I needed some gum surgery done and was full of anxiety but he made the procedure easy.

But in this case, I feel it's important to share. I came to this office years ago after moving to Cerritos, right before my wedding, simply looking for a new dentist and a routine cleaning. They had great reviews, which is why I trusted them. From the start, I was told I had extensive issues--multiple cavities needed to be redone and several crowns were recommended. This was surprising to me, as I've consistently gone to the dentist and had never been told I needed such drastic work. Still, I trusted their assessment. The procedures that followed were some of the most painful dental experiences I've ever had. They took hours, felt extremely aggressive, and left me in severe pain afterward--far beyond what I've ever experienced with dental work. I have a high pain tolerance, and this felt very wrong. What was most frustrating was what happened next. I returned multiple times explaining that I couldn't sleep, eat, or function due to the pain. Each time, my concerns were dismissed and attributed to things like not flossing (umm I couldn't floss because of the extreme pain), which didn't make sense given the level of pain I was in. After pushing back repeatedly--especially with my wedding just days away--I insisted something was seriously wrong and requested further evaluation. It turned out I needed three root canals as a result of their prior work. Separately, the crowns that were placed caused ongoing issues. Eating anything with texture would cause gum pain, and I noticed unusual gaps that trapped food. When I brought this up, I was told the only solution was to redo the crowns at additional cost. My crowns also came off. Later, I happened to see a different dentist at the same office (a female provider who may have been temporary), and she immediately noted that the crowns had been placed at an awkward angle. She corrected them, and since then, I've had no pain and no further issues such as crowns falling off. I ultimately switched dentists and have not needed any major dental work since--just routine cleanings every six months, with no recurring problems. Based on what I went through--particularly the aggressive treatment, the outcome, and the dismissal of my concerns--I feel it's important for others to have full context before making a decision.

She stayed with me from the start. I am so glad my dentist (Dr. Ankit Vasa) referred me to him. Not only did he get me in right away (thank you, Soniya) but the office operated like clockwork. I am so grateful for their wonderful care. Thank you all. P.S. It made me happy that he did his schooling in Philadelphia. That was my hometown!

I was there for a consultation and they ended up misplacing my son's referral as well as the CD of his 3D CT scan. I hate that their response was to "simply do another CT scan for my kid for free." That wasn't the point.. the point was they were careless and lost his CD therefore having to reexpose my 7 yr old to more unnecessary radiation from the CT scan. And I'm not kidding when I say that when they literally finished redoing the CT scan they ended up finding the CD on the doctors desk. My husband and I were livid!! Livid with the doctor's office and how they handled my son's medical records that we are highly considering filing a complaint with the medical board. If you want mishandling of medical records and multiple exposures to unnecessary ct scans then this is definitely the place to go. Avoid this place at all cost and go and support another more capable doctor and their offices who deserve and respect your time and health because they 100% will be more organized and will also care more about their patients well being than this office.

I decided to schedule the procedure and I was very pleased to be scheduled in pretty quickly. They have the option of super early appts (7am) which was really great for my schedule. The morning of the procedure everything went as planned with no delays. I was prescribed pain meds and he called me that same day in the late evening to check in and see how I was doing. I missed the call but I appreciated the message. I had some concerns about some pain I was feeling several days after and I was able to email in some pictures for him to take a look at and see if things looked normal. I was relieved to hear back and I was able to get a refill for meds. All in all the experience was very pleasant and I can see why this location has so many 5 stars. I was very happy it was in network too!

I needed 3 impacted wisdom teeth out and 1 that was slightly erupted. Now if I was a kid and got this done, I wouldn't even bat an eye. But since I'm older now, in my 40s, I understand that with an increase in age comes an increase in risks. He explained all the risks and I still felt very comfortable proceeding. IV sedation was the chosen method of anesthesia. Didn't feel anything honestly. Once the drugs started, probably within 3 mins I was out. Not sure if I was actually sleeping with my eyes closed or maybe they were open and I didn't know what was going on. In any case, I don't remember anything and when I came to, it felt like it was maybe 5-10 mins that had passed. It was quite surreal tbh, and I would recommend anyone doing this procedure to do IV sedation. I think general would be overkill (and more expensive), but that's just my opinion. Road to recovery now. Thanks Dr. Adamous!
