I really can't say enough wonderful things about my year-long experience with Dr. LoMonaco and his staff! After losing 120 pounds through diet and exercise and waiting an additional year before contemplating excess skin removal surgery, I knew I wanted to find one of the most qualified plastic surgeons available to work on my full body makeover. I did my research and found many bariatric plastic surgeons all over the country, but the one thing that stood out the most about Dr. LoMonaco was all of his incredible, heartfelt reviews from former patients and the fact that none of them were negative... I knew then and there I needed to fly down to Houston to meet him in person for a consultation. It was obvious from the very beginning that Dr. LoMonaco truly cares for his patients and has extensive experience working with those who have lost massive amounts of weight. This kind of weight loss is life changing, both physically and emotionally, and Dr. LoMonaco really understands that. He talked with my mom and I for a couple of hours throughout the entire, lengthy consultation answering every one of the many questions we had and ultimately made sure I was completely comfortable with the idea of moving forward. He also gave me a copy of his book, "Bariatric Plastic Surgery: A Guide to Cosmetic Surgery After Weight Loss," to read to further understand the many procedures I was scheduled to undergo. I would highly recommend reading this book to anyone interested in undergoing bariatric plastic surgery as it was very thorough and informative! When the time came for my two different surgical procedures, which occurred several months apart, both Dr. LoMonaco and his surgical nurse and right-hand woman, Destiny, made sure I felt very well cared for and completely comfortable throughout the entire experience. They both checked in throughout my hospital stay to make sure my pain was well managed and to ensure I was up and walking around. My first surgery included a lower body lift and breast lift with augmentation and my second surgery included an arm lift and inner thigh lift. Once I returned home after surgery, his fabulous nurses, Chela and Destiny, called at least once a day to check in on my post-surgical condition and provided instructions for my mom for at-home care. They also gave us an on-call cell phone number to both call and text at any time to ask questions, send pictures, and receive additional support. Whenever we were unsure about anything, such as the condition of my incisions, the fit of my compression garments, or even the application of the Embrace scar therapy strips, his nurses, Chela, Vicki, and Destiny, were all happy to have my mom and I come into the office without an appointment to make sure everything was being taken care of properly, which was a huge relief! I recently traveled back to Houston to have my one-year check up to assess any concerns I had with my body post-surgery and to take my "after" photos and felt welcomed back with open arms. Dr. LoMonaco and Destiny went out of their way to accommodate my travel schedule for my small scar revision procedure, which was provided free of charge in his office as a part of the many special services they offer that seem to go above and beyond the norm. Seeing my "before and after" photos together was amazing as well and I am beyond thrilled with my results! Dr. LoMonaco and his staff truly do operate as a fully competent, highly professional team and you can tell each staff member communicates effectively with one another so that everyone is in the loop at all times. After losing more than 100 pounds in my early 30s, I found myself feeling frustrated that I had done the work to transform my body but couldn't comfortably flaunt it. I had a tremendous amount of excess skin around my abdomen and long, deflated breasts. After meeting with several surgeons in New York, I was referred to Dr. Lomonaco by a former patient, who had wonderful things to say about his skills and care after her own body and breast lift a few years back. I flew to Texas to meet him, and was so immediately impressed that I booked a surgery date on the spot. Dr. Lomonaco's understanding of the body and its forms goes well beyond anatomy. He describes ideal proportions of the body in the context of Renaissance art. We discussed not only the things I wanted to change about my body, but also the things I liked about it. It isn't easy for a woman to speak openly about her body, but Dr. L creates a safe space to explore it, in a way that no one I've met, physician or otherwise, has ever quite managed to do. Leading up to my surgery date, Dr. L made himself and his staff--Destiny 1, Destiny 2, Chela, Vicki and everyone else--very available to me, answering questions and concerns big and small, and generally facilitating my comfort and calming my nerves at every turn. When I arrived in Texas for my pre-op appointment, he even remembered how much I loved the scent of palo santo, and