Of the companies we looked at, New Look's approach to the job was the most comprehensive with regard to preparation, painting, carpentry, (for any needed repairs) and cleanup. In addition, communications from the company were excellent. I'm always a bit nervous when you have to write a big check! My nervousness went away pretty quickly. After accepting their proposal, I submitted on line our color choices. The job began with a thorough power washing and continued with an almost full day of preparation which included scraping, and taping areas to keep them from adjacent paint application. Paint was spray applied in two coats-main color and trim. Areas where the paint was completely removed by age or power washing were also primed. A very thorough caulking job was also done. We had an area or two where there was some water damage to the Hardie Board exterior. Their excellent carpentry services shone here. All repairs were expertly performed. The entire crew that worked on our home was excellent and the pride they showed in their work was obvious. We've received many compliments from neighbors since painting. I know we made the right choice with New Look Painting.

The quality workmanship by the 3-man crew was outstanding. They made helpful recommendations that we followed. There was a moment of panic near the end of the job staining the main body color of the house exterior. My wife thought it was the wrong color (looked too yellow), but it was being viewed while the paint was still wet. Once it dried, it was what had been originally envisioned. Whew! Again, the crew was patient during our time deliberating whether they should proceed or not. We are more than pleased with the outcome. Time was well-spent masking everything off to protect it from areas that would not receive paint/stain. We have received many compliments on the results from neighbors and a few asked for New Look Painting information for projects of their own.
