They are conservative and don't ever recommend unnecessary treatments. The woman who wrote a bad review, has written bad reviews about 3 dentist. If you keep having bad experience, you might be the problem. This dentist is 2/3 less expensive then the dentist in town that try to talk you into a bunch of stuff, you don't need or don't want. It is against the American Dental Association (ADA) to do this. It is also the right of any patient to decline any treatment a dentist advises for the patient. And they all insist everyone has x-rays and cleanings. People do not have to do what they tell them to do. If I want my partial fixed and I have the cash to pay for it, I have a right to have just that done. Rohr refused. His staff is very kind and nice. The office is clean. My only problem is with the dentist. I am referring to the younger Rohr and not his father, who has retired. I will share with you this information about the ADA rights of patients. You will find it on the web. Patient Rights 1. You have a right to choose your own dentist and schedule an appointment in a timely manner. 2. You have a right to know the education and training of your dentist and the dental care team. 3. You have a right to arrange to see the dentist every time you receive dental treatment, subject to any state law exceptions. 4. You have a right to adequate time to ask questions and receive answers regarding your dental condition and treatment plan for your care. 5. You have the right to know what the dental team feels is the optimal treatment plan as well as the right to ask for alternative treatment options. 6. You have a right to an explanation of the purpose, probable (short and long term) results, alternatives and risks involved before consenting to a proposed treatment plan. 7. You have a right to be informed of continuing heath care needs. 8. You have a right to know in advance the expected cost of treatment. 9. You have a right to accept, defer or decline any part of your treatment recommendations.
