As with the review below, I found him to be very knowledgeable and he helped me understand what he was doing as he did my spinal adjustments. He also helped demonstrate and work with me on stretches that will help keep me in alignment for the future. Bottom line, after several very knowledgeable medical professionals, Dr. Aordkian was the one to finally figure out the source of my back pain and do the necessary adjustments to eliminate the pain. His office staff was very helpful and friendly, too. His office is pretty convenient in Grand Concourse, close to Yankees Stadium--it's not as flashy and modern as some other chiropractors downtown, but his expertise was on point.

My primary care physician sent me for an MRI which did show some nerve impingement but he didn't think it was bad enough to recommend surgery and neither of us wanted to start down the road of constant painkillers. My problem had been going on longer than I realized and I was looking forward to non-ending pain if I did nothing. It was my doctor that suggested a chiropractor might be able to help. I was very impressed by how nice and helpful Lisa was before I even got to the office. Both she and Dr. Cucci are VERY personable and it went a long way to assuaging my anxiety. I love that Dr. Cucci took the time to listen and then thoroughly explain everything, both before and during the treatment. He's got a fantastic bedside manner. These are people who care about the patients and the practice. I didn't expect much after the first session but I was pleasantly surprised that I could raise my arm again after only one visit. I also started sleeping better right away because I wasn't waking up every time I moved my arm or neck. He always asks about the progress and where things are hurting before he starts working on me and with every subsequent visit I have found myself with less and less pain and more range of movement again. I also haven't had a headache since I started! I can hardly believe the difference already. I will highly recommend Dr. Cucci.

My last chiropractor, Dr Phil Wilner, who I was a patient of for more than 10 years and who is a fantastic chiropractor, decided to move his practice to Colorado. That was in 2009. Anyways for a few years I was in limbo, I tried a few chiropractors but didn't find anyone who's adjustments worked for me. At one point I gave up and bought an inversion table. Basically its machine that flips you upside down to stretch and straighten out your back. Unfortunately that only does so much and one day I saw Dr Benedikt on Amazon's local deals and decided to give him a try since it was close to where I work. The initial consultation was pretty standard stuff but the back adjustment was exactly what I was looking for (muscle stim, upper back adjustment, hip and neck). YMMV but I've been a patient of Dr. Benedikt's for a year and a half. I go for a back adjustment every month or two. The only thing I wish is, my previous chiropractor put heated towels or heat pads over the area where he did the muscle stims. Aside from that I've been a happy patient.

The receptionist explained today that I must paid $86 dollars first then on second visit will pay $6 since I am covered by Medicare, since I am retired from the government. They said they called the insurance and provided code. I asked what code was provided to the insurance and they refused to provide. I have excellent insurance which this doctor is in Network. I explained this is illegal to ask for money up front to a patient if I am covered. I called my insurance, and they agreed this is illegal to do if they are in network and have a contract with insurance. This is a warning to all those who make an appoinmnet to ask questions and if in doubt of their answer, contact your insurance. Doctors are not to ask for money upfront to a patient if they are in Network and have a contract, this is illegal! Very disappointed.

He is the first one who absolutely refused to manipulate my back and put my spine in alignment. He treats all his patients with electrodes and Ben Gay.
