Fabulous experience all the way through! I will use Dr. Khavari for all of my foot and ankle problems. Her staff was also super friendly and they even allow you to have an emotional support puppy (Nala) sit with you while you go through uncomfortable procedures. I highly recommend her for any foot and ankle issues you might have in the future. I came in with a dislocated pinkie toe and found out it was actually dislocated AND broken and she reset it with zero pain and took X-rays to confirm it was back in place. dr khavari is great, no change in my thoughts about her treatment. I just wanted to give an update about my foot surgery. Last year I was to have surgery in March and I cancelled because I thought the OR (Addison surgical center) was committing highway robbery ($20k just for the OR for a couple hours of which $5k was out of pocket and rest to insurance). Based on my experience in India I thought the Surgeon should be getting paid the most and the OR charge seemed exorbitant. That and Another reason, Nooshin was being to pushy and did not do a good job of explaining that with the $5k for the OR I'd be meeting my out of pocket maximum and wouldn't need to pay anymore out of pocket for the surgery in which case I'd have gone ahead with the surgery. Anyhoo, a month later with the pain still there my wife forced me to look around and after some bad experiences with Texas sports medicine and and another orthopedic clinic I finally saw a surgeon at UT SW and did the surgery on 6/30/2023 at Texas health resources in frisco. Now, this is the shocking part (at least for me)... I cancelled surgery because the charge to insurance was $20k for the OR. Well, Texas health resources hospital in frisco charged $153k to my insurance and ended up getting paid around $52k ($5k out of pocket and the rest from insurance It's been almost 10 months since the surgery and I'm still recovering - I wonder how it would have gone if I had stayed with Dr Khavari and done the surgery in Addison read more

After totally exhausting all my options and not having any good outcomes from other podiatrists, my friend told me about Dr. Khavari. I was so impressed when upon my first examination she told me we need to do an MRI to see what is going on with your foot pain. No other podiatrist had suggested this option. When my MRI came back she went over what needed to be done to get me pain free. She gave me several options and answered all my questions without being rushed. Dr. Khavari is so caring and easy to talk to plus being very professional. All of the staff is great and they are all concerned for my care and getting my foot back to normal. I don't even know where to begin! This office and staff has went above and beyond for me! I have been in so much pain with my foot and this staff took excellent care of me! I am so glad that I was able to find such an amazing doctor!! Dr. Khavari is truly the best doctor I've her had!!! Update - I had surgery in two places on my foot and can confirm that Dr. Khavari is an ARTIST as well as a surgeon with the best bedside manner ever. The surgery center was full of lovely and caring staff and I had an excellent experience. The process to get someone on the line and not wait 14 minutes is not good. Then to ask what do I want when you do pickup...(eek). The first question is to target insurance without the qualifying dialogue of if I'm open to paying out of pocket (I actually have insurance with the federal government -- that's nationally accepted). Dr. Khavari and her staff are the best. My initial visit covered 3 problems with the same foot. After one shot for one issue and non invasive techniques followed over a period of about 8 weeks for another, I am pain free and once again enjoy hiking and walking without the old issues. Dr Khavari had recommendations for shoe inserts, shoes, pain creams, a short-term anti-inflamatory which all combined to make the most nagging of pain issues fade away. Her detailed explanations of what the issues were and how certain treatments would work to alleviate those issues instilled my confidence and trust in her abilities. She and her assistant, Maria combine to coordinate the care and are terrific. When I "graduated" pain free, Dr Khavari said "you know where to find us if you need us again". I have discovered a gem of a doctor! I was assured by her staff that my ingrown toenail procedure would not hurt rather --Dr. Khavari would not hurt me. Boy were they right! She froze the two areas where the needle would go and waited for the numbing of the freezing compound to work.
