However, the dentist and hygienist presented me with a plan to do deep cleaning and redo several fillings that were not causing any problem. The proposed work was for several thousand dollar! I attempted to reduce the amount of work they wants to do but they refused! My previous dentist, whom I visited twice a year for decades, would collaborate we me about my care. We had a dentist appointment for my 6 year old son and it went okay at first but, when we first met with the Dentist, Dr. Choe, he was not really child-friendly. For personal reasons, it was my son's first visit to this dentist and so he asked a lot of questions (on anything) to anyone because of his curiosity. But I can tell Dr. Choe wasn't interested in answering questions from my son but instead he just acted like he wanted to get in, get it done and go as soon as he's finished; which made an impression that he's not great with kids. His personality, professionalism and the way he talks is very bland for someone who works at a family type of setting. I was definitely not a huge fan of him! On top of all that, this dentistry is supposed to be a judgement free dentist. I certainly felt judged when they spotted cavities on my son's teeth and the dentist especially made me feel as if we weren't brushing his teeth very well (from his facial expressions and comment). Note: I am doing the best that I can to take care of my son's teeth everyday, twice a day! Overall, my son's hygienist was okay but not so much as the dentist himself.
