I cannot believe the remarks I see some of you people are writing about Sage Dental in Lady Lake…read more FL Maybe it was different people working there at the time. I am 74 years old and have been to many different dental office all over the United States and in the U.S. Military. My first appt was great. The second, today was even better and Now I am waiting for them to manufacture my new dentures. The people including the front desk, Dentist, and the dental assistant person are top notch. They have the most up to date technology and experience towards the patients. I have been recommending them to everyone I know. Without knowing who you are I would just think you are ignorant as to the ways of the world. I have been to some places I would not even take a dog to. Thank you for being there for me JOE 09-- 03, 2024

Since moving, I visited a new dentist who informed me that the bridge was not done correctly and needs to be completely redone. Because I wanted to be fair, I sought a second opinion from another dentist, and that dentist reached the same conclusion. Unfortunately, my dental insurance will not cover a replacement bridge because the original work was done less than two years ago. As a result, I am now facing aproximatley $4,000 in out-of-pocket costs. I contacted Sage Dental and explained the situation. I even offered to make the four-hour drive back to their office so they could evaluate the problem, but they declined to provide any assistance or solution. I understand that dental work can sometimes fail, but I was disappointed by the lack of support when concerns were raised and confirmed by two other dentists. Patients deserve quality work and accountability when problems occur. This review reflects my personal experience. Pamela Lemmo

I had a very disappointing experience with this dental practice, both during my visit and in the…read moreway they handled billing afterward. I originally went in for a routine cleaning--nothing complicated. However, during my appointment, they only took X-rays, which took an entire hour, and the cleaning I scheduled was never performed. There was no clear explanation given at the time as to why the service I came in for was not completed, which was frustrating and a complete waste of my time. To make matters worse, at checkout I was never informed that I owed anything. There was no mention of a balance, no estimate, and no indication that I would be responsible for any charges. Then, after 167 days of zero communication, I suddenly received an urgent notice demanding payment within days and threatening to send the balance to collections. In that same communication, I was told this was essentially an "oversight" on my end--attempting to shift blame onto me for what is clearly a failure in their own administrative and billing processes. This kind of approach is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. While I was told they are "cleaning up" issues from previous staff, that is not the patient's responsibility. Proper communication and timely billing are basic expectations for any medical office. Patients should not be blindsided months later due to internal disorganization. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, failure to provide the service I actually came in for, and the attempt to blame the patient for their internal mistakes made this a very negative experience. I would not recommend this practice based on how this situation was handled.
