I had already scheduled a follow up with my podiatrist the week after I had my consultation with Dr.Levenstein. Both doctors were diametricakky opposed in treatment and diagnosis. But I continued on with Dr. Levenstein. I am amazed.. each treatment gave me more range of motion and less pain. I'm out of my sneakers and wearing real shoes. The debilitating pain is almost a memory. PRP for my right foot... then we work on the left. I feel normal. Knees feel great.. no more limping. no more sneakers.. He really cares about his patients.. and wants them to do well. Very easy to talk to. and he explains things very well.

After 3 injections nothing happened and he said 8 is the magic number. After 4 injections I asked if the dosage will increase? His answer was no and then stated that I can have PRP injections not covered by insurance since the Alcohol injections were not working. At this juncture I got another opinion. My new Podiatrist simply said Dr Levenstien is a known money grab and he gets many of Dr L's former patients like me. This was unbelievable. New podiatrist did a digital X-ray which showed I had a small stress fracture. Dr Levenstien was a horrible and costly experience. Do not go to him.

This hospital was once a dump however now its an amazing hospital. From my experience I was treated with the upmost respect and awesome service . Starting from the emergency room staff. I thought I would be sitting waiting for at least 4 hrs. Its was about 1 hour and I was called in. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling well, but the nurses and Dr took very good care of me. I had pneumonia didnt even know it. I was treated with the upmost care. From transport to food service, imaging reps to blood work reps , nurses on the floor were all great. Southside has improved a lot. I would recommend this hospital for care.

I was at Elmhust hospital in Queens first and they did not want to operate on me because it was too much of a high risk surgery and they sent me home and hoped for the best. Dr Rochman performed surgery on me at St. Joseph Hospital in Bethpage Long Island, NY, he operated on me three times to save my life and he never gave up on me, even when the hospital decided I should go to hospice, he still insisted I can be saved and he did save my life. Everybody at St. Joseph's who knew about my case will say that Dr. Rochman saved your life and he would not give up on you. They say Dr. Rockman did what other surgeons were scared of doing, he operated on me and even when the recovery was very difficult he knew he could save me and he did it. He operated on me a total of six times, he preformed a jejunostomy proximal, jejunostomy distance, illeonostomy and colostomy, I had four tubes attached to my abdominal are all at once , I was relaly very sick, one by one He closed the ostomies and the las one was the colostomy that took little over a year to be closed. Dr. Rochman didn't even charge for the last two surgeries. This person is the best and kindest and caring human that God has placed on this earth, right now my eye are tearing for the gratitude to him. Fast forward to 2025, age 67. I need my right side repaired. I found Dr. Dupree who is skilled at robotic surgery. It's comforting to hear the words from the surgeon "I can take care of this". The entire procedure was more complex as it required general anesthesia, however, the recovery time was much faster (and I'm much older). What I like about Dr. Dupree is his confidence and experience. No need to go to a specialized hospital in a big city. Riverview Medical Center is small and accessible.
