Mitten Concrete was the contractor used for our new construction home. We've been disappointed with the quality and handling of the driveway. From the beginning, it didn't look quite right, but we gave it time, hoping it would settle or improve. Unfortunately, the issues only worsened. When we raised our concerns, we were told the issues were outside their control -- which differs from what we've heard from other independent professionals. We felt the communication could have been more constructive and at times came across as dismissive. After several conversations, Mitten offered to replace only certain sections and tint the rest. From what we've learned, tinting is often seen as more of a cosmetic fix than a long-term solution. It may not match the look of a properly poured driveway and could require ongoing maintenance -- not what we expected in a brand-new home.
