If you suffer with addiction, do not go to this clinic. Cash only for addiction treatment. He is happy to take your money and then leave you hanging out to dry when you need him. It would be in Dr. Zend's best interest to look at his office practices and staff. There is a good chance he's not getting all the information from his staff or any at all. Corolla seems to run the show, not the doctor. On March 16, 2018, she was hospitalized for exacerbated asthma, Influenza B, and hospital-acquired pneumonia. She was in the hospital for 10 days. She was in severe pain and contacted Dr. Zend's office. She spoke with Corolla. My wife explained to Corolla what was going on and was falsely accused by Corolla of relapsing?? I called their office since my wife was extremely sick in the hospital and did not need this added stress. Corolla told me the same thing but had no facts to back up her accusation, only that my wife had no showed an appointment recently (which she rescheduled and saw Dr. Zend). Corolla was rude, unprofessional, and should not work in any medical setting given her lack of compassion. Medical office staff should not accuse patients of anything unless there is proof or concern in the medical file. My wife needed to talk to Dr. Zend about pain management in the hospital and after care to return to her treatment protocol (she could not breathe, she had the flu, pleurisy in her lungs, and staphylococcus pneumonia from being in the hospital). Needless to say, when she called to schedule an appointment with Dr. Zend on March 26th, after being discharged from the hospital, Corolla told her she had been discharged as a patient. No reason was given. She had never been subject to discipline, failed any tests, and had only missed an appointment because we had a sick child. Several messages were left with Corolla and the receptionist for Dr. Zend to call but no calls were returned by Dr. Zend. Save your money, save your time, and find a better doctor. We will be filing a complaint with the WA Department of Health. His practices should be reviewed. I state this because in my conversation with Corolla on March 20, 2018, she stated to me that Dr. Zend "has to think about his medical license" and cannot worry about situations like this?? Worry about what situation, my wife had the flu and pneumonia and here you are making false accusations. It all comes down to making a buck in your cash based medical practice, instead of listening to your patient and treating a patient who gets the flu during flu season.

True to her word, she mailed me all the needed paperwork promptly, and I received a call from Lisa in the office to let me know that they received all my MRI images from the radiologist. I even got a reminder call the day prior to my appt. I'm not that familiar with Evergreen, so it was a little tricky, finding the office. Parking was a breeze, as all the paperwork was very clear about parking in the "blue" garage. However...it would have been good to know that the office was in the "Tan" section of the Evergreen complex. FYI. The office itself (once I found it) is very large and well-spaced out. There are sports memorabilia and prints on the walls (the doctors specialize in sports medicine, which I like!). The front desk lady was incredibly nice and we chatted. I was seen on time, to the minute. Another friendly gal ushered me to my room, and I was told to change into some very unattractive shorts (!), to take some x-rays. The x-rays provide a different image of the problemmatic area, and being associated with the medical field myself, I believe them to be appropriate and necessary for proper diagnoses. The x-ray tech was awesome! She made me very relaxed and comfortable - even in the hideous shorts. Afterwards I was escorted back to my room, where I was seen by Dr. Roh (see my review of him. He was great). This practice came highly recommended to me by my GP, and I have heard great things from people I know who have been seen here. Now I see why.

After meeting doctor roberts I was certain that he was the doctor for me. He is POSITIVE, realistic, and honest which is important when approaching a procedure like this. All of the nurses and staff are unbelievably helpful and continuosly went out of their way to help me, even when it came to insurance troubles! I never felt ignored or uncomfortable and they were always on the ball when it came to my scheduling, insurance, etc. The ACL replacement procedure itself went amazingly well with almost no scarring and a full recovery back to snowboarding and crossfit at 5 months!!!! Dr. Roberts is a fantastic surgeon and was very positive about recovery times, but what I loved most was that he NEVER told me what I was capable of. Recovery is what you put into it and I feel blessed that I had a doctor as competent and understanding as Dr. Roberts. I send all my friends and family members there! Oh, and get the CPM machine for post surgery. trust me.

With Dr. Catherine Englehart and Roosevelt Chiropractic, that wasn't the case. There is always plenty of parking, the front desk staff is always smiling, and Dr. Cathy is an absolute pleasure to be around. In addition to excellent (gentle) treatment for my neck and SI joint, being treated by Dr. Englehart was one of the most nurturing experiences I have had. Not what I expected from a chiropractor. Dr. Englehart gave me tips on how to alleviate and "reset" my SI joint in between appointments that worked like magic. With a 2 year old at home, an extremely demanding job AND pregnancy, I feel so lucky to have received care from Dr. Englehart. In fact, wish I had met Dr. Englehart during my first pregnancy. She would have been able to alleviate the majority of my pain. I have had chronic lower back and neck issues, and was really hopeful that I might get some relief. First, they charge a $90 intake fee, which isn't covered by health insurance (I've never had that experience at any other chiro office in other places I've lived). The same day of my initial intake, on my way home, I got in a super minor fender bender. At my next appointment they said they wouldnt treat me until I did ANOTHER $90 intake appointment in case there was anything new from my fender bender. I told them my body felt totally fine and that there was hardly any damage or anything to the cars, and that Id even sign a waiver or anything they needed. They kept pressuring me to use my PIP insurance for multiple days, and refused to continue my previous care until I did that, even though I kept saying my body was fine and that I didnt want to use my PIP insurance and couldnt afford to pay out of pocket. At one point Dr. Cosgrove offered to do the new exam for free, but then 2 hours later called back and revoked his offer and said he'd talked to a lawyer who promised that using my PIP wouldnt raise my insurance rates and that he no longer would offer the comped exam because it was a waste of his time. It felt so slimy and like a total money grab. I chose to walk away after never haven gotten any chiropractic care and asked for my original $90 back and they refused.

There was no reviews on any of the practices except for 1....David Oman's office, which very surprisingly had 26, 5 star reviews. Seemed kinda sketchy, but decided to give them a shot. I had never been to a chiropractor before, so wasn't 100% sure what to expect. First and foremost they had openings for every single time slot that day, I thought that was convenient, and didn't think much of it. (I now know why nobody is going there and why there is so much availability.) I arrived to the run down musty building and completed the paperwork while I waited in this room. I sat alone in this room wondering if this is what all chiropractors are time machines back to the 1970s, or if this was a one off. Finally, I got a chance to see Dr. Oman. I described the pain I had, and within the first 5 minutes of conversation, he said I needed x-rays (which he doesn't do because he's prone to many mistakes (his words, not mine) so I would have to go to $wedi$h). And followed that up with how I probably needed surgery. Meanwhile, he hasn't looked or touched my back once, just listened to my story. He finally decided he should check it out, but he never removed the greasy paper that was on the chiropractic table to which he apologized and told me to wait while he removed "Richard's Face Grease". I got a quick adjustment which did kinda help, so there was the only plus....He tried to make a follow up appointment for Friday (he was strangely adamant about Friday). I informed him I had obligations to which he kinda just ignored it and kept pushing for Friday. I made the appointment, knowing full well I wouldn't come back just to end this terrible interaction. Fast forward to me getting the bill for this event and I come to find out that you can't pay online. You can't pay over the phone. You can't pay with a card. You have to pay cash. I have since found a chiropractor that I LOVE over in Edmonds, so don't let this be an indictment on all offices. I strongly recommend Dr. Oman listen to his patients more. Modernize (and cleans) the office in some way. Start accepting electric payments of some form. And, again, start listening to his patients. And, although I can't prove this, don't self review your office with 26 5star reviews....no way he had so many and no other office even had 1.
