different again before I hung up. I asked her to verify what the doctor said, which was the original work that I was told. At that point, I didn't understand why you were communicating with me telling me information that wasn't true. That made me believe that nobody is on the same page so I felt uncomfortable and cancel my appointment.
