There's just something about this place... it's like a ren faire meets a tree house meets a castle garden-- I'm always so surprised this place is so empty when I come in! The service is always good, the ambiance is obviously awesome, and the menu always has a bunch of items that make me so excited! There are seasonal items as well! I always visit whenever I'm in town and definitely recommend it!

Love love love this place. Right from food to ambience to service. Everything was great. Value for money and food is delicious. We came here on all 3 days during our trip to Lancaster and it did not disappoint. Everyone was very good to our kid and our pup. Saturdays are live music days and the band actually sang old McDonald for my 2 year old!! Sunday, we went for breakfast buffet 15 mins before closing time and they graciously kept it open for us to make sure we got everything AND did not charge us because they knew we had to rush through in the end. Definitely recommend this restaurant for your food needs when you're in the area.

Our Sorority decided to have our 40th Anniversary Dinner @ Loxleys! We had a private room and the establishment allowed us to set-up a projection screen and have our photo slide show collage be in the background while we enjoyed our drinks...appetizers and meals! I had the Thai Chili wings and shared Crab Dip! Both were satisfactory and enjoyable... We had a great server and we were able to all have separate checks which made it stress free when paying our bills at the end of the evening!

Loved this place. I had it pinned because I didn't want to forget to go during my 4 days in Lancaster. I liked the idea of dining in a "tree house" but no one was sitting outside, upstairs -- maybe because it was chilly. Oh well, my dinner (inside) and service was amazing. I had a delicious steak with mashed potatoes and my waitress was very nice. Glad I went and I also enjoyed the little Koi pond out front.

Cute place and good food. Very comforting food. The potato soup was spectacular and was very hearty. We enjoyed some of the seasonal cocktails during our business dinner. They were so accommodating and our waitress was on top of things the whole 3 hours! She was awesome and made me want to come back again :)

After reading some of the reviews, we decided to have dinner here. The atmosphere was great, but the service was a little off. When we ordered our drinks (2 smoked Old Fashions), we were asked what Bourbon we preferred, and we went with Buffalo Trace. The drinks were listed on the menu for $12.00, but when we received the check, they were $17.00. When asked about it, we were told it was an upcharge because of the Bourbon we selected. WHAT!??? So basically, we were charged $12.00 for simple syrup, bitters, and ice, and then $5.00 for the Bourbon. Our server either asked the manager or the bartender about the charges, we are not sure which, but in the end, we were told sorry, but that's the way it is. If you decide to visit, make sure to look over your bill at the end. We will avoid this place in the future.

Perfect spot for a happy hour, large groups and romantic dates! Inside and outside seating areas are so cool. Tree house outdoor seating with a bar area is fun for the nice weather days. Inside has a romantic vibe with lots of seating. Menu is big, pricing is fair and the service is great! Oh and the food is delicious! Our waiter Matt, was super friendly and helpful. You can make reservations ahead of time. Plenty of parking and convenient location right off of 30.

Check the on street parking kiosk for prices/hours. There is a huge staircase to get up to the speakeasy once you find the red door. The website says there is an elevator if needed. Once inside, you will immediately get the speakeasy vibe with the moody and dark decor, as well as the period appropriate lighting and seating options. There's some small intimate areas, as well as a main bar, a side seating bar area, and a back area with tables and chairs. I would recommend reservations. You can pick the bar or lounge when making reservations on their website. From the moment you enter, you will get terrific service. The host was great and we were early for our reservation, but we were seated at the bar as requested. As soon as we sat down, the bartender greeted us with waters and a sample of a bourbon punch. The entire visit was filled with very attentive staff who were always friendly and knowledgeable about the offerings on the menu. The drinks are well thought out and very good. The quality of the ingredients, as well as the flavor profiles work well. It is very difficult to pick from their crafty menu. We tried a total of 4 drinks and all were delicious. Highly recommend the Papucho - such an excellent mix of flavors that are well balanced and a very unique flavor. Honestly, not sure you will find one drink on this menu that isn't delicious. They do offer a menu of various foods. We ordered the octopus and the roasted monk fish. Both were fantastic. The servings are not big so be prepared to order dental dishes or just come with the intention of not getting a massive meal. They are good portions for a small dinner or think tapas. Overall, they have a fabulous experience with some super delicious drinks. Well done!