surprised me with a few sticks of the calming incense to have on hand. My surgery took place at Houston Methodist St. John Hospital in Clear Lake, TX. Dr. L was the last smiling face I saw when I fell asleep and the first I saw when I came to. In the days following my surgery, I saw Dr. L and his nurses nearly every day. They stayed in constant contact with my husband and I, answering every question promptly and comprehensively. They stayed on top of my medications and offered solutions for me when I wasn't able to tolerate the strong painkillers. Most importantly, they made me feel human and dignified when I was at my most vulnerable. That high level of care continued after I was discharged from the hospital; I heard from Dr. L's team every day for nearly two weeks. They helped me manage some small issues that arose (very common and none the fault of any doctor or nurse--a UTI, and a minor infection at one of my drain sites, and a small opening in the incision beneath my left breast). I am now more than a month post op and still cannot get over how fine and delicate the incisions, and how perfectly Dr. L executed the vision we discussed. He retained my hourglass shape and lifted and sculpted my breasts so that they are full and a natural match for the rest of my body. I am the most scrupulous critic of tummy tuck belly buttons, and truly would not be able to pick mine out of a lineup. After reading glowing reviews of the services provided by Dr. John LoMonaco, I can't help but ask myself - what sets him apart from his peers, that he would so consistently score highest star ratings? Having sustained a weight loss approaching 100 lbs with follow-up breast reconstruction, lower body lift and vertical thighplasty all performed by Dr. L, I believe it can be summed up in one word: "normal"; or more aptly expressed -"best!-normal". He has the unsurpassed capacity to establish or restore your "best!-normal"! First, he has fine-tuned his skills to exclusively meet body contour needs (he won't do face/neck lifts; but did recommend Dr. Russell Kridel, who could - and did an amazing job on me; a red flag should go up if a plastic surgeon claims to excel at head/neck procedures, as well as body contouring - I know because I've made that mistake in the past). By fine-tuned, I mean Dr. L refined an obvious natural talent to the level of surmounting the really complex cases (for example the procedure he performed on national television - TLC "Big Medicine"). One only achieves that type of proficiency by doggedly pursuing a passion and treating volumes of patients - each with their own unique set of problems. My "aha! moment" came when I was at a consultation with a 5th plastic surgeon and the patient coordinator mumbled something about how their surgeon did a lot of contour cases except the really tough ones like what Dr. LoMonaco does, which was my lightening bolt of clarity (I responded - "Who?", sensing her immediate remorse for mentioning his name; so - even though I was weary of the selection process, I opted for one more journey to Houston, this time to consult with Dr. L). Seriously - why contemplate anyone else! Surely, I reasoned, Dr. L could normalize me if he could succeed with the really tough cases. Or imagine, if you only needed breast enhancement or a tummy tuck - no doubt; Dr. L would be the go-to surgeon. Second, he actually studies your problem before going to the OR and details his plan (sounds funny, but most just give a cursory glance). Third, he is realistically direct (some may interpret as blunt) and won't "sugar-coat" what he can and can't do. On the flip side, a compassionate overall countenance is recognizable. Fourth, his high-star rating is supported by an "all-star" staff - Destiny, Chela, Vicki, Stacy, Crystal and Lauren have all been a pleasure. Destiny and Chela, his OR assistant and nurse - respectively, both offer their cell phone numbers and friendly support 24/7. Finally, my path to weight loss has been a long one, accompanied by many bumps in the road. I began by psyching myself into believing that I was "normal" and strived to eat like a "normal" person for just one day at a time. However, the resultant residual lax skin was anything but normal, and something no amount of exercise could alter. Now healing from my last surgery, the vertical thighplasty by Dr. L, I can see that I didn't acquire the thighs of Giselle; but then again, didn't become fluent in mandarin either. Dr. LoMonaco is not your average plastic surgeon. He is caring and a very competent surgeon who will provide his opinion with the upmost respect for you as a patient. He is very detail oriented and would sit with you to explain every process in detail and answer all your questions and concerns. Beyond his experience as a top notch surgeon, he is a class act who is truly interested in the best outcome for you. He will not give you empty promises or say yes to you just to agree with you. My first encounter with