I emailed and called Barbara, she did not reply/return calls. I had to physically go to the office to get a response, which was her sitting behind a desk in a separate room and attempting to yell to me she did the taxes right, the IRS must be wrong. She said the First Time Homebuyer Credit from 2008 was waived by the government and I don't need to pay it at all - WRONG! I have finally gotten through to the IRS by phone now on June 4 and have confirmed Barbara Glanz did my taxes incorrectly. Why did I pay $225 to have my taxes done by a professional, if she does not know the correct tax laws? If it weren't for my own research after the letter arrived, I'd be doing something illegal thanks to Barbara Glanz. She refuses to refund the money we paid her and refuses to research the laws she claims to know. This should stand as a huge warning to anyone looking into a new tax accountant.
