They claim the called ans left message but I had no missed calls the day before when they told me they had called. They also said they texted me. Again no text on my phone. No apologies just that they will have to reschedule and they are booking months out. The reason I was given for the last minute cancelation was that a hygienist I was going to re retired. Find it hard to believe someone retired the day before and nobody knew about it in advanced.​

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the dentist Dr. Porter was very friendly with me (mom) and my son, he was also very efficient. The office was very busy while we were there but he didn't seem frazzled, and he wasnt rushed at all.

I found it interesting that x-rays were taken and a visit with Dr. Miller occurred prior to the cleaning, but it did not take away from my experience at all - it was simply different from my previous dental visit routine.

Dentist visit made easy!…read more I despise having teeth work done. The noise, the pain, discomfort...not fun. So, making this appointment was a significant step as I hadn't been to the dentist in quite some time and last time I was living in a different state. I was initially told I'd have to make 2 separate appointments: one for xrays and evaluation, the next for the cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was able to do all of this in one visit! Chelsea was my hygienist and she was amazing! Super gentle, explained everything she was doing during the xrays and evaluation and my teeth didn't hurt at all while she cleaned. I was so much more relaxed that I anticipated. Dr. Rose came in and evaluated quickly; I did have to come back for a few fillings...to be expected by me of course. Prices are fair I guess, as I do not have insurance. They do not accept payment plans however. I don't really mind this as I am more than pleased with my treatment and look forward to keeping up better with my dentistry by coming here.

The entire staff of Maple Way is so friendly and helpful, they truly go above and beyond to provide exceptional care. My hygienist does a very thorough job---and on the few occasions when I've had to see a different hygienist, and they have always been equally thorough. Dr. Rose is one of the kindest, warmest people you'll ever meet, and she is truly an exceptional dentist. In addition to standard dental care, she also does some cosmetic dentistry, and she did an incredible job creating crowns for my front teeth, resulting in a smile that I am often complimented on---prior to that, I was very self-conscious of my smile and always tried to keep my lips closed. I truly can't say enough about how happy we have been with this practice. We are now moving away out of state, and are so sad to leave Maple Way dentistry behind!

Our youngest son was very intimidated by the dentist chair, and refused to sit in it at first. Slowly, Dr. T played games with him and made him comfortable with the dental equipment, easing him into the chair for his exam. Both kids feel proud when they go to the dentist and have a good experience, and I feel confident we are getting the best dental care in the region. They accept our insurance, which of course is a top priority!

He has terrible communication skills and never should've pulled the molar out without my permission and have my daughter suffer so unnecessarily. He is a quack and not to be trusted!

However, the dentist and hygienist presented me with a plan to do deep cleaning and redo several fillings that were not causing any problem. The proposed work was for several thousand dollar! I attempted to reduce the amount of work they wants to do but they refused! My previous dentist, whom I visited twice a year for decades, would collaborate we me about my care. It is the patient's right to determine what is done on their body. It is called patient consent. I would not recommend this dentist to anybody.

We had a dentist appointment for my 6 year old son and it went okay at first but, when we first met with the Dentist, Dr. Choe, he was not really child-friendly. For personal reasons, it was my son's first visit to this dentist and so he asked a lot of questions (on anything) to anyone because of his curiosity. But I can tell Dr. Choe wasn't interested in answering questions from my son but instead he just acted like he wanted to get in, get it done and go as soon as he's finished; which made an impression that he's not great with kids. His personality, professionalism and the way he talks is very bland for someone who works at a family type of setting. I was definitely not a huge fan of him! On top of all that, this dentistry is supposed to be a judgement free dentist. I certainly felt judged when they spotted cavities on my son's teeth and the dentist especially made me feel as if we weren't brushing his teeth very well (from his facial expressions and comment). Note: I am doing the best that I can to take care of my son's teeth everyday, twice a day! Overall, my son's hygienist was okay but not so much as the dentist himself. We ended up going somewhere else after the first appointment, since we didn't have a good experience. Honestly I would not recommend Waterville Family Dentistry to anyone with kids!
