I didn't notice poop in the grass areas and they did post signs stating that dog poop must be picked up. There are beautiful trees and grassy areas to play in. The one thing I didn't like was that the larger play structure has a lot of climbing but no slide! That doesn't make any sense. Also there is no gate surrounding the play area for mom of multiple toddlers.

I wish there were more and they ones they do have are directly in the sun. The other half of the park is kind of empty, with just a few picnic benches and a flat concrete area. It would be awesome if they had even more picnic benches or even added more play structures. The park itself is pretty small. It is never super crowded when I go because it's kind of tucked away, but if there are more than a dozen kids it feels a little chaotic. Always clean though! Plenty of street parking is available.

Great park day with bae…read more I haven't been to Reseda Park in quite some time, but definitely was a frequenter when I lived in Tarzana as well as in Reseda directly across the street on Reseda Blvd, where a good portion of this park resides, encompassing Victory Blvd, Kittridge St and parts of Etiwanda Ave. Easy street parking as well as in their lot off Victory. Great sunny spots, shady tree areas and an awesome lake with a walk path. The wildlife here is abundance, especially the squirrels, geese, ducks, fellow waterfowls and various bird types. Super pup friendly. Two playgrounds, one off Kittridge, with park benches and tables throughout. The playground next to the parking lot on Victory is really modern and also neighbor to their rec center as well as restrooms. Definitely appreciating Reseda Park a lot more after a nice sunny picnic day out. People are friendly, kids are kids curious, carefree, adorable and reckless at times. Don't eat that "Jessica" lol Very spacious and surprisingly more on the mellow side on a holiday weekend. Some vendors do pop up from time to time usually with snacks and eats. Near a few restaurants, shops and grocers as well.

I parked on the street but noticed that there were several tents set up, lots of strewn trash, shopping carts, and some disheveled people walking around. The park has so much space that would have been perfect for me to throw the ball for my dog and do some training, but I just did not feel comfortable to get out of my car with this type of situation. I really really feel that this location has so much potential because it's spacious, there's so many geese walking around, beautiful trees. It is so sad to see it so dirty. I periodically come past this park so next time in the area I'll check it out and see if it's the same, because as mentioned above, in the past in the mornings when I drove by it looked much cleaner and more welcoming than it looks today.

From the street, the playground as well as 75% of this park is obscured from street view. Behind the park lies private homes with the fences of the backyards lining the park on three sides. This is a nice little park but it has a reputation for graffiti, unsavory characters and activities. It is also used by homeowners who walk the hills, kids who play at the playground, dog walkers, and exercise groups. It really offers a lot of hill walking and challenges those who are looking for a workout. Being so small, I'm sure both the good and bad elements of this park collide at times. I suspect being in this park in the dark is not a good idea. The times I've been here are always daytime, usually late afternoon. Today around 6:30pm there was a man sitting at a table, a woman with two kids at the playground, and a person (homeless?) sleeping in a sleeping bag on the slope of the hill going towards the backyards near the back of the park. All was quiet and nothing was suspicious, but there are signs of the unsavory folk scattered around from the graffiti on the tables and benches and the sidewalk and trash consisting of of cigarettes and alcohol bottles. While I don't feel unsafe when at this park, I typically avoid it. It is a shame that such a nice neighborhood has this type of element frequenting the park. It isn't the residents of this neighborhood that trashes this park but because of the privacy that it offers, it just attracts the types who are up to no good as well as the wonderful residents who try to keep it from becoming trashy.