Dr. LoMonaco was by chance when I had called his office back in November to schedule a free breast augmentation appointment. By this time, I had already narrowed down to three top surgeons in Houston. Dr. LoMonaco was booked solid through late January for any new patients. I took a chance and got online to find his e-mail contact via RealSelf to let him know of my disappointment because I could not schedule the consultation with him sooner. He immediately replied back and tell me to come see him at 5-5:30pm that same day! I was utterly surprise to see he actually answered his e-mail the same day nonetheless to tell me to come in after business hours. When my husband and I arrived at his office, his assistants were extremely polite and nice even though their office was already closed for the day. We met Dr. LoMonaco expecting a quick 15-20 minutes consultation because of the late hour and from our experience visits with other PS. Our conversation started off with personal subject non-related to why we were there. That in itself took 15-20 minutes of his time. I am not sure if it was his way of easing us into the real subject matter or not, but his "little" conversations upon meeting him made us feel comfortable. We were ready to commit to his service and care before he even started discussing anything related to breast augmentation. Dr. LoMonaco was extremely thorough in his consultation. Never was a moment during our consultation that he tried to sell himself to gain our business! He confirmed all that we've been researching in regard to the procedure and much more. Dr. Lomonaco and his staff are all AHH-MAZING!!!! I was heavy my entire life and yo-yo'ing between 250-350 lbs for nearly 10 yrs, even while having a lap band, that i did not use to its full potential. I finally committed to hiring a trainer to help me get and stay on track. Two years later, i was pleased with my training, but still not the way my body looked. My logic and photos told me i was smaller, healthier, stronger and, i feel better than i ever had. However, my eyes still told me something much different. i still saw the same body in the mirror when i was 350 lbs, despite having lost over 140 lbs!! You can imagine how frustrating and disheartening that is. A friend told me about Dr. L and, i checked out his website before/after photos and, read into the procedures he offers, reviews, etc. WOW, for once i had a little glimmer of hope. Made the initial consult and, was convinced he was the surgeon for me and, that his lower body lift procedure would be the start of a whole new life. The consult itself was, ironically comforting as well. I was absolutely nauseous at the thought of anyone needing to exam VERY personal areas of my body. Upon finally committing to a breast augmentation (BA) after waiting so many years, I pretty quickly realized that - aside from the prerequisite board certification - searching for a qualified cosmetic surgeon is much like shopping for a new car if one doesn't really know where to begin. I ran an internet search on top plastic surgeons of Houston and Dr. LoMonaco's name was one of those listed. I relied heavily on the information within each surgeon's website, as well as patient reviews and the surgeon's body of work (no pun intended) in their photo galleries. I made the decision to go ahead and schedule a consultation with Dr. LoMonaco and his staff. First thing that crossed my mind upon meeting Dr. LoMonaco: he looks like a really handsome version of Star Trek's Data character (for you sci fi geeks out there). I know, this has nothing to do with his work, but it really was the first thing that crossed my mind. As I listened to Dr. LoMonaco talk about himself and what he does and does not specialize in, I realized I'd made the right choice in surgeons. This doctor answered all of my questions and prompted me to ask more; he wants his patients to be as well informed as possible regarding their choice prior to and after the surgical procedure. Dr. LoMonaco also has a great sense of humor, and you have no idea just how important something like this is when it comes to making an anxious patient more at ease. He answered all of my concerns with confidence and expertise, which made me feel better about the safety issues with the implants I ultimately chose for my BA. Another reason that I felt I'd made a great choice in Dr. LoMonaco is that he did NOT try to push a larger size on me than what I really wanted. I'm 53 at the time of this writing, and at my age, I did not want anything that looked fake or over the top. Dr. LoMonaco agreed totally with what I wanted and reinforced my choice by telling me his opinions regarding my then-current breast size, the width of my chest area and what my skin could handle. Now, that is not to say that the doctor would not acquiesce to your wishes in whatever BA size you wish, but he *will* be realistic with you in explaining the pros and cons. Dr. LoMonaco's entire staff is so