In 2022 I had a firewood cutting injury and a big piece of firewood shot out of my wood splitter and took the end of one toe off so I went to the ER who then referred my to Dr. Castles Office and they had to do a surgery to remove my badly damaged lil toe and the bone connecting it, the surgery was a success and the follow up care was Top Notch and they even took care of making sure that I was not in pain and arranged for a home health RN to come to my home twice weekly to change dressings and make sure everything was healing well. A month or so ago I stepped on my hard rubber door stop and I got a huge bruise on the sole of my foot next to my missing toe, in a matter of weeks it made a blood blister and that opened up in a hole in my foot so I went and saw Dr. Castle who made me feel welcome and he and his awesome staff cared for my injury and then they made my day by thanking me for my Service as a local disabled in the line Wildland Firefighter. Bottom line if you are looking for the Best Podiatrist in Southern Oregon then Dr. Castel and all the good folks at Grants Pass Podiatry is a fantastic choice and like me I am sure you'll be glad you did choose them, you are in good hands at Grants Pass Podiatry. My visit to this Butcher was a living nightmare, this kid doctor that spoke broken english was only…read moresupposed to dibridged a callus on my foot but he hacked a huge bloody hole into my foot causing extreme pain and it would not stop bleeding for weeks so I asked for a folow up but was told they are booked solid and to go to the ER so I asked for something for the pain and I was told that my Primary Doctor would take care of that for me but Laurie Ott my AllCare PCP is like them a total POS and she told me that she did not hack part of my foot off they did and that they should get me something for the god awful pain so I again reached out and was then told that I was a Drug Seeker and to Get Lost so I went to the ER who was stunned by the hack job on my foot, the ER gave me a Shot of Morphine and put me on antibiotics too that Ambulatory forgot to do or just did not want to because Oregon Health Plan pays them so little. I sure wish that AllCare would still cover me to see Dr. Castle as he would have never made me a local disabled in the Line Wildland Firefighter suffer needlessly like Ambulatory Foot Center Did, their Doctor is a Masochistic Butcher and not fit to Practice in North Korea. Go see Doc Castle and avoid this place like it was Covid 19, you'll be glad you did.

However, like some lawyers, they charge rates for their work that are meant to cover full physical therapists. Good for profits, I guess. As long as it works. However, even though their web page shows seven physical therapists, they have lost two, and several of those labeled as physical therapists cannot, in fact, do progress assessments. The summary is they want or must do a progress assessment before they can schedule the last two visits, and they have no one available (out of the two supervising PTs) who can do a progress assessment in June. Apparently, they did not plan for it four weeks ago when they scheduled my additional appointments, so the approved visits cannot be used, and I will need to find a different Physical Therapist. Summary, the people you see, and the equipment they have available are top notch. But the people in-charge are not looking out for you. Don't assume they have things under control, or even care.
