It's nicely tucked away though so it's not overrun at all times. You have to park near the entrance to the park, by the large barn structure. That area has tons of fields and trails that go off throughout the forest. It's really a nice spot. Down the trail a little ways is the dog park. It is entirely fenced in and has a two gate locke system to get in and out safely. There is a TON of space with trees sprinkled throughout. It's plenty of room to really flex your top speed and get out some energy. They have tables and benches around as well making it even nicer to hang out. There's also free access to water with large bowls for the pups. Lastly they have a lot of balls and toys all over the area that are up for grabs. Jersey always has a blast tearing around the park at top speed and greeting every single dog and human over and over again.

Both large and small dog parks are double gated so the dogs cant get out and run off. The area for the small dogs is maybe a third if the size of the large dog side. There is fresh water for your dog to get drinks and there's a poopie bag dispenser so you can clean your mess. Most of the people here pay attention to their dogs behavior and I personally haven't seen a blown out dog fight. Its a good social spot for you and your dog. Not much seating area but there are a few fixed benches in the fenced parks. Parking is usually available and near the park entrances. If your dog needs a energy release, give this place a try.

I've seen nothing but respectful owners who are diligent about cleaning up their dogs waste and supervising their fur babies. On hot or dry days it can be a little dusty and if the hose and pool is full it can get a little muddy, so maybe bring a brush or towel if you don't want your seats dirty but I highly recommend it! Also it's usually best to wear shoes or pants that aren't your favorite as some dogs jump up to say hi with wet and dirty paws lol They even have a rack for you to hang your leash and things which is nice to be able to be hands free. It's a bit of a drive for us but with how exhausted he is when we go home it's so worth it!

The playground next to the splash pad is big, new, and accommodating to littler kids. The ground is that cushioned material so falls are less devastating. This park is also always very clean. The dog beach itself located all the way to towards pavilion 6 (I think) but follow the paw signs and you won't miss it. A short shaded trail walk from the parking area. The beach is gated although if your dog is a good swimmer, may want to make sure they don't go over the rocks divider. Once you finish, there is hose down area before you head back out. First, I really appreciated that the park was separated with sections for large and small dogs. Second, the section for the large dogs is pretty large. Unfortunately during our visit, there were no other dogs at the park. While there was plenty of open space, I didn't notice too much shade, which is probably why there were not too many dogs during our early afternoon visit, but I guess that's a minor concern. Although we do not live in Annapolis, I can see us visiting again (even with the $9 entrance fee) as a means to tire out the pup before checking out a local restaurant.