friendly and professional and great at making their patients feel at ease. I personally believe a surgeon's choice of staff is reflective of the way the doctor carries out his or her business. One more reason I feel I made a great choice with Dr. LoMonaco is that he's a true artist. Getting procedures done? Don't know where to go? You have come to the right place! I visited many doctors and went through many uncomfortable consultations before I said "This is the one!" Now why would someone as meticulous and demanding as myself say such a thing? I emailed him and got a response from Dr. Lomonaco, himself within the next 5 hours... WOW!!! Then I scheduled a consultation in person - his office is in an adorable and extremely welcoming office, in which I was offered a seat and a drink while I waited. The wait was for approximately 45 minutes (which would be the ONLY long wait I've had.) The consultation consists of you telling him what you would like to get done (breast augmentation in my case), getting pictures taken, him giving you options while he shows you how your results will be in the end with photo edited pictures (which pretty much leaves you in an "OMG THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WANT!" and last but not least, an estimate of how much your bill will be (1 full hour). I love that he is upfront, sets expectations, makes sure that you understand everything and takes his time. Next, was my fitting and got instructions of do's & don'ts for the night before and after surgery. I also had his and his assistant's (Destiny) cell phone numbers, just in case I had any questions. The day of surgery, I had Destiny to my side every second of the way. I remember how much she treated me like family and even had my hand held until I was out. Dr. "Lo" was so calm and gave me reassurance. Next thing I remember was saying "I told you I wouldn't go to sleep, I think I might need more juice" To my surprise, Destiny said "We're all done, Sweety" and sure enough, the surgery was over! His office always makes me feel like I am a family member and not another patient. His work is immaculate. He is an artist of his trade and I LOVE my implants! His rates aren't the lowest, but they also aren't the highest. Besides, I would rather pay a little more and get amazing results instead of having "cheap work" done on my body and risk having to go in for corrective surgery. This is an update to my review posted on 11-4-12. After healing from my LBL surgery in September, I was delighted with the results for my abdomen and torso, and Dr. LoMonaco did remove a lot from my thighs and as much as possible from the buttocks. However, the skin on my thighs did not fully adhere back to the underlying muscle tissue as it should have during the healing process, and Dr. L and I decided together that a follow-up surgery would be beneficial in correcting this problem. So, I had a second surgery with him in March, and am now nearly recovered from that, with a very good improvement. He did not charge me for the second surgery and covered part of the hospital costs as well. Despite the fact that it would have been better not to have had to have a second surgery to get a complete result, the issue I had was not anyone's fault, it was just the way my body healed, and Dr. LoMonaco's care for me has been exemplary in every way. I have not paid him anything since the initial surgery and yet have been seeing him as often as needed since then, sometimes once every week or two, to ensure that I was healing properly. Let me tell you - when you first think about choosing a surgeon, you may be inclined to compare costs and what they say they will deliver, as indeed you should, but I am now aware of how critically important it is to know the reputation of the surgeon in terms of how he/she will care for you if everything doesn't go perfectly, after the money is in their bank account, when you need to be seen more often than expected or to have an unexpected problem solved. These are things you may not think about up front as you envision your "perfect" new body. But I am now even more sure than ever that I made the right choice in Dr. LoMonaco. He has provided excellent, compassionate, responsive and skillful care all the way through this long process, and for that I will always be grateful. I can't say how it would have been if I had chosen another surgeon, but at this point, I give my highest recommendation to Dr. LoMonaco. I also love Michelle, the massage therapist at Dr. L's office who does lymphatic drainage massage. She is awesome too! read more

