I started going to Dr. Roufeh four years ago when my pcp retired. This change has been an unexpected blessing! Dr. Roufeh has multiple specialties which has enabled him to attend easily to my issues. He always makes me feel welcomed and has my best interests in mind. Type of care is internal medicine, however, Dr. Roufeh works hard to address all of your needs regardless of what it is. He is patient & kind and always puts his patients first. Our family has been using this offer for several years. I scheduled an appointment and afterwards their billing department called to inform me they no longer accept my insurance and that they were billing me for an out of network visit. I was shocked as I've been with them for years with no issues. When I asked why I wasn't advised when I made me appointment or when I showed up for my appointment they said it was an oversight. But we're unwilling to do the right thing and not charge me for their mistake. I would just suggest that if you use them, do their job and confirm your insurance is covered. read more

This office will kick you out as a patient if you owe them money. I was charged twice for not showing up for my appointments, Was changed $25 for each infraction. They dumped my even after 25+ years as a patient. Lesson learned I guess but very heartless and greedy. read more

The office experience is nothing short of organized chaos. The staff seem lost at times and become rather rude when questions are asked. Waiting over 30 minutes for your appointment is not uncommon. The doctor's will listen to your concerns about the front of the office. However, they have zero control over their staff. If they did, this problem would have been fixed. read more

Dr. Robert Cook has been my family doctor for 20 years. He has kept me tickin now to almost age 69. He is very thorough, kind and I would never want another doctor. However, at times when Dr. Cook is out and I saw the other doctors in his office, they were very good as well. The office staff and nurses are great at calling in medications and promptly returning calls. I make sure any specialist I have to see sends all test results to Dr. Cook so he has the full picture. I just can't express how happy I have been all these years having him as my doctor. read more

When Dr. Roufeh moved here I was a bit worried about the new office, but I love it. The staff is wonderful. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Which to be honest isn't always the case with office staff. Dr. Roufeh is hilarious on top of being smart and kind. As a plus size woman, being fat shamed is always a concern with Doctors. He doesn't do that at all. Of course we talked about weight but the conversation always focused on support not shame. He talks to you like a human not a body. I had to switch physicians because my previous primary care transitioned to concierge medicine. I decided to take my medical needs here because this is where my husband and all his family seeks care. I have to say, I am seriously disappointed. The office staff is absolutely rude. I have to say this: I work in healthcare. I KNOW what it's like answering phones and call-lights all day. But when I am met with a frustrated sigh at the smallest request, I lose all respect in your practice. Get a new job if you hate people so much. The office/receptionist is the first contact towards the physicians. Her terrible attitude makes their practice seem unapproachable!! I saw Dr. Emily for the first time. I didn't need much, just to establish a baseline as a new patient. She was nice enough, responded to my needs. But it was a busy day and felt rushed! I understand this - no big deal. The nicest person in this office so far has been the phlebotomist. This isn't my last visit. It's such a pain to switch physicians, I will have to give their practice more chances. Should I visit them again with better results, I will amend my review. read more

I've posted my review for Dr. Calley below. Willow Bend Family Medicine is the office he is affiliated with that's located at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano. I haven't used the other two doctors, but Dr. Calley is worth checking out. The office itself is your typical doctors office. The staff seems to do their best to get you in and out as quick as possible. Dr. Calley has been my physician for several years now, at least since his office was located off of the tollway. The reason I continue to come back to him is because he's one of the only doctors I've used that doesn't make you feel rushed or that he's too busy for you. He shows genuine concern and interest for your questions/issues. I've referred some of my friends to Dr. Calley and they also have been pleased with him. He's a good doctor and I hope to utilize his services for many years to come. read more

"Let's go Brandon" is a quote Dr. Cook uses during one of my appointments and Dr Cook will falsified documents, which I have proof from recording him during a visit. He might not be the doctor you think he is. I been seeing dr. Cook for almost 2 years. I was referred to him by my previous doctor that retired during the pandemic. I was in a need of a doctor quickly b/c of my medication. Since I became a patient I did not agree with such as $15.00 fee to refill a prescription which I was told that's is a fee they receive when they submit the prescription. I contacted dr.first the iprescribe software Dr. Cook uses and that is FALSE. Also, anyone that gets a control substance prescribed to them is required for a drug screening every 3 months which the patient has to PAY for when there is NO law requiring a drug screening. I NEVER asked to be put on this medication and wish I didn't need it. I been taking this same medication for over 10 years and I had drs that would request it once a year which is responsible. Dr. Cook told me today he will no longer be my doctor since I refused to take a drug screening b/c I am tired of paying for the test. If you're on probation you do not get drug screened this often? They take advantage of patients that need medication daily to function. Willow Bend Family Medicine is a total money grab fraudsters and do not care about the patients. read more

I was amazed there was no long wait, I was seen by the nurse and doctor in a timely manner and Dr.Roufeh listened to all my concerns. Dr. Cook and his staff are great! Dr. Cook cares so much for his patients. He is a knowledgeable, compassionate and understanding doctor. My family has been under his care for many years. His entire staff has been there for me, personally as my husband had an aggressive cancer. Everyone was so supportive for my entire family during this time. Dr. Calley also cared for my husband. I checked the reviews and went in there hoping and expecting good service but no sign of Dr. William Calley after waiting 30 minutes over my scheduled appointment time. Upon asking the staff, found out there are 2 more people before me, this is already after a half hour waiting. I don't know if the doctor is good or bad because I might not get to see him but a word of advice, don't go here if you have any other plans for the day because you will be here, waiting, for a long long time. Edit: I finally saw the doctor after waiting 40 minutes and he was nice so I am bumping my review up to 3 stars. read more

Dr Cook has been my doctor for approximately 25 yrs . He is a fabulous diagnostician. His staff is also top notch. His physician assistant Emily Luevanos is also completely excellent at handling anything you throw at her. This is the worst medical office I have ever been to. I was Dr. Calley's patient for 4 years, and in that time, visited them approximately 7-8 times. I ALWAYS had to wait from 30-55 minutes for Dr. Calley, but to add insult to injury, when I would open the door to ask how much longer he would be, and could I please leave the door open as I'm claustrophobic (very small rooms with no windows) I was met with cold stares and even told once "if you leave the door open, he might not realize you are in there and could miss you. You need to keep the door closed" EXCUSE ME?? No "oh absolutely, mam! We're so sorry for the wait..." or anything! Just treated me like I was inconveniencing them by asking AND by being claustrophobic! Several people, not just one, were very rude to me over the 4 years, and I just felt like every time I went in, Dr. Calley only wanted to give me a pill to treat my symptom, not treat the problem, and together with his incredibly unfriendly staff, I have changed doctors.
