There was everything you would hope for... all the basics like coffee filters, spices, soaps, detergents, pots and pans, kids cups & utensils, pack n play, and much more (even stuff for the dog like bowls and a leash). Plenty of beach toys in the garage. The hot tub was hot and very clean. You can tell the owners go above and beyond to make it comfortable and cozy for the guests. I was going through a nasty break up and I have a 4 year old. I was a month to month..which I have never been on. It seemed strange and scammy. Plus they come into YOUR HOME, every three months for inspection. Strange. I have nothing to hide. I am a very quiet clean person. THEY TAKE PICTURES! So strange. I loved the location. 3 minutes to work and across the street from the park. I was planning on staying...oh no..they had no plans on keeping me. Came home early from work because my son's nanny was sick and on my door was a termination letter telling me I had 60 days to get out. Fine this apartment was already starting to fall apart. They didn't even clean the carpet before I moved in and smelled like dog so bad that I had to use an epi pen twice because of allergic reactions, as I am allergic to pet dander. I had this light fixture in the kitchen and one bulb went out and they had to call an electrician to tell me that the whole fixture had to be replaced because ONE lightbulb went out?? There were 5 bulbs all together...oh an d roaches. That was fun. I keep seeing pest control but didn't think anything of it till I moved my fridge and there was a two little German cockroach's. I had to look them up because I've never felt so played and I couldn't believe that they would do that.to me and my 3 year old at the time. Oh and there is a AA and NA meetings that run all day and night in the church next door and my car was broken into twice. Hey Cristina I just wanted to let you know that EVERYONE and I mean everyone warned me not to rent through you. I should have listened. Please get a more secure location to rent to parents. Clean up the mold and roaches @ 641 Commercial. I don't care how long you have been in business, you need to work on humility as a human. On Saturday, we were excited to see that there was a cancellation. "Book online and I'll approve it." The next day (Sunday) I received an email saying that they weren't able to do it. I called CBPM and explained the situation. They said that they would escalate to the manager. And the manager would call on Monday. The manager (Melissa) emailed me on Monday said they don't have cleaners at the end of the stay. I called them again. It's not about the duration of stay now. They cancelled the reservation and told us to check another company. (It's high season! There are no reservations.) The manager basically said tough and hung up. Just to verify, we checked the website and the house is available again for booking at the same time we requested. This company is either untruthful or completely unorganized (or combination of). Sadly, the quick family outing isn't happening.

On September 24, 2025 went and made my final payment for the property and noticed that the property address was available. Went to Zillow to check for additional photos and get more info on the area. The house is "FOR SALE" and went on the market on September 5, 2025. Contacted Vacasa and of course Tier 1 support is not very helpful so asked to speak to a supervisor. Spoke with Tonya and expressed my concern about not being notified that the house is on the market and was told there is nothing to be concerned with - Realtors will be told that the house is not available for showings while the house is being rented and that if the house is sold previous to your stay, the stay will still be honored per their contract with the homeowner. Still expressed my concern about random people coming by while we were on vacation and asked for a full refund. Sorry! we can refund you stay minus the cancellation fee per our policy, So I ask, what is your policy on informing guests when a property goes on the market - "I don't know what that policy is and would have to go and find out." Cancelled the reservation immediately and lost out on the cancellation fee because we were willing to lose out a $160 versus the stress of having our vacation interrupted by some real estate agent or random person coming by. Horrible Customer Service and will not be using Vacasa in the future. This is not how you treat customers.

Of course, by then it was too late to find another place or get our money back from VRBO. 12 or 13 days of the 18 days, was loud banging and drilling during the morning (so you couldnt sleep in on your vacation). Its unbelievable they would do a month long construction project in the middle of prime rental season. We came back more stressed than we left. I spoke to the office and mgr. They said they had to do the project when it wasnt raining. I told them they should only rent rooms on the weekend then, or mark them half off or let ppl know early so they can make other plans. She had excuses about ppl canceling when they didnt know if it would be loud. How can a brand new roof be anything but? We fought w them and VRBO for months to get a puny $900 off a $6K+ rental. I recommend a dozen other options on the prom w higher ratings. Always ask if there is any construction planned or any on the bldgs next door. The year before, the pool was closed the entire 3 weeks we were there (Sept - prime vacation time). In addition to the roofing project, one elevator was down the whole time, making for extra long waits since 1 working elevator was shared by 6 floors. This place has worn out its welcome. U can do better.

The vents in the bathroom didn't work so on a hot day we would take showers and humid would linger for two days in the bathroom. They need to lower the price since it's not what it seems. Overall it was a good stay but wish they didn't lie about the pool. Donnamae, she was at front desk when we checked in. Amazing customer service. She went above and beyond. She also speaks Spanish!