41 years old and after 2 kids and the weight gains and losses that accompany pregnancy, my chest was a 36DD and sagging so far down that a proper support bra was so uncomfortable and causing a great deal of pain! I finally decided it was time to do something for me! I researched plastic surgeons in the Houston area and I only wanted to see the BEST! I have never had surgery before and wanted to be reassured that I would have the best care possible. I found Dr. Lomonaco and chose him based on hundreds of positive reviews I read and the fact that he was extremely personable, took as much time as I needed to answer questions, and I felt tremendously confident with his knowledge and experience! The morning of the surgery I saw him in pre-op, he asked me if I had any questions, he drew on me, and the anesthesiologist gave me something to "relax" before the OR, well I don't remember anything until recovery! They gave me pain meds in recovery until I was comfortable to leave. Slept the rest of the day and most of the next and honestly I had very little pain until day 4 post op when I developed an accumulation of fluid that needed to be drained and started having some pain and just feeling sick. I emailed the doctor about it Wednesday night before Thanksgiving and he emailed me back in the middle of the night and again on Thanksgiving. I made an appointment to see him the following Tuesday. At that appointment, he drained out a considerable amount of fluid and the nurse removed some glue. After the glue was removed, I could see how wonderful they looked! I wasn't expecting the breast to be so full with only a lift, and a reduction (with no implants) since other pictures of breast lifts I had seen did not have as much upper pole fullness, but mine are so full that the nurse in his office thought I had implants! Dr. Lomonaco did an amazing job! I hope to go back in the summer for a tummy tuck! I highly recommend him. I set up a consultation with Dr. LoMonaco after a disappointing consultation with another doctor in my area. When I called, Vicki answered and set up the consultation. She was super friendly and helpful. At the consultation, I met with Destiny and Dr. LoMonaco. They were amazing -- put me at ease and answered all of my questions. I had a breast augmentation 10 years ago (by another doctor) and after my pregnancy, had started experiencing bottoming out on my left breast and major volume loss at the top. Dr. LoMonaco spoke with me at length about options and how to achieve my goals. I never once felt rushed or uncomfortable during this process. I had a second appointment to discuss in depth, the plan, implant type, etc. Again, the staff (Vicki, Chela, Destiny) were all great and I felt that every question was answered. On the day of surgery, the St. John Methodist Hospital staff were great. I felt relaxed during the entire process - hospital staff was attentive, anesthesiologist group was informative and talked to me before surgery, and Destiny and Dr. LoMonaco came in before surgery to go over the plan again and mark my breasts for surgery. Pain Management after surgery was great - I was able to stay ahead of the pain without feeling completely out of it and was able to get off my pain meds 3 days after surgery. This surprised me as Dr. LoMonaco had to fix my pockets in surgery from my first augmentation and correct my bottoming out issue. His incisions work and stitch work were great! His office called me daily for a week to check up on me. I was nauseous for the first few days and they were quick to call the pharmacy to help me with that. All post op appointments were great and I couldn't be happier with the results! I had full confidence in Dr. LoMonaco going in to surgery, but I couldn't have guessed how amazing his work could actually be!! I live 2 hours from Houston, and honestly, I would drive double that before going to see another doctor! read more

As a medical industry professional, I am critical of treatment and the overall experience of healthcare within the industry - especially when I am the patient. I researched thoroughly before I chose a cosmetic surgeon and chose Dr. LoMonaco based on his reputation, conscientious attention to detail and his professionalism (as well as his staff's). It was clear to me that he has an elevated sense of attention to detail and he thoroughly articulates reasonable outcome expectations, listens intently to questions and anticipates concerns. I received a tummy tuck as well as extensive lipo re contouring for an overall fabulous result. In addition, some unattractive tissue healing from a previous surgery was resolved. I am over 90 days post op and could not be happier. I experienced a relatively common post operative complication that he and his staff managed beautifully. Dr. LoMonaco prepared me pre-operatively for this possibility which was quite helpful. Both he and his staff were attentive, listened to my questions, answered them truthfully and his bedside manner is excellent. The staff were lovely, kind and compassionate. And remember, I am quite critical of these things due to my work within the industry. When staff says they will call, they call. When he says he will do something, he does it. Priceless in the industry these days and rare rare rare. Aside from his clinical technique, this sets his office apart from the other surgeons