Unfortunately, likely due to the construction, there are areas of fence missing, bare dirt areas, and uncut grass in areas. So be mindful of this and check for ticks if you use the park. Hopefully the town will get this back up and running soon and make it a five star.

We stopped by this park on a random day trip to Annapolis. First, I really appreciated that the park was separated with sections for large and small dogs. Second, the section for the large dogs is pretty large. Unfortunately during our visit, there were no other dogs at the park. While there was plenty of open space, I didn't notice too much shade, which is probably why there were not too many dogs during our early afternoon visit, but I guess that's a minor concern. Although we do not live in Annapolis, I can see us visiting again (even with the $9 entrance fee) as a means to tire out the pup before checking out a local restaurant.

This Park is plenty large enough for the biggest of breeds or the smallest. There are two separate areas, the larger side is for "Large Dogs" above 25 lbs and the "Small Dogs" for 25 lbs or less. The people here are nice for the most part, friendly and clean up after their dog(s). Yes, there are a few that don't but hey? What ya gonna do, get in a fist fight over it? There is free water during the Spring, Summer & Fall and only turned off so the pipes do not freeze. Shady spots to sit and converse with other patrons, poop bags, trash receptacles and grounds keeping provided by the county. There is even bathroom facilities available nearby. If On-Leash walking is your thing there is quite an extensive area to walk around and even a small wooded trail behind the kids playground area and tennis courts and paths/bridges to the skate park parking lot.
