I had my first son at Fresno community and it was traumatic and horrible overall. This hospital is AMAZING. The nurses are all so sweet and attentive! Never once did I have any kind of issue with any of my nurses or the staff I encountered. Best nurses I've EVER had! And if you want the best OB ever Dr. Minassi is the lady you want! She is truly amazing! The only complaint I have is that the food was AWFUL. My breakfast (waffles, eggs and turkey bacon) was ICE COLD when it got to me. The turkey bacon was inedible burnt and disgusting tasting. The waffles were hard and the eggs were cold and I mean who eats cold scrambled eggs...gross! My food the rest of my stay was the same way! I sent my husband to get food because that food was nasty

Tried to talk to the hospital administration there about the lack of timely care to only be directed to their risk management. I will never return to Adventist Hanford ER again.

My Father-In law was a patient of Dr. Gavini for many years. We brought him in a couple of times…read morebecause he kept falling and was very weak. He also had severe leaning to one side. Dr. Gavini diagnosis was that it was due to a heart valve problem. After ambulances and the fire department were called numerous times to pick him up off the floor, one of the EMT's finally said his leaning was a bad sign and he should go to emergency to be checked out. The E. R. found that he had brain tumors that were now bleeding. It took an EMT to realize something else was going on. Knowing his history of my Father in law having Melanoma in the past Dr. Gavini still couldn't make that connection in his diagnosis, which the E.R. Doctor was able to look up on his chart. We then had to put him on Hospice. Just getting him on Hospice was a choir because we couldn't get the necessary paperwork filled out by Dr. Gavini's office. After a couple days we finally had to go down to the office and put pressure on them to get the paperwork done. The E.R. Doctor which he only meet once showed compassion and called to see how he was doing. NO CALL ever from Dr. Gavini!!

We both found him to be very professional, caring and explained what he was doing and the need to have a complete ultrasound of his feet. The office staff was also professional, caring and was able to get my son an appointment for the ultrasound at their Clovis location. We would highly recommend this group to anyone looking for a cardiologist in the Fresno area. PS: the traffic coming in from Los Banos at 12Noon was not bad and the traffic on E. Herndon ran smooth.

I understand there are plans to build a new facility on the outskirts of Clovis. I have received excellent service the few times I have been here as a patient. I also came with my husband on one of his visits. The doctors are highly qualified. I requested a female cardiologist and was assigned to Dr. Rathi who has been very thorough. My only complaint about the Clovis location is that it is on the opposite side of town from where I live and takes quite awhile to get there, having to drive through congested traffic. I prefer the Saint Agnes location.

When I first saw him regarding the endoscopy he…read morehad me view a video from past patients who told how they didn't feel a thing and how they woke up after the procedure feeling fine. My experience was completely different. First of all, one of Dr. Au's associates did the procedure. It would have nice to have been told beforehand that he wasn't the one who would do it. The nurse put in an IV and I expected to go into twilight sleep. Instead, it was just enough to make me drowsy. I felt everything! When the tube went deeper into my throat I thought I was choking. I couldn't talk but tried with my arm to let the doctor know. The nurse took my arm and held it down till I couldn't move. I don't understand why she couldn't have increased the medication. It was so awful! I go back to get the results but after that I will never step foot in that office again. I thought Dr. Au was nice and professional during my first appointment and I assumed he would do the procedure. I'll never go back and I do not recommend this office. If I could give zero stars, I would.

He is extremely thorough and very informative, always taking the time to sit down and explain everything in a way that is easy to understand. If something isn't clear, he patiently goes over it again until we feel comfortable. He takes every precaution with their care, and it shows in the way he handles each appointment. The entire staff is also wonderful--friendly, professional, and very helpful. They make every visit smooth and stress-free. Dr. Sarmad Said put in a pacemaker with one of the leads…read moreunattached. I was in a tremendous amount of pain, it hurt to breath. During my follow-up appointment with Dr. Said he did not take the time to check the pacemaker at all. He got very defensive and told me my pain could be from any number of things, kidneys, gall bladder etc. When I reiterated that the pain began after the pacemaker was put in he just dismissed me and said it wasn't the pacemaker and to get a second opinion. Upon getting a second opinion, I found out that the pacemaker wasn't put in properly. I then had surgery to remove the pacemaker which resolved the pain. I learned that I did not need the pacemaker in the first place and that the doctor that removed it has been cleaning up Dr. Said's mistakes for years. What I did need was an ablation, which solved my problem. Dr. Said went from being nice before surgery, to hostile and arrogant afterwards. Worst experience ever.