I considered. There are many hacks out there doing body procedures and this man is not one of them. I would recommend his talent and expertise to anyone who wants a body procedure. I have to say this right off the bat, Vicki the Esthetician is absolutely beautiful and has amazing, perfect, wrinkle free skin! Who doesn't want that?! Vicki is extremely professional, easy to talk to, and has a very effervescent personality. Being a big question asker, (I am sure I can be a bit annoying at times) Vicki was knowledgeable beyond my expectations. She answered all my questions and then some. That's a huge deal to me. It had been 3 years since the last time I had facial fillers and Botox. (I was living in California at the time) Vicki was so thorough, explaining everything to me and what would benefit me and where. Things have changed a bit in 3 years and I must say I was very impressed with all of her up-to-date information. So much so, I am going to be having Photo Facial Treatments soon. My 16-year-old daughter will be seeing her for her acne issues. Vicki is VERY, VERY GENTLE with the injections. I have left other places with immediate bruising, not so with Vicki. I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire visit. (Another reason I will continue to see Vicki.) My forehead is wrinkle free and the small tiny lines around my eyes are barely noticeable. I did not go in with the intention of having my upper lip "plumped" up. I did not want "trout mouth"! But after looking at Vicki's beautiful lips, and talking to her, I went ahead and let her work her magic on my upper lip (My bottom lip is still looking good) I have always had full lips, but as one ages, they tend to disappear. I had been interested in getting breast augmentation after losing weight and not being happy with my breasts. I had researched many of the top surgeons in the Houston area and found Dr. Lomonaco. He had amazing reviews so I decided to get a consultation with him. After a 2 hour and very thorough meeting with him, I knew he was my guy! He took his time with me, really listened to my questions, concerns and how I envisioned my body to look. I felt very confident about him and his work. We agreed upon me having a small breast lift with minimal scaring with a full C or small D implant. I didn't want to go too big because of body frame. I'm 5ft 6in, 130lbs and athletic...I needed the implants to fit by body type and still look natural. We set up a surgery date and everything went smoothly. He brings in multiple size implants to make sure he gets the perfect size and look in the range his patient agrees upon. Going in i had thought I was getting a 325 cc and while in surgery he decided on a 290 cc implant. They look amazing!!! I love my breasts! They fit my body, they're perky, full and look natural! All my clothes look great and I feel so much more confident! Destiny and Shayla have been my heaven sent angels helping me through all of my follow up appointments and answering all of my questions, numerous phone calls over any concern I had and never once did i feel uncomfortable. After my 6 month mark, I was going in to have a revision done on some of my lift scars because of darker skin. I'm hispanic and have more olive skin tone. I have been working with Vicki at Dr. Lomonaco's office and she has been wonderful. She's very knowledgeable and now my scars are hardly noticeable. I was not intending to do any plastic surgery - I was just going to support a friend. In fact, I had always been somewhat skeptical and dismissive of PS in general. But the more she talked about her procedure and researched doctors, the more intrigued I became. We interviewed a number of doctors all over the US and in Brazil. Ultimately, however, we decided on Dr. John LoMonoco in Houston, TX. I have always been in shape, and athletic, but after a c section and full abdominal hysterectomy, I had a gut that just wouldn't go away - and Dr Lo said he could fix that! I chose Dr. LoMonoco as much for what he said WASN'T necessary or advisable as for what he said he could do. He was very realistic in setting my expectations for what I would look like post surgery, and even discouraged me from pursuing an additional procedure, because he just felt that I wouldn't really see a WOW improvement, just so-so - and he's all about great results! I have never been more pleased to shell out 13K! 100% pleased with results and my curvaceous new figure ! Our recovery and post surgical care was pretty uneventful - I was walking a mile after one week! Okay, it was a slow mile, and I was tired afterwards - but I was up and moving and recovered very quickly. I am now 7 months post op - fully active, playing tennis, walking 2-3 miles daily and rocking a bikini like I never thought I would at 53! Breast Implant Replacement/Tummy Tuck After I read numerous on line reviews about different plastic surgeons, Doctor, John Lo Monaco appeared to be the surgeon with the qualifications I was