It's rare that I walk out of a doctor's office wanting to tell everyone how great my experience is, but that's exactly how I felt! I immediately had a positive impression when I walked in while on a work phone call and the staff told me to take my time with my call. As I filled out forms, I was surprised to get a form that actually told me what my insurance covered - the amount of my deductible, the amount I had already met, and what percentage was covered for allergy testing/allergy shots (with CPT codes too). When I asked the cost for each allergy test prick, I was floored when she could actually tell me the cost - $12 a prick or $600 for all 75 pricks. I can't tell you how many times I've walked into a doctor's office and no one knew the cost of procedures or the CPT codes for the procedure. I couldn't believe it when Dr. Rosenthal spent around 30 minutes with me, in an era when most doctors are limited to 10 minutes per patient. He asked me about my allergy history and tailored his plan to what I said. When I said I didn't want to do allergy shots, he was willing to try an alternative to see if that would treat my problems. When I said I didn't want to pay $600 for all 75 allergy tests, he decided to limit the allergy tests to the ones with the most actionable plan for prevention. On top of all that, Dr. Rosenthal is older, so he's got a wealth of knowledge from first hand experience with patients. For example, he had heard of my very crazy MSG allergy and took the time to teach me how MSG affects the nervous system. He knows which allergy medicines tend to work better for most patients. I really can't say enough good things about Dr. Rosenthal and will recommend him to everyone who mentions allergies to me!

There is hardly any wait time, whether you are seeing the doctor or getting shots. Such a wonderful & responsive staff. Cannot recommend them enough!

Dr. Nsouli is a very kind, caring person, who comes across as someone who knows what he's doing without coming off as arrogant. I've had severe allergies all my life, and Dr. Nsouli is the fourth one I've seen over the past twenty years. He's definitely been one of the top two, mostly because he realized that one reason why I have trouble staying awake (something I thought was completely irrelevant but he asked about it anyway) was because the allergy medication I was currently taking made me sleepy. No other doctor I've seen ever made this connection. When you have to get refills on your allergy serum, you always meet up with a nurse practitioner, not Dr. Nsouli himself. I imagine this is standard protocol, since the good Dr.'s time is valuable and you're not going because of a problem, you just need a refill on meds.

I've been seeing Dr. Simpson in this office for almost a year now. I chose this location primarily…read morefor convenience but I have to say that the customer service is horrible at this office. There is a lack of oversight and accountability. My issues are not with Dr. Simpson as a practitioner but with the overall operation of this office - both administratively as well as the nursing staff. I am at the maintenance stage of my allergy shots, which means I come in every 4 weeks for an injection now. Lost paperwork & additional injections: -09/10/21 for my maintenance shot, I signed consent forms to order a nwe vial since I was almost using up the old one. -10/8/21 for my maintenance shot, they asked me to sign the same forms again but I told them I had signed them in Sept. Never mentioned to me again and so I assumed that they had located the forms. -Today (11/4/21), my vial doesn't have the amount needed to fulfill my maintenance shot. Again, asking me to sign a new consent form for a new vial (ie still cannot locate forms I signed in Sept). But overall, what did this mean? 1) They still wanted to administer and charge for an injection today - would only be 0.3cc of old vial but SHOULD be 0.3cc of the new vial IF it was actually ordered. The low dose affects my maintenance levels of the next injections which means more money out of my pocket. 2) I would have to come back after new vial arrives - would be 0.1cc of the new vial. 3)Then, shot after that would be 0.3cc of the new vial. B/c of the office's mistake, I would have to pay for each of these 3 shots to be administrated instead of the ONE that I should have gotten today. Based on my insurance policy, its an extra cost of ~$60 to 80 out of my own pocket. So, I tried to explain this to the office (with the General Manager named Josh on the phone with Ms Walker, the office staff personnel). I was told he would call me when he got in the office an hour later to resolve this and it never happened. In addition, Ms. Walker tried to argue that I came today technically after my 4 weeks time frame - so, I would have to start back at a lower dose anyway. This was incorrect - tomorrow would have been 4 weeks (10/8 to 11/04). I should also add that there was one other instance, they completely lost my medical record. Sat there for half an hour not knowing what was happening but could hear the jist of it since it is an open office space. I then informed them that Dr. Simpson likely had it since he had just seen me recently for a follow up visit. As for the nurses administering the shots - every time I've come back, its been a different nurse. At most, I've ever seen the same person maybe 2-3 times. There seems to be a lack of consistency. And, each nurse administers the shots differently - sometimes I walk away okay but then other times I walk away super sore. Also, when you arrive for an injection, I found that I needed to allot at least one hour (sometimes longer) if you have to come during "rush hour" which is typically after work. That does include the 30 min that you have to remain after your shot. However, there have been multiple times where there hasn't been anyone before me, but I would find myself waiting 15-20 minutes just to be called in for my injection but I could hear the nurse in the injection room.
