I am 3 1/2 weeks post surgery from a mommy makeover. I waited 30 years to do this, and had decided…read moreI was either going to have plastic surgery or quit thinking about it. After interviewing three surgeons, I decided on Dr. LoMonaco. Before I even told him my vision, he described the way he sees my body and it was the same as I see it. We discussed realistic expectations, and were in agreement. Though my weight is far from being ideal, it is my stable weight and has been for quite some time. I was ready to be smoothed out and have the excess skin & some fat removed and my breasts reconfigured. I am pleased with the bodywork, and my breasts will probably need a revision in six months: this was expected, considering what we started with. I have always been able to contact Destiny and Chela (including having their cell phone numbers), and Dr. LoMonaco answers his own emails. I feel my care has been very good. In my early results I can see that my expectations have been met, and in some ways surpassed, with regard to my body.

When I had my tummy tuck I lost a lot of blood and development a hematoma. When I went for my follow up visit after being at the hospital for two days he drained the excess of fluid and it goes worse and developed a high risk infection. After multiply visits to Dr. LaMonaco's office my wound wouldn't heal, he found GAUZE inside my incision! It's a shame that's such a high end hospital such Methodist Clear Lake would work with a such a doctor. He is not caring or professional and only cares about the money. Now I need to find another surgeon to correct my butchered procedure. I have a video where he admit everything , he paid people to take off all the bad reviews !! And went I was in his office after he see patients he talk about it !! He is mental disable, he think all the patients wants to have sex with him.

Since then she has sent 6 or 7 her girlfriends to get the same and all of them were happy with his work. So I've decided to go and see him too. He knows exactly what you want, he is very gentle and respectful. You don't feel awkward with him at all! He answered all our questions and wasn't in a hurry. It took a lot of time for me to decide what size I want.. and he was really patient. My husband and loved a 3D computer imaging he showed us! It was neat! So right away after the consultation we decided that we want that Dr Adam has to do my surgery. And we made an appointment. And now I'm one of the lucky girls who has boobs! Even though it was really painful! Especially first 3 days! My breast was almost flat - not even A cup! And

The only reason I had him revise it is because I couldn't afford to pay the another $10,000 dollars. First he told me it was $500 to cover anesthesia then after we scheduled the revision and it was $1,000 then when confronted it was $500 again. I showed up for an appt on time and he never saw me. I waited 1 hour. I was told I could reschedule and that they he got backed up. After my surgery I wasn't even coherent and found 2 people from his staff dressing me to leave. I was in so much pain I cried so loudly. They did not care. They continued to pull me off table and wheel me out. He never spoke to my husband after surgery . I was not given a post op bra and was told when confronted that they forgot and that I could use my bra from my first surgery. Totally unacceptable. He waits 14 days for the surgery post ops and has patients use a cell phone to show photos of concern. When I sent pictures to his nurse who is, i was told the one who uses the phone, she either ignores me until I send again or I have to call office to ask her to check phone. When I was concerned my bandages were bloody she advised me to take them off. When I did my incisions were open, clots coming out and at risk infection. My sister a nurse, was appalled that there were no steristips under the bandages. The nurse said to put antibiotic cream and that the bandages we're " a new kind of steristrip" a lie. I was so upset I demanded an appt. When I saw him he did no even look at my incisions on my right breast. He was on my left, when I asked him he said he did, another lie. Today I went for my second follow up since my January 9 revision survey. I waited for over 40 min to see him again. He was with a patient, i understand drs get backed up but when that patient left they brought another into that room. He decided rather than see me he went into that room and didn't see me yet again. I went to the front desk with my gown on and asked why. She said she would check. She went to talk to him in the other room, they then walked into the hall where he said something so offensive I will not repeat. She then came back to me, said he was with a patient for a post op from yesterday. He doesn't do post ops for 14 days another lie. I left the room to go home and was asked if I wanted to make another appt. I told them I was done and will never step back in that office again, I was never given an apology, I was never called to explain, apologize nothing. This office is interested only in money in my opinion. If I can save one patient from dealing with this behavior I feel I have helped.

I felt that the office got me in quickly and scheduled my surgery in a timely manner which was important to me. I opted for saltine implants again. Going in, I had assumed due to me being in my forties with implants for years that I would require a lift as well. Dr Moliver was honest with me and said that my breasts look natural and a lift was not necessary unless I wanted a more " va va voom " ( my words not his) look. The natural look was fine with me since it's what I was use to seeing myself as. He could have " upsold" me but did not. I am a nurse for many years and I was probably more nervous that the average patient for the operation. It was easy. They made it fun. The OR nurses/ staff were great and helped me feel very comfortable. Afterwards they do not prescribe narcotics. I woke up with a supportive bra on and was on my way to get celebrex, gabapentin and Tylenol. My previous surgery I was given narcotics so I was nervous about the pain I would be in. It was tolerable. The snow storm of Houston occurred just a few days later ( 4) and I had no choice but to have to go in to work because I am part of the disaster team. I went in so I wouldn't lose my job and I was able to work with minimal discomfort. I am glad that I chose Dr Moliver. My breasts look really nice now. Pricing I felt was competitive to other plastics offices in the Houston area. (Pic included was first week- they have dropped and look natural now)

Still in awe of how something that was still in process in California for the last 4 months took 3 days to get taken care of here. She has a cyst like blob on her inner bottom lip. We went to our California pediatrician 2x and they said it would go away, 2 months later it was still there so they told us to go to the dentist. Dentist referred us to a pediatric oral surgeon. Still waiting on a call for an appointment. It's been 3-4 months and now affecting her speech and drools. We came here and met a plastic surgeon in town, Dr. Jan. He took a look, said he had the same case a week ago, pretty standard, called his office to check to see if our insurance covered and it did so he scheduled us into surgery on Monday. Our doctor in California never diagnosed her. Told us it was a cyst. Dr. Garcia took a look and told us what it REALLY WAS. The cause was probably an inner lip bite which injured her salivatory gland and caused it to swell and harden. It wouldn't have "gone away on its own" like the pediatrician said on 2 different occasions we paid to come in to diagnose. Dr. Garcia laser cut it and added permanent stitches so we have to go to a doctor in California to remove them. He did that because he didn't want her to bite dissolvable stitches and reopen the wound. The hospital called us to go thru itemized billing and then a nurse called separately to follow up. There was no rush on the phone and everyone was so kind and spoke excellent English. They were able to answer all my questions and concerns and the billing was straightforward and 1/3 of what we would've paid in California. We have Blue Cross PPO. She's out of surgery now and we're just waiting for her to wake up. If we didn't come to Texas, we would still be waiting for care in California. I can't say enough about Dr. Garcia and his team. They made my husband and little girl smile and kept their mind off the surgery and provided some muffins for my husband while in the waiting room while our child was being operated on since he came in at 5 am. Dr. Garcia scheduled her at the earliest time to ease her hunger since she can't eat pre-op and she's only 2 and it would be torture to wait til noon for surgery. Thank you so much and we our family can't thank you enough!