looking for. At his office, Dr. Lo Monaco answered with confidence, all of my many questions making me feel at ease. The depth of his knowledge and his compassion made me feel safe. I knew I made the right choice. Fifteen years ago, I had breast implants and I needed them to be replaced. And after my pregnancy with twins, my tummy had stretched out. Throughout the surgery preparation, the medical staff explained with clarity, what to do and not to do, before and after surgery. I really felt like I was in good hands. We also discussed my skin type which is subject to keloid. I was happy to know that Dr. Lo Monaco and his Surgical Assistant, Destiny were experienced in surgeries on my type of dark skin tone. After surgery, Dr. Lo Monaco repaired my breasts and now they look more natural. However, one of the most important things he did with my breasts was that he thoroughly cleaned and removed scar tissue, which had formed as a result of my first implants. He then sent a sample of the substance to the lab for biopsy to make sure that everything was ok. Luckily, the results from the lab came out negative. And just for that, I'm grateful. As for my tummy tuck, Dr. Lo Monaco did an outstanding job! He definitely used his magical talents to make me look and feel beautiful. I absolutely loved my experience with Dr. LoMonaco and his staff. I had my breast lift with him on 2/18/2016 after a consultation and pre-op appointment. He was very patient with all my 1,000 questions and concerns. He was honest and realistic about my outcomes. I didn't want to be told what I wanted was possible if it was not. His surgical approach made so much sense. I was a 32D/DD before surgery and did not want to be any bigger, just fuller and more lifted. I have 175cc moderate profile plus implants above the muscle. My recovery was wonderful. No excessive pain, no nausea. I followed his instructions to the letter and I am so pleased with my results. I am currently wearing all my old bras, but the beautiful thing is that when I take the bra off - my breasts just stay there!! The scars are healing wonderfully as well. I could not imagine what I would look like if I had gotten 400cc+ implants like other surgeons suggested after hearing that I wanted to stay the same size. Dr. LoMonaco took the time to listen to me and really provide me with the breasts I dreamed of. His office staff and nurses are caring and compassionate. Tummy Tuck and Breast Lift I am 30 years old and someone that has never really thought about the idea of plastic surgery in any means. I have always believed that what body you have it the one you keep and the only improvements that should be done are the ones you achieve through hard work in the gym and eating healthy. Well, lets just say my opinion quickly changed after have to very large babies, one via-section. After two pregnancies and breast feeding both kids...what I was left with was a body that didn't belong to me. This wasn't me, this isn't who I wanted to be for the rest of my life. Even though I spent hours in the gym and have a very clean diet, I would always be left with this saggy mid-section and breast. Even though as a mother its easy to analyze the situation and say "my body is what I sacrificed for my children" no one wants to feel like the best is over. Women want to feel desired and sexy, thats exactly what Dr. Lomonaco has given back to me and it has only been six weeks post surgery. Yes, I still have a Frankstein ish cut across my bikini line...but I'm already back in the gym and at the pool with my kids and it hasn't even been 2 months. I had a great experience with Dr. LoMonaco and his super friendly staff! They all did their best to make me feel comfortable from my initial consultation all they way through until after my surgery. Being overly methodical whenver a big decision is involved, I had consultations with a handful of various doctors before meeting Dr. L, but knew at the beginning of my consult with him that he was the doc for me! He was very knowledgeable & spoke to me in a way that was less clinical and more informal, which in addition to answering all of my questions, really helped to ease any apprehensions I had. I really appreciated that he took his time in speaking to me and answering my questions (I think my first consult was quite long!) because I never felt like I was wasting his time or "just another number." He just had a way of making me feel very comfortable. Before my surgery he swiftly came to the rescue when I bombarded him with a pile of last minute concerns, which only further confirmed I had made the right decision. I knew that he had a full understanding of my ultimate goal and I trused him to carry that out. My experience at the hospital where I had the surgery was also great! The staff that helped prep me there, before his own came for the actual procedure, were all so kind & friendly. Over the last two years I lost 125lbs after battling obesity since childhood.
