The new doctor doesn't answer the phone. Have to call over and over again to get a prescription refilled.

So when I went to see Bramhall, I explained the ringing in my ears, my severe dizziness that comes and goes and that many conversations seem muffled to me. I can hear them but not clearly enough to discern the actual words. He asked me why I had already had so many surgeries in my life and I explained that I carried my autistic child for many years bc I had to get things done and carrying him was what allowed me to take him out in public. Apparently that prompted him to give me his ENTIRE view of the Israel-Iran war. Um...... WHAT?!? I was SO confused. How was that relevant? So weird! He eventually picked a tiny flake of earwax out of my ear, said the vertigo should go away and gave me a solution to put in my ear when my earbuds make my ear canals itchy. That's it! Then charged me $210 for the 10 minute visit. I didn't write a review at the time bc I prefer to write only positive reviews. There's so much negativity in the world already. But it's a yr later and I am again looking for an ENT and his name came up. Not only no but helll no! Hopefully soon I'll be able to write a glowing review from an ENT who is professional, stable and provides results.

We just called to the office but the doctor's assistant is such a shameless liar! My surgery for 1 tooth extraction was on Friday, they charged me more than I should have, charged me extra for deep sleeping anesthesia. The surgery lasted about 30 minutes. At 9:04 am I went into the surgery room with the doctor's assistant (there was a monitor with the time right in front of me). I waited for the doctor until 9:30 am (when dr.Shillingburg came in, I looked at the time on the monitor again). A few minutes later I got an injection from deep sleep . They called to my husband at 10:01am so he could pick me up! I'm 100% sure surgery was about 30 minutes, maybe even less!! But the doctor's assistant lied so much that the surgery lasted 47 minutes! REALLY??? And she said the surgery started at 8:52am! What a shame! Omg ! Check your cameras before lying to a patient who trusted you! At 8:52am, I was still standing at the checkout, sorting out the bill you gave me and trying to add $3,000 for an additional service I didn't need, in addition to $3,313 for one tooth extraction! I asked for it to be removed because the bill was already huge! It was about 6.000$ ! CRAZY ! They are the most expensive in this area, but they turned out to be such scammers! I'm shocked!

Prospective Patients, I am writing this to share my…read moreunfortunate situation that occurred with my scheduled operation (elbow). First, allow me to say that I have been a patient of DR J. Cantrell for probably over 15 years without issue. I have a situation with my left elbow that requires surgery, and because tendon repair is probable, a lengthy recovery. Over the past months, since October of 2014, we have been steady watching the situation and timing the surgery. I'm an airline pilot and timing is everything when dealing with a surgery that affects my ability to fly, and obviously make money. Additionally, the FAA's flight surgeons and company medical department must also be involved. A lot of logistics to be done to get things in line, long term leave, etc. The surgery was scheduled for today 7 May 2015, insurance, company and FAA matters were all taken care of. On Tuesday morning 28 April, 8:30am, I called the clinic and ask about the date of my surgery. I had forgotten whether it was the 7th or 8th. The operator handed me off to the doctor's administrative assistant. It went to voicemail. I left a message with my name, date of birth, call back number, and my question. Two days goes by with no response. Now it's Thursday, I call back. Same thing happens, handed off to Denise's voicemail. I left a similar message but mentioned my message on Tuesday morning. Thursday afternoon comes, now I'm frustrated and call again. They hand me off to the administrator. She apologizes and goes directly to my records. Within a few minutes I had the information I needed. I ask "How hard was that" she says it wasn't. I said will you see that somebody gets counseled for this? She assured me they would. Next day, the pre-op visit went well with the doctor and final notifications with my chief pilot and payroll were made. Everything was going as well as possible. Two days before surgery I get a call with the details of the out-of-pocket expense, per their research. Professional and appreciated as always. That evening after normal work hours, 6:30 PM I get a call from a "Restricted" number. "Restricted" numbers are usually used by attorneys, police, DA's, coroners, etc., or someone trying to do something illegal. Note: the call was not "Private", nor "Unknown", but "Restricted". Thinking this better be good, and bracing for the worst, I answered the call. Now, I'm a retired Marine; I don't care much for solicitors' craziness, or disrespect. A female voice spoke "I need to speak to [name]". I responded, "Who the hell is this?" She says "Is this [name]?" To which I reply, "I'm going to ask you once more, who the hell is this?" The woman reluctantly said, "This is [administrative assistant] from the Orthopedic Associates, is this [name]?" I reply, "Wow, why are you calling from a restricted number? After hours?!" I went on to say, "My mother taught me to always introduce yourself THEN ask for whomever you want to speak to!" She said, "I don't need a lecture on phone etiquette from you." I said, "I'm thinking you do, and how hard would it have been to say "Hello, my name is Denise from Dr. J. Cantrell's office, my I speak to whoever....)?" She explained she was calling from her cell phone. I shared with her this only reinforces my lack of confidence in her work. A few business questions were asked and answered nothing that couldn't be handled during business hours the next day. The conversation went downhill from there and we hung up. I still have no idea what the call was about. Maybe upset that I complained about her the previous week to the administrator. Next day at 2:30pm, about 18hrs before the surgery I get a call from the office Administrator Sherrill ... "Mr. [name] I have some bad news regarding your surgery. Because you were upset with Denise for calling you on a restricted line last night and shared your lack of trust and confidence in his administrative staff, the doctor refuses to do the surgery." I was baffled. I complained and they canceled my surgery. After all of the months spent planning the logistics, they cancel my surgery due to a complaint about one person on their team (an administrative assistant, no less). Inexplicable.

I understand they have got to get through their patient load, but really? 15 minutes of consult only to literally be told "see that picture of those abnormal feet up there?" " Yes, Dr. Suh- I see the picture." Well, your feet are worse!" What!? Goodness. I mean, no need to sugarcoat anything, but wow. Definitely direct. I didn't get a proper explanation for my issue but most of the consult was telling me that my problem would be remedied with a pair of expensive Birkenstocks (also sold in the office) or new shoes in general. Hmmm. He did give me a few exercises and topical ointments to try. Thumbs up there! $70 co-pay, no solution and some pretty blunt commentary left me...not so happy about my experience- Office staff was nice. Everything just seemed rushed and it felt like I wasn't being listened to or valued- the experience made me feel like my issue was not trivial.

The area resembles a burn or scar and appears to be permanent. This risk was never clearly explained to me beforehand. The frontal transplant results were also poor. Hair only grew in the middle of my forehead, while both sides failed to grow in, leaving an unnatural and incomplete appearance. The final result looks uneven and poorly planned. In my experience, Dr. Lipton does not specialize in hair restoration. The procedure involved the use of a machine and outside personnel assisting with the surgery. I strongly believe hair transplantation should be performed by a physician who specializes exclusively in hair restoration and is personally involved in every step of the procedure. I would not recommend going to a general plastic surgeon for hair transplants. Patients should carefully research and choose a specialist
