I hardly ever give low star ratings so I shared this feedback with the intention of helping inform…read morepotential future patients and to give suggestions for improvement. I woke up with severe sudden neck and shoulder pain. A day later it was still just as bad and I couldn't move my head without moving my whole body due to pain. I found this office and their website listed a free evaluation so scheduled online and was able to get a same day appt. When I arrived, I was surprised to see that the treatment space / table was completely open and next to the desk / reception area, without any privacy. There was a woman receiving treatment when I walked in which, working in health care, did not seem right or comfortable. I also saw the name was .."family chiropractic" but was surprised to realize that the Chiropractors' child was there running around. I was an early childhood teacher for years so love children, and also am very aware of the challenges and expense of having daycare, and still, it felt incredibly unprofessional to have a toddler running around as I gave info and received treatment, often interrupting her Mom in the middle of it. I might have thought it was less of an issue if I hadn't been in so much pain, but still think a practitioner should be able to focus 100% on the patient when with them. Finally, as I gave info (which was very little - woke up, sudden pain, happened twice before in last 5 years), it seemed to take her a long time to write the info down. I don't feel like she had that much to say or a lot of info to educate me with after hearing what I said. It made me feel less confident in the care I was getting. She did a few adjustments but it was minimal and nothing helped. I realize treatment does not make something go away right away, but in the past initial treatments have provided at least a little relief and this time it didn't. As I went to check out, I was asked about who to bill. I shared that the website and option I selected said "free evaluation" and both looked and me and said, "that's so weird, someone else said they saw that too, but it isn't free." I told them they needed to check their website, which they did and saw what I saw, and blamed it on the website hosting or something. I said I would pay but it looked bad as though they were doing that to get people in but not honoring it. I don't think that was their intention, but again, looks pretty bad. Overall I was really disappointed by the lack of professional environment and care that seemed inadequate. I have since received massage therapy which provided incredible relief and proved to be far more effective and cheaper than chiropractic care.

Seeing Dr. Cherity made all the difference for me in having a successful, unmedicated VBAC and…read morerelief of years of hip pain. I have been seeing Dr. Cherity for about 2 years, right when I found out I was pregnant with my second child. I had bad hip pain before and throughout my first pregnancy, during labor and eventually I had a C-section after unsuccessful active pushing for 5 hours. I wanted my hip pain to go away and for a VBAC with my second. I found Dr. Cherity and saw her consistently every 2 weeks during my entire second pregnancy, felt great the entire time and baby boy was born within 2 hours of my water breaking and with only about 15 minutes of pushing. I truly think her help in my back and hip alignment made the biggest difference. I continued to workout and didn't have the hip pain like I had with my first pregnancy. I think baby boy was able to get in a really good place/position from being aligned as well. I will say I was a little sore after my first couple appointments, but that is normal and it was well worth it for how much Dr. Cherity has helped me! I am very thankful to have found this practice and continue to see Dr. Cherity regularly now still at nearly a year post-partum for maintenance. She is amazing! Also, scheduling is incredibly easy, online or she can book for you and easy to move the appointment if you need to. I feel listened to and she is extremely patient, thorough and well provide exercises if helpful as well.

The cracking sound from my first adjustment scared the living crap out of me, but Dr. Herrera made me feel very sure that I was in good hands, which helped with the apprehension of everything being so brand new to me. At the time, my schedule was beyond hectic as I was both working and going to school full-time, so I often times had to miss appointments with little to no notice, but Dr. Herrera and his staff were so understanding about it and never appeared to be irritated with me (I know I would've been annoyed with me lol). The massage therapist there also ROCKS. Seriously, she gives the best massages I've ever had. Oh! They also send out monthly newsletters with health tips and information about the office... And everyone who works there is bilingual in English and Spanish. The office isn't enormous, but it's super cute, clean, and has cold air-conditioning just in case you come in during the summer months :) I believe he also frequently attends classes/seminars to keep up-to-date on procedures and practices. All in all, it was a great experience and I recovered quite nicely. My neck and back are actually in much better shape than before the accident and I know that I have Dr. Herrera and his wonderful staff to thank for that.
