Took all my details and in the end asked me if I was having any problems, when I told her yes, she tells me they don't have anything available until mid-December. When I told her she should have asked me that first we could have saved us some time, she's like you should have told me that first. Seriously? That was really rude. On a side note, before calling her I tried to make an online appointment on their site and after filling out the form the site breaks and throws an error. Time wasted there too. I understand technical problems happen but when you got a human receptionist with an attitude like that, there's something wrong. Hope this saves people some time.

I was a patient if Dr Mitcherling's a few years ago when I urgently needed 2 teeth removed. I opted…read morefor IV sedation and was seen at a surgical center across from Kenilworth Mall in Towson. While I have no complaints about the actual removal, I ended up having a severe adverse reaction to the anesthetic they gave me. I went home feeling fine but over the course of the day my body felt awful and was kind of stiff feeling. The next morning I woke up and could barely move anything below the neck. I had to have my mother & my daughter pull me by my arms into a sitting position and then off the bed where I was bent over and I hobbled to the bathroom. I had to hold onto the door handle on the inside of the bathroom to help me off the toilet. It got way worse as the day progressed. Eventually I said there was no way anyone was going to wake up to help me do anything throughout the night. So we had to call an ambulance. I was diagnosed with rigidity due to the anesthetic and a genetic neuromuscular disease I have, CMT. I was warned to never undergo general sedation ever again. This is something the anesthesiologist should have known about and made changes to my care while I was under their care. I don't know if the anesthesiologist is someone who solely works for Dr Mitcherling or if she works for the surgical center. I had the rest of my teeth pulled with just local anesthetic and was fine.

I've seen SO many different dentists and different kinds of dentists in that time. The experience at this office was above and beyond from the moment I walked in there. Front desk was very warm. The dental assistant Dane' (sorry if I didn't spell that correctly) was extremely sweet and thorough going over my issues and medical history. Dr. Cohen was caring, fully listened, and really did an extensive review for me. To top it off, they did something generous with the appointment fee that I am sincerely grateful for. This office and everyone I encountered in it was a bright light in a very dark dental year. Thank you so much.