Our server was amazing (I wish I remembered his name!), the food was delicious, and the drinks never fail to impress. The only issue we have every time we go is that they unfortunately always run out of a few dishes on the menu (and always seems to be the ones we want)! In addition, calling the restaurant has been difficult, it has often gone straight to voicemail for me. For that reason make sure to make reservations ONLINE (that has never failed). Come EARLY if you want to ensure you'll get a menu item (we often get there around 8 pm or later, some menu items always run out for us). Regardless, this doesn't stop us from coming!

Okay, I see you, Lancaster. If there's one restaurant to allure the Michelin guide to Lancaster,…read moreit's Josephine's near the famous Central Market. Joining for dinner on a Thursday evening in July, here's my experience. 1) Food: The chef and pastry chef take their jobs seriously. Every dish was unique, full of flavor, beautiful, and worth every dollar. To start, they bring out homemade bread made fresh every morning with salted butter. I ordered the special- five jumbo shrimp with smoked garlic aioli. (They have cocktail sauce if you want it, but the garlic is phenomenal.) Before the main came out, the chef brought over the gazpacho using vegetables from his garden. The soup was thicker than I'm used to, but it paired perfectly with the vegetables. It was delicious! The scallops for the main were perfectly cooked and worked with the sauce in the middle of the plate and the green sauce on top of each scallop. Another winner! The lemon custard was refreshing for dessert. It's presented so well where you uncover more layers with each bite. 2) Drinks: They have a full cocktail menu with drinks named after famous people, wine, beer, and mocktails. Enjoying more sweet drinks, I ordered the "Marilyn Monroe." It was a fun drink, but a little too sweet for me. If you like berry and sweet drinks, you'll love it! 3) Service: It's excellent from start to finish. My server Tate was friendly, passionate about the menu, and efficient. His timing with everything was impeccable. 4) Space: It's beautiful. Despite on the basement level, it's lit well with photos of famous icons on the walls. It's iconic!

Great service like that still matters. Bird went with the crab cake and was already planning her next visit halfway through dinner. I started with the shrimp cocktail, followed by the Caesar salad and filet, all outstanding. Everything was paced perfectly and cooked exactly right. And then came dessert...which somehow topped everything else. Incredible way to finish the night. Between the food, atmosphere, and service, it was the perfect spot to celebrate 20 years, plenty of laughs, good memories, and another adventure for the books. Highly recommend.

We came across blue-collar restaurant, but when we pulled in, I was surprised to see it was located inside a golf country club. I almost turned around, but my daughter encouraged us to give it a try--and I'm so glad we did. The restaurant was beautiful inside, with a peaceful view overlooking the golf course that made for a really relaxing lunch. The food was excellent. I ordered the salmon with vegetable risotto special, and it was absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. What really stood out, though, was the service. My daughter is nursing, and my granddaughter has soy and dairy allergies, so we had to be very careful with her meal. Our waiter, Matt, was outstanding. He went above and beyond, checking with the kitchen multiple times to make sure everything was completely free of soy and dairy. He helped put together a custom salad bowl for her, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, we had such a lovely experience--from the food to the atmosphere to the attentive service. I would absolutely recommend this spot and would gladly return.

Drinks came out quickly and the server was very attentive. Overall I'd give the food an 8/10. The dishes were really good. My husband had the cheese pizza and the Power Bowl (which is listed under salad but not really a salad). I had the Thai steak tips salad (which I all but licked the plate after, and that rarely happens). And then we split the Spicy Tuna Sushi Tots, which are probably my new favorite thing. Our daughter also had the cheeseburger and fries from the kid's menu. The burger was juicy and well seasoned for an $8.00 kids meal. Our only real draw back was that the restaurant was pretty dead and the food took about 40 minutes to come out. Even with the amount of time to get our food, we would be willing to go back because our meals were very good. The presentation and flavor combos really make Blue Collar stand out.
