The service was friendly and efficient. The dining area is well furnished & it is easy to move about between tables. The onion rings we had as an appetizer were delicious. The rolls were served hot out of the oven, but it would have been nice to have more. The baked potato was also excellent. The Cole slaw was very good. The NY strip steak was very large & filling. The chocolate decadence dessert had a lot of flavor. There is a very large parking lot.

Johnny's is a little over an hour of a drive for us and I can say it's Definitely worth it. We met some friends for dinner and had a delightful time. I love that the martinis are served in a whole shaker. The drinks were delicious. We started off with Buffalo shrimp. It was nice and crispy and tossed to perfection. Here we go with another French onion soup review.... It was AMAZING. I give it 5 stars for sure. Honestly it tastes like more . My husband ordered the Mahi. Coming from Hawaii and really enjoying fresh mahi he really did enjoy it. I ordered the filet medium rare and it was perfect. My only issue was that I didn't save room for desert because they have a chocolate tiramisu and I really wanted that but I ate everything. Even the pre dinner rolls were good. Will definitely make the drive again. It was nice to get out of Mechanicsburg and try something new and I'm glad I did.

This was a very unexpected surprise. I am an Uber and Lyft driver that had an hour and a half ride bring me here. When I saw Johnny's, right before I dropped off my rider, it was like an oasis in the dessert. I heard angels singing. The prime rib was excellent!! The Old Fashioned... one of the best I have ever had. The his place is exceptional!!

They were out of certain menu items and the steak was just ok. Ambience was ok, entrance is in back of building with a seafood place on top. The food was nothing to write home about. I got steak with shrimp and asparagus and the stuffed pepper soup. My husband concurs.

No one left hungry and the food was delicious! The Ahi Tuna with seared perfectly and super fresh. The hamburgers were very delicious and the french fries although simple in nature were delicious with the bacon and cheese. The cheesecake was impeccable no matter what topping you chose. A delightful time.

This spot is only open on Fridays but I was able to make it up from Washington, DC, after having a long weekend with a holiday. My family was totally into this spot. We easily could have spent all day here. Parking can get very busy. We ended up pulling into the grassy lot and walked about 10 minutes to the main market. You'll find everything from toys to crafts to antiques to junk and everything in between. The food is also fantastic. Come hungry. A hit for us was the pulled pork sandwich topped with cooper's sharp at the stand in the middle of the market by the actual auction. My kids never saw an auction and were transfixed. The atmosphere is lively and you'll see just about every type of person imaginable from locals to visitors from cities and other states!

I knew the Green Dragon is supposedly one of the largest flea markets on the east coast, but I was still blown away by the size of the place. There's a whole field of merchants in tents, along with... sheesh, I lost count... at least 5 other buildings. One of which is animal livestock auctions!! I want a goat so bad!! There are a bunch of food vendors, too. Our group decided on burgers. They were a hit. I left with a pound of "pan pudding" (also known as pork pudding, liver pudding) for a friend who loves it but cant find it in Baltimore. It's like scrapple, but has a different starch binding component. I've looked it up several times, trying to understand the difference and still don't really know. I love scrapple, pan pudding is okay. I also bought a dozen duck eggs. Tell me you don't love a good egg yolk... these are bigger. Jeremy says they have a slight gamey flavor but I didn't pick that up. I don't know that I'd buy them again, but they are really tasty. Lastly, I bought two pool noodle swords... for my wedding. We had jousting and swordfighting, on blow up horses and dragons... it was so much fun. Finding those swords was... well I didn't know such things existed, yet there they were, right in my path, waiting for me. Our friends left with a beautiful vintage croquet set. They paid $40 for it, only to get it home and find out its worth well over $400!! SCORE. We had a really great time. I'd definitely go back.

I'm so torn in the writing of this review, because I love or loved the Olde Lincoln House (OLH)…read morerestaurant, but this particular meal on Valentine's Day, was sad, disappointing and unforgivable. Even though I made a reservation, the parking (both lots), completely full and in semi-empty spaces, held heaps of snow. We partially parked on the side, of a heaping pile and my husband had to scoot his butt, past the steering wheel, to get out of the car. Why am I harping on the car parking situation? Because, if this restaurant choose to stick to those who had reservations, only; I feel there would have been ample parking available. I would have preferred to sit downstairs, dimmed lighting, wooden beams and overall, cozier feel. Yeah, I should have spoken up as to where I would have preferred to sit, but now I'm feeling slighted, by the lack of courtesy shown towards someone, who had the foresight to make a reservation in advance. Upstairs we went - bright lights, white table cloths, nothing cozy or hinting of Valentine's Day. That's okay, I'm thinking; the food will be good. A crock of onion soup, as a starter - perfect, actually, not too salty, caramelized onions, bubbly broiled cheese, savory onion broth, no complaints here. Medium-well prime rib, served raw, with a butter knife, no accompanied horseradish and over-cooked potato slices, undercooked zucchini. I sent it back to the kitchen. The same steak came back to me (not a new one), thirty minutes later, with the proper steak knife and horseradish. My husband's entree of five smallish scallops - decorated by halved, charred brussel sprouts on either side, looked more like an appetizer. This meal burned a huge, unimpressive hole in our wallet.

Everything was really good with this visit, EXCEPT we could not find the handicapped entrance. The…read moremain entrance next to the parking lot in the back has two sets of stairs. It turns out the front of the restaurant has no steps from the side walk, but the front door is kept locked. Of course I believe the law requires doors to be unlocked when patrons are on site, but this door was only unlocked for us to leave by. Just ridiculous! Now the Lincoln House has been known as a very nice restaurant for many years, probably at least 50. There are several dining rooms inside, a large separate bar area and indoor porch seating. It is modestly decorated with 19th century prints. The building itself is old and it retains character while having updated decor, tablecloths and glassware. It is upscale but casual dress is ok. One of us absolutely loves the cheesy tomato soup, a regular offering. The tea was nicely brewed. The food was fresh and tasty. Our server AJ was pleasant and attentive. Total price for 2 soups, 2 teas, and a sandwich and large salad was $50. Ample parking, ample space inside. They just have to do something about that handicapped entrance issue.
