He's awesome and keeping me alive changing meds to most that work I love to see him, he's listening to me and my history

My Father-In law was a patient of Dr. Gavini for many years. We brought him in a couple of times because he kept falling and was very weak. He also had severe leaning to one side. Dr. Gavini diagnosis was that it was due to a heart valve problem. After ambulances and the fire department were called numerous times to pick him up off the floor, one of the EMT's finally said his leaning was a bad sign and he should go to emergency to be checked out. The E. R. found that he had brain tumors that were now bleeding. It took an EMT to realize something else was going on. Knowing his history of my Father in law having Melanoma in the past Dr. Gavini still couldn't make that connection in his diagnosis, which the E.R. Doctor was able to look up on his chart. We then had to put him on Hospice. Just getting him on Hospice was a choir because we couldn't get the necessary paperwork filled out by Dr. Gavini's office. After a couple days we finally had to go down to the office and put pressure on them to get the paperwork done. The E.R. Doctor which he only meet once showed compassion and called to see how he was doing. NO CALL ever from Dr. Gavini!! read more

Best Doctor that I ever been too! He listens and understands what you need!!! His nurse is exceptional too!!

It was very hard finding an experienced internist to help my elderly mother with her various health problems. I am so happy our family found an excellent internist, Dr. John Gavini. He should not be mixed up or confused with another Hanford doctor--Frank Gavini--who is a cardiologist, not an internist. Right off the bat, I was happy that the medical office where he is at had someone answering the phone. Most calls to doctors in Hanford get routed to an answering machine or a phone answering service. I told them that my mom needed to be seen and they scheduled her for the same week. Dr. John Gavini can be found with Kings Medical Group, at 808 Vaughn St., across from the Royal Car Wash on Garner Ave. The office looks recently built, and clean and spacious. Dr. John Gavini was friendly, asked questions about my mom's previous treatments and procedures, examined all her medicines carefully, and made her feel at ease. I'm so happy to find a good internist in Hanford and to be able to recommend him to others. read more

Nothing good to say, unorganized, scheduled appointment drove 45 minutes then told can't see without labs. When I asked why did you tell me to come in, they said who did you talk to, it was now my fault. read more
